Good evening Rebecca, I love all of my VB eyeliners. They don’t budge and the colors are beautiful.I also like the amount you get too. Thanks for the great video !! 💕Arleen
Hi Rebecca, I haven't really tried anything from Victoria Beckham beauty before. I have always wanted to try her eyeshadow formula and her lipsticks a lot of people say her lipsticks are really good. Eye liner doesn't last on my waterline. I have very watery eyes and it gets washed away. But I would love to try her liners. The shades she has are very pretty. Thanks for sharing Rebecca. Have a beautiful day.
Hello Iris! Ah yes, the watery eyeline. It's the enemy of waterline eyeliner for sure! But I bet there's one that would stay. The quest is long and difficult, though!
True!!! I think they’re actually too small of an operation for Sephora which requires such massive amounts of products. That being said…ya never know, right?!
Ohhhh, what a pretty color this is! Wow! This is the exact color of my eyes. I can see this working with my gold and bronze palettes as a liner. I am wondering if this is a close shade to the Sephora 12 hr contour pencil in Waterfall? Love that lipgloss on you as wel. Very pretty.
Janice! So the past few days, the videos I've been running have, as you say, combined this liner with bronze, gold and brown eyeshadow and it's perfect.
Ohhh, I've been looking for this color! I love "Olive." I think "Olive" might be my favorite eyeliner ever! I like that VB liners seem to be more curated colors- instead of just putting out all the colors she tries to make them special. I wish the price had not gone up. I am willing to pay for it because I have been looking for this color forever. However, I can say that I will not be buying multiple products. That might be something companies need to consider- as prices go up some of us will probably be buying fewer products. Everything has gone up in price but my income hasn't.
Christine! I agree....with everything you say here. The VBB releases are special for sure. Curated and slow and thoughtful, too. But...yes. EVERY price goes up, restaurants even include extra to pay for employee healthcare now (eek!) but my salary remains the same....slim!
That’s stunning on you! Love the shirt, too 😂. I only have 3 of these, Bronze, Cocoa and Navy Noir. I do find Coco a bit smudgy; my fave liners are Charlotte Tilbury; I’m really not much of a liner person. I think I might get this pencil with my next lip product repurchase from VB!
Hello Ann! This is definitely a pretty one. And in the water line, which is really how I wear liner, it’s noticeable in a good way and pairs very well with shadows that are brown or copper.
Hi. I have just found your reviews on Victoria beckham make up and they are great. I actually brought sea grey because of your review and absolutely love it. I then tried lid lustre in chiffon and found the fall out really bad so they refunded me the money. So i want to get another liner. I have green eyes and wondered what one would be best. I like surfside, olive (but worried it would be too dark) sequin green (but like to use it in waterline so worried about glitter) or maybe i should try a bronze colour. There is too many to choose from 😂
THANK YOU! How kind of you! I have green eyes too and, honestly, I LOVE the Cinnamon and the Cocoa. She needs a slightly more aubergine shade too. I worry, also, about the sequin in the waterline. And Olive is GREAT too because it has that brown in it but the slight green brings out our eyes.
Ah. I ordered 2 today and didn't pay attention to the sharpener bit - forgot you'd mentioned that so now I've got two sharpeners on the way!! I signed up to newsletter and got a discount.
You will not regret adding the sharpeners on. I was just using another one on my pencils yesterday and it kind of hacks away at them. Her own sharpener is a bit more fluid with them
@NotFitforPrintBeauty they have arrived. Wow! I've put the Ash shade on and it's beautiful. It applies so easily and the pencil is so luxe to hold. It came in a cute little bag and everything. I know the wrapping shouldn't matter but when you pay good money you need an experience
Oh I just love this! I currently have 4 in my basket yet I'm on a no buy this year! Ugh.... I have a drawer full of liners yet of course I want these! If I choose to only buy one which would you choose? I love the Hourglass liners, I have blk, brn and a copper one (which I never use) I'm thinking one of the blues...... thank you for the temptation🤣
I think this one is the most unique yet. I put it JUST in my waterline and it's THE look on its own with mascara and a bit of bronzer in the crease. The Navy Noir would be more akin to a gentler black shade once it's on the eyes. So it depends how LOUD you want it to be.
It’s homemade! Super cheapie from Amazon and then I put some sticky back wallpaper floral on the back so that you didn’t have to stare at an ugly steel thing.
On the day that I’ve filmed this, I filmed a few more videos afterwards and I ended up putting the Pat McGrath droid palette over it. But any palette with bronze or gold shades layers over this liner beautifully!
Thank you for a great review 😊it looks beautiful, I have similar colour eyes, may I ask which shade would be the most complimentary? Hoping to make the green stand out more especially for everyday use. 😊💜
The olive is very complimentary and, boring, but the cocoa. This one is more opposite end of the color wheel on our eyes but that makes it NOTICEABLE and fun.
