Three scoops into the rice: chicken broth(I think?), oyster flavoured sauce(my guess?), and dark soya (black) sauce. Boy, watching this after dinner, I'm still hungry.
Hello question. Do malaysian consider the price of this dish to be expensive? I convert the price on our currency its kinda expensive for a street type of food.
It depends on the place and portion. To me, its slightly expensive but its also in a crowded place as Pudu is one of the most busy place in the city. Add to this, the normal size is "small" so the one you see in the video is "small", which as you can see, have a good amount of portion of rice and meat. So RM12 is an OK price for it though in some other places you can get it for RM10-RM11, probably cheaper if outside of the city. The "big" portion at RM20 is expensive however we didn't see how large "big" is, probably double size which mean you get RM4 discount though usually its around 1.5 x the size of "small" assuming he have different pot for "big", i.e RM2 discount..
I'm gonna be in KL the end of February. Will have to try this place.
always fascinating to see how the hawkers prepare their stall and food.
