I have been using your videos to help me teach my class some introductory Russian. I am a 4th grade teacher and I teach an enrichment class in Russian everyday after school. Your videos are a GREAT resource for me. Teaching online is difficult enough (I do it everyday with the pandemic), teaching Russian that way is a bit more difficult. Thank you for all the work you have put into these videos, my class loves them and they are making good progress!
Kristina, you have gone above and beyond with this video - an absolutely outstanding job! I feel like I truly have boosted my Russian today by watching it. огромное спасибо :)
Thank you so much for this video! I am like 1 minute in and know it is the video I have been looking for for ages. I always get the "common words in Russian" video and it is filled with what you would expect ; 'hello' 'goodbye' thankyou etc. which is something you learn straight away, and say once when meeting someone, and then never really use again. You have provided us linguists with that juicy juicy useful phrases and words that you can use endlessly and repeatedly. God bless your socks madam! And thank you
Thanks a lot for this vidéo! I do a bit everyday and try to memorize as much as possible. I’m excited since I will be in Moscow in 10 days to learn and practice Russian after 2 years of studying on Internet.
This is a wonderful video. The repeated sentences make it possible to practice comprehension before having to look and see the answer, and the pace is perfect. Thank you for making this. I’m close to a conversational level, and these phrases are perfect practice. ❤️👍🏼
@@BoostYourRussian It helps a lot. My wife’s family is all in Moscow and Podolsk, and I want to be able to surprise them with my Russian level. My mother in law is an English teacher out there, but I’d love to not need her translation help. I need to practice writing now. I can read, but the spelling is difficult. I never know where I’ll need to add a “ь.” 😂 One day at a time. It’s getting better
Hello Kristina. For a long time I have not listened to your lesson. Today I feel very happy learning new words. Привет Кристина. Мне нравится ваше видео. Так полезно. И спасибо тебе большое. 🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆
Thank you very much for this work you do! I´ve only begun to learn russian and I´m proud to say that I noticed a mistake at 27:39 . You say Vas, but have written Tebya =). An informal / formal kind of thing going on there, right? Then again the answer, "We don´t" would imply that it should have been Vas (Bac) ? Or am I mistaken?
Oh, right! I said the sentences in the polite form but put it in the informal form on the slide! The answer is "нет" which means "no". It´s the same in formal and informal conversations
@@BoostYourRussian I thought you could get away with that with settings. I watch other videos with other topics and they don't have ads. Worth looking into it. Thanks for the reply.
Hi -- so just curious about how to use videos like this? Clearly, listening to an hour-plus of phrases in a single sitting, even with repetition, you probably wouldn't retain much. Do you recommend breaking this up? Is there a logical grouping to these expressions? Thx.
Thank you so much for your effort your channel is unparallel the best one for teaching Russian
