Rusty Japanese Hammer Restoration

Restoration of a rusty Japanese hammer
I repaired an old Japanese rusted hammer with a mirror surface.
The handle uses pruned cherry blossoms.
There was an accident that the container collapsed while removing rust on the way, but I was able to finish it as a mirror ♪
First, clean the rusty dirt on the hammer with a metal spatula and brush.
Remove rust by putting an acidic detergent of 100 yen and 1 dollar sold at Daiso in Japan in a container.
The container was knocked down by an animal during storage.
Who are cats, boars and bears?
Flatten the surface of the hammer with a belt sander.
Rub with 320/600/1000/2000 sandpaper.
Polish with red, white and blue abrasives.
The pattern used is cherry blossoms in the garden.
Shave the surface with a previously repaired ax.
Finish with sandpaper and apply beeswax to complete.
