Having been in Taiwan for a month and half, free-lance traveling, I find Taiwanese foodie is quite inadequate compared to Malaysia’s. They only good at promoting Japanese food. If people wanted Japanese, they can come here for cheaper. They have dozens of vloggers promoting some shops and their hits are usually very high. Mind blogging.
For me the store in Mengelembu the best.
Fishball noodles, economy mixed rice, mamak's, curry noodles, zhu char and at times, western food.
It seems like foreign worker very heavy handed with the soy sauce

Yes Taiwan is a good place for food and hospitality. I have been to Taiwan for 4 times and I hope next year can go again