Hi Rebecca -- great demo and review -- thank you! 🤗 I have VB's Kajal in Ash -- I LOVE the color BUT I'm having an impossible time sharpening it! :-( For some reason, the VB sharpener wasn't included when I bought it, and the high-end sharpeners I have from other brands don't do the job. The lead keeps breaking and dropping out of the pencil. I've been searching for another go-to eyeliner ever since Marc Jacobs Matte Gel Eye Crayon in (Iron)y was discontinued. I was hoping VB's Ash Satin Kajal would be the one, but it doesn't quite make it. Very disappointing!
Oh no! This is not good. I am so sorry. Two suggestions. The first is the Charlotte Tilbury sharpener. I have had good luck with that one. The esum sharpener as well. I wonder, also, if VBB themselves might have a suggestion in how they can get one to you

Quick question: you mentioned the Victoria Beckham eye liner had a smudger at one end, is it easy to clean? Sounds unhygienic otherwise. By the way, loving your videos. So detailed with products well illustrated and you are always so cheery and lovely :) Thanks
Thank you so very much for this lovely comment, Elizabeth I appreciate it so much. The sponge tip is less like a makeup sponge and more like an old fashion eyeliner smudger like we used to have ages and ages ago. In that sense, it is not meant to be cleaned. But, I have to tell you, as I read your comment, I realized that you make a very good point. And I wonder if you could clean them. I don’t think it would stand up very well under water but, my goodness, it might. As long as you ran the water gently and used maybe the same type of cleaner you would use for regular make up brushes. It’s kind of rubbery. This is such an interesting question. I have to research it more.
At 2:30 you say they sharpen like a regular liner, but mine is definitely not sharpening... I'm using the VB sharpener and it's just spinning around... it says it comes with a 'sharpenable tip' but does that really mean it's filled all the way through with product? I've only used it 3 times and it's at the nub.... I hope you can help!
You are now the third person who has told me this AND with the VBB sharpener. One of the people who had an issue is my dearest friend from childhood! So I was able to chat with her on the phone about it. With hers, it seemed to be the fault of the VBB sharpener. I wonder if they've had a bad batch? She solved it by switching to, I believe it was, an old PML sharpener she had lying around. Worked perfectly. Maybe you've tried other sharpeners already? Report back to me. Let's solve this!
@@NotFitforPrintBeauty Hmmm really interesting, I was sent two sharpeners since I bought three liners and the white pencil liner works like a dream but the satin kajal's are not! Ohhh I did find another sharpener with a little bit of a smaller opening and that seems to work! It's going to take some finessing to make sure the tip doesn't keep falling off but all hope is not lost!! (I even tried freezing it to make it harder haha) Thank you i thought I was going nutso!! :D
@@jennysrp oh that’s even more interesting. So it’s not the sharpener since it works on others. It’s the size of the pencil. But I find it interesting that the people I’ve spoken to with this issue are all having it with the sharpener the brand itself provides. Exactly, other sharpeners will work but now it’s about finding the right one. Might be worth investing in some super cheapo ones from Amazon. Like a little set. I’m so sorry you’re having this issue.
@@NotFitforPrintBeauty Thanks love! I've sent a customer service email to VBB so they have a heads up - would be a shame for others to lose out on a nice product because of a fault!
Yippee Skippee, you reviewed this very interesting pop of color! I ordered when I received the Victoria B email for Surfside AFTER I read your Smokey Quartz review (I ordered both to get free shipping.) How do you think we can mix the eyeliners....I was thinking of Seagrey all over then Surfside as a pop? Would that be a topic you could do? Love your enthusiastic reviews!
You know, Tiffany, I used to use her lip liners almost exclusively and I have not given them enough love lately. They truly are quite beautiful and I like that they are a traditional almost sort of waxy lip liner that actually keeps lipstick from bleeding.
I do love every shade from these liners but cannot justify the cost. I have an entire 'artist's roll' full of eye-liners, including this shade and don't need anymore. I did try Dior's felt tip liner which I adore and plan to get more in future. I don't need pencils that can be used as shadow as I have far too many eye-shadows already. I have seen these applied a few times now and they look stunning, yet another product I can live without. Love this shade on you, Rebecca.🇦🇺💖🕊
@@NotFitforPrintBeauty As I am an artist, (hobby, not professional), I had a spare pencil roll and decided to store my eye-liners in it. It's a great idea and so convenient. They stay put and don't move until you take them out. They don't cost much and much better than having them sitting in a jar etc., in my humble opinion anyway. Now, to store my lipsticks???💖
@@NotFitforPrintBeauty It was Scott Barnes who inspired me. He has 'books' containing 'pages' where liners or lipsticks are placed. I simply condensed this to using my artist wrap which just fits everything eye related in. It made perfect sense and has saved so much room. Convenient too.💖
I'm not a big eye liner user. I suck at it because of my disability lol. But knowing these can double as an eyeshadow....? Damn I'm tempted lol. I might wait until a sale and buy some. In saying that, she probably won't do another sale until the end of the year lol
Melissa! I think we might see a few more sales from the brand since they’ve had the price hike but time will tell. I love these more as a one and done shadow stick than I do as a liner.
