- My second outing since Christmas, the first ten minutes looked to be promising with a fish. How wrong could I have been! It turned into a hard days graft but I did get results in the end. Happy days 👍

@@BlackCountryPiker Yeah in the summer I was a regular at Rob's and to be fair I've had some good lures from there, but this year I wanna up my game big time so maybe Savage gear lures or Fox stuff, just trying to keep the costs down hahaha

Rob has had a lot of lures in for this season. Angling direct Halesowen have a reasonable range and Malcolm Storey in Halesowen. You can’t go wrong with savage gear 13 & 19cm liplures. Also drennan esox zagtail I think they are. Range from £8-£10 each. Other online shops bobco, agm lures 👍

My favourites are roach flashtail and a red head roach flashtail mix
@@garymoore6499 I try 😂 sometimes it’s days. I think the ones I have are 6/0 hooks and the the weight depends on canal or river. So canals I go 5-8g roughly. For rivers 10g, fast rivers 14g
