Hi, Thank you for the great videos. How compatible is the Swiftlock technology with a prescription insert? If I am wearing the goggles and remove a lens, will the insert stay in the goggles, or come out with the lens? Thank you.
Hi Neil! Swiftlock technology works great with the prescription inserts. The insert sits inside the goggle frame so you can just pop off the lens and your insert will stay inside the goggle.
Good Whisky Laphroaig .... My favorits are , Cao ila,Ardberg, or lagavulin 16 ... 😊. I m waiting for the X1 in few days .... your videos are always good .
I have the APXs goggles and need replacement lenses for them. However, it looks like Dragon discontinued the APX series. Are the X1s lenses compatible for APXs?
Hi Christopher! Lumalens is definitely an upgrade. the main difference there is contrast enhancement. Everything will appear more vivid and defined. This helps you to pick up on details in your environment. Hope this helps!
Hello Jonathan! They have in the past! And it may be something that we can get for you. I would recommend contacting one of our opticians here to check on the availability: www.sportrx.com/contact. Thanks for reaching out!
So the apx and apx 2 became the x1 and X2 but does the apx2 before the name change have optimized lenses? Or is that only after the 2017 revision/rename of the apx2 where optimized/lumalens became a thing and 2016 models are just standard lenses...? It has to say optimized/lumalens to be such correct? 2017 revision all of them became optimized/luma fron what im picking up? Or does having an "ion" lens mean the samething? Maybe I should email dragon lol.
Hello Evann! You are totally correct. All goggle brands have now switched over to the latest lens tech to help boost contrast. Any Lumalens will have this upgraded tech in the lens but older seasons goggles do not always have it since it is still relatively new to the goggle market. Thanks for reaching out!
If you need the goggle and prescription click here: www.sportrx.com/dragon-x1-snow-goggle.html If you just need the prescription insert click here: www.sportrx.com/prescription-ski-goggle-insert.html
They're almost identical, we didn't notice a difference on the lens size. If you're deciding between these two and you ever change your lenses even once, we highly recommend the X2. It's super nice and the lens changing system is one of the best we've ever seen.
That's a great question! It boils down to a design decision. While there is definitely a function to those lines in the lenses (venting), the goggle is still amazing at encouraging air circulation to cut down on fogging. It was decided that the venting in the lens wasn't as beneficial as they thought the design to be less favorable.
Hi Nessie! Optimized is now called Lumalens. It is awesome and you should get it! When you are selecting your goggles the name of the lens color in the description will say Lumalens if indeed it is one. So just make sure you select that in the name.
I just bought the Dragon X2 goggle. The shop said it was 2017 model but on the box theres a date that says 04/18/15. Does it mean that its a 2015/16 season? Did the shop lied to me?
Nessie, sorry, but it sounds like those are not from 2017. Fortunately, the model is still the same, so if you want the Lumalens, you can always order the replacement lens and it will fit! Give us a call if you decide to do that and we can help you with that! 888-831-5817
Hi Christopher! The black one is the Knightrider version with the dark smoke lens. You can see all the available color options on our site: www.sportrx.com/dragon-x2s-snow-goggle.html

Are the X1 and 2 the same size google? I have the X2 and was wondering.
Hey CJ! Yes, the X1 & X2 are the same size. The X2 is simply the updated version of the X1 that includes Dragon's Switchlock lens change system!
Damn glad I bought these, you guys nailed it
Hello Jonathan! Thanks for the love!
nothing mentioned about the S models

I'm in the same situation... would be curious if they would fit
Are the old optimized lenses the same as lumalens or is lumalens an upgrade?
Hi Christopher! Lumalens is definitely an upgrade. the main difference there is contrast enhancement. Everything will appear more vivid and defined. This helps you to pick up on details in your environment. Hope this helps!
Hi, do you know if Transition ones come with 2 lenses? How about Polarized? I ordered 2 pairs from another site, they only come with the single lens
Does Dragon make any lenses for the X2s that are polarized?
Hello Jonathan! They have in the past! And it may be something that we can get for you. I would recommend contacting one of our opticians here to check on the availability: www.sportrx.com/contact. Thanks for reaching out!

Are the 'Dark Smoke' lenses lumalens?
Hello George! Yes, Dark Smoke is Lumalens. You can learn more about Lumalen Tech here: www.sportrx.com/blog/dragon-lumalens-snow-goggle-lens-guide/.
Do the X1 hold up in 21/22 season?
Would a x1 lens fit on the apx goggles?
Hello Wilmer! The lenses are not compatible between models.
So are the lenses interchangeable between the x1 and x2??
Hi Will! The lenses are not interchangeable because the X1 has a different interchange system than the X2. Thanks for reaching out!

Which one has actually bigger lens? Do they have same size?
They're almost identical, we didn't notice a difference on the lens size. If you're deciding between these two and you ever change your lenses even once, we highly recommend the X2. It's super nice and the lens changing system is one of the best we've ever seen.
Anyone know why the lined holes at the top aren't on the X2 anymore?
That's a great question! It boils down to a design decision. While there is definitely a function to those lines in the lenses (venting), the goggle is still amazing at encouraging air circulation to cut down on fogging. It was decided that the venting in the lens wasn't as beneficial as they thought the design to be less favorable.
What about the new polarized lenses, would you recommend the lumalens instead to be able to see ice patches etc?
Does the X2s also have the swiftlock system?
Hello! Yes, the Dragon X2s does feature the swiftlock system. Thanks for reaching out!
your welcome always happy to ask :)
Does all the x2 comes with optimized lenses or is it extra?
Hi Nessie! Optimized is now called Lumalens. It is awesome and you should get it! When you are selecting your goggles the name of the lens color in the description will say Lumalens if indeed it is one. So just make sure you select that in the name.