I love this shade but I refuse to buy at the new price, it’s just not worth it for an eyeliner. Then you have to buy something else to get free shipping so it becomes very expensive. Thanks for the review and you are looking really well xxx
This has been the usual shipping practice with lots of US and some UK cosmetic vendors. I've had a couple of episodes where they actually charge separate postage for each items, resulting in postage costs being nearly equivalent to the cost of items. This just makes me appreciate Pat Mcgrath's free shipping so much more.
@@kayade5305 true! True! You know just the other day I purchased two tarte items from QVC at the same time and, I’ll be darned, they went ahead and packaged them separately and charged separate shipping on each even though they were in the same order. And I need to clearly contact someone and argue about that but what happens is busy people rarely bother and the retailer keeps the change. So that’s also definitely a trick that we all need to be on the lookout for.
Oh no !!! Now I need to buy another pencil !! I have to have it 🤣 ( Yes, I have a problem) I am one of the brave ones who use the jeweled liner in my inner lid , upper/ lower. I even wear contacts and the glitter does not bother my eyes. Thank you for forcing me to buy more makeup, 😉.

@@jennysrp agreed. How strange, too, that it works on another of her pencils!
Hi lovely Rebecca !! Wow think I’m first 🥰💕
Bridget!!!! 💕💕💕
I love the idea of see gray all over the eye and surf side as the pop but in the waterline and to tight line. That would be so beautiful
@@NotFitforPrintBeauty Great idea! Thank you so much!
@@dallasaggie12 💕💕💕
I love her liners. What about her lip liners?
You know, Tiffany, I used to use her lip liners almost exclusively and I have not given them enough love lately. They truly are quite beautiful and I like that they are a traditional almost sort of waxy lip liner that actually keeps lipstick from bleeding.
@@NotFitforPrintBeauty Then it is a must buy for me! Thank you for your help! 🥰

The artist roll of eyeliners. That is just so 100% accurate
@@krisushi1 it’s a brilliant idea and I have seen make up artists do it so we should do it too!
@@NotFitforPrintBeauty It was Scott Barnes who inspired me. He has 'books' containing 'pages' where liners or lipsticks are placed. I simply condensed this to using my artist wrap which just fits everything eye related in. It made perfect sense and has saved so much room. Convenient too.💖
@@krisushi1 Scott is a genius.
I love teal...i have yet to find a teal shade that doesnt spread across my face
I wonder if this would work for ya
@NotFitforPrintBeauty I ordered it, I will find out...
Emma, I hear you. I truly hear you. Yep. Unless you need more than one thing, paying shipping too is insult to injury.
Haha! I’m a bad influence yet again! Oh Tina, you’re so brave. You give this chicken Here courage to try the jewel liners in my waterline!
Mermaid stuff is trending this year- so this color is perfect. It looks really nice on you- a little more dramatic then you normally wear.
Totally dramatic for me. You know me well. I love it with a Bronze shadow over the teal mermaid base
Love this colour 😍 Rebecca, I've made a TikTok account 🙈 I've given in 😂
YAY! I mean, boo, but you know what I mean. haha. It's a yayboo.
@@NotFitforPrintBeauty 😂😂😂
Perhaps in person it’s different. Let’s see. I love teal color
It’s so striking in the water line. With your red hair, tho, so good
I wanted this one right away! You get this s:$# before it's even released Rebecca!!🤣💙💙
And I delayed this for like four days. I've had it for a bit. But honestly, I just keep my ear to the ground.
Hey Rebecca just how do you sharpen that liner? Lol...there ya go...there's your dime for the day. Now go live on that beach 🏖️🍹💦💙😆
Honestly, I almost just typed out my normal replay to you, "Believe it or not, though this LOOKS plastic, it's actually a pencil and...OH, it's a JOKE. I GET it!" hahahahaha. I'm so used to answering that question now.
@@NotFitforPrintBeauty yeah I'm always a jokester!! Plus I wanna frosty Tiki drink on the beach...the name "Surfside" had me day dreaming of day drinking on the beach 🤣🥂🏝️
@@pinksparkle258 Good. We gotta drum up more "Can I sharpen this?" business and we'll have it made in the sun, erm, the sun.
I love all of VBB products but I don’t like that shade 😢
It’s very bold.
The sharpener thing seems so wasteful. It seems a great idea to get a discount for no sharpener.
Especially as they’re built on the premise of clean and no waste. Sigh.
