Ralph's back! Yippee! Now, where did Maryann go? Yes, this dip recipe is universal, like Ralph suggested, & it definitely has a hometown, spring texture & appearance to it. I love the simplicity of this crowd pleaser. Can you imagine mixing in fresh 16-count of Gulf shrimp, boiled with the stove. Excited about the idea of anj episode on electric food processors. In fact, might be helpful to make a few statements on the difference btw/them & blenders. Thank you both for producing this episode of delicious recipes God bless.
Thanks, Sallie! Putting in some fresh shrimp would be wonderful!! I'll try to point out the differences when I do the food processor episode - although they are mostly similar in their design (others did their version of the Cuisinart). Thanks!
Hi Kevin and Ralph, welcome back Ralph, so nice to hear your voice! That dip looks good. I make Ina Garten's caramelized onion dip, delicious with kettle chips. Stay well guys! ❤😊
Hi Kevin. Welcome back Ralph 👏🏻 so nice to hear you again. Looks like a delicious dip and so easy to make. Thanks for the new addition to my recipe book. Take care guys.
Welcome back Señor Ralph! I was hoping for a new Cavalcade of Cocktails episode... but this is good too. I noticed that a lot of folks on here were thinking about how good this would be on a bagel! My thoughts exactly! Wonderful episode... take care!
Hi Greg! We're do for a cocktail episode - we will need to think what would be good. Maybe something for warmer weather (hopefully coming soon!). The bagel idea is a great one! Hope all is well - thanks!!
Thank you for making these videos I have always loved vintage stuff and so enjoy your videos. Love your cooking and am going to make some of your recipes.Much joy from Canada!
Hi Kevin! So great to hear Ralph behind the camera. I made this recipe last Friday and it is truly excellent. I broke out my vintage Cuisinart DCL 7 my only alteration of your recipe was substituting fresh garlic for powder. I love the bite of real garlic, and I added Ralph’s suggestion of a jalapeño. I added half of one with the seeds. It was a great added zing in the back of your mouth. This will be a go to for when I have friends coming over! It is so easy to make and so wonderful to enjoy. Thank you both for brightening my day with a great recipe and a happy place to visit! I’m looking forward to making pierogi with no s! 😊
Hi John - thanks for sharing your variation and letting me know how it came out with the jalapeno! I think I'm going to try that next time. We served this on Easter and everyone ate it up! It's great for parties and can be made well in advance. Thanks!
Loved this! Never knew there was a sunbeam food processor. The dark color bowls on the earlier cuisinarts was called amber. Hard to find replacement bowls in the amber color. Can't wait till you show all your food processors! I will be trying this dip in my cuisinart! Hope all is well in Michigan.
Thanks, Corey! Yes, Sunbeam made food processors for a few years. They were fairly good machines. Hope you try this recipes - your Cuisinart will make quick work of it!
Looks delicious! My mom used to call scallions rareripes, an old school word I believe. Spring onions look like scallions but I believe the bulb end is larger, marble size.
Hi, Kevin! It was so nice to hear Ralph again. Good to know all is well there for all of you. I can't wait to try this dip. I can see it being great in many ways. Loving the spring in Texas!

Looks delicious! My mom used to call scallions rareripes, an old school word I believe. Spring onions look like scallions but I believe the bulb end is larger, marble size.
Hi Maryann - thanks for that explanation. Can't say that I've heard scallions rareripes before.

Thanks, James! Same camera - new tripod!
RALPH!! ❤
Thanks, Duane!!
Great show 😊
Thank you, Charles!
Looks delicious! You can take the roots you cut off your green onions, plant them and they will grow back.
Hi Mary - I didn't know that! Thanks!
i really like the idea of this dip. What do you think does it go well with for dinner (without meat) apart from potato chips?
Hi Mattie - this is wonderful with any kind of raw vegetables or pita. Thanks!
Nice handwriting dude.
Thanks, flyingsodwai!
RALPH 🎉🎉🎉
Thanks, dgf!
Hi Kevin and Ralph!
That is a very healthy dip, and it looks easy to make. I love the decoration on the food processor.
Hi Anna! Isn't that a great image they put on the food processor? Thanks!
