Surf Curse is gonna make me feel nostalgic for childhood in 10-15 years
they can do that even in like 2-3 years
It’s already starting for me. Surf curse always takes me back to my high school years. Which wasn’t thaaat long ago but it makes me remember 2016/2017 when I had different friends who have moved on

That’s a killer drum kit. No hi-hats, no rack toms, just a ride cymbal, a floor tom, a snare, and a bass. Doesn’t get more surfy than that.

Im 28 been listening to this band for about 2,5 yrs now. Last couple of months has a peak in it. And yesterday just found out they are performing near to where i live.. in about two months on a freaking boat!!. Cant describe the euphoria.. also beginnen a band in a week based on surf curse. Its like everything is falling into place. Amazing feel. See you guys in Rotterdam!

The art of drumming - no hihat, nothing but bass drum, snare, floor tom and a cymbal - and he sings during those powerful beats. This is a drum guru - he kills all those drummers behind their castle of drums and cymbals. Never before was less more in perfection.

Nick is a really brilliant writer. Surf Curse is fantastic and so is Current Joys. Saw him perform in Cleveland and got to shake his hand, super nice guy.

I had the luck of catching them play a show in Oct/Nov 2019 down in San Diego. So awesome to see them in person. I actually waited after the show and got their CD autographed. These guys are phenomenal.
I always come back to this performance. I love these guys and this performance so much. (also I’m in love with the interviewer)
