  • ‪@TheDeenShowTV‬ recently reviewed my discussion with popular Muslim apologist Sneako where they brought on Imam Fadel Soliman to discuss the 10 different Qurans (Qira'at) in his book "Bridges Translation of the 10 Qira'at of the noble Quran". Are there different meaning in the 10 different Qurans? Or do they all say the same thing? Are there contradictions in the meaning? Let's find out...

So the sheikh used the same excuse as Yasir Qadhi (after the 'holes in the narrative" disaster). The new excuse is that they are ALL the quran. But this is so disingenuous. Qira'at is late (10th century), and arose because of significant differences (that remain!) in the Qurans. It was left, apparently, to ibn Mujahid and others to solve these problems by establishing different, but equally canonical readings. Who gave them authority to do that? If the Quran was perfectly preserved, there would be no need for Qira'at. [Gabriel Said Reynolds, The Quran in Its Historical Context. London: Routledge, 2007]
And how ridiculous to simply use a decree to call them all 'the same'!
If you'd asked all these liars 20 years ago if the quran was 'perfectly preserved' they would have agreed - and claimed that was a miracle. Now they are desperately trying to find excuses. Without lies, islame dies.

Yes, according to the standard sunni narrative Uthman decided which version to use and destroyed all previous texts, including the muhammed quran, in order to erase the differences from history. He was truly a partner of al-lah! Even worse, he or some reformer like him thought it a good idea to re-order the verses from their original chronological order and put them into chapters that were largely ordered according to length of text (excepting the first sura). Longest to shortest. This means the quran is not in the order 'sent down' by their al-lah. I have not yet found a muslim willing to identify the person responsible for such blasphemy against their moon god. Whoever it was should be held together with Aisha's tame sheep and both should be severely punished for altering the totally preserved book that is protected from all corruption by, whoever he is.

THE BIBLE: The Bible was originally written in three different languages (Hebrew, Greek, and Aramaic), on three different continents (Europe, Asia, and Africa), in a time-spend of over 1500 years, by over forty different authors among whom were kings, peasants, philosophers, fishermen, poets, statesmen, scholars, a herdsman, a general, a cupbearer, a doctor, a tax collector, and a rabbi. Without contradicting one another, each author wrote on the common theme of God’s enduring love for mankind, and God’s redeeming plan of salvation through His Son - Jesus Christ.
    *
Unlike the Quran written in a period of about 23 years in Mohammed’s native tongue (the Quraishi dialect and then translated into the Arabic language), the forty plus different authors of the Bible were moved by the Spirit of God to write down truths about God in their own ways of thinking, in their own ways of understanding, and in their own ways of reasoning truths. Each author also wrote down the truths of God in his own style of compositions - be it essay, music, or poetry.
    *
Critics of the Bible claimed the Bible contains contradictions. How? - Because two different authors living hundreds and hundreds of years apart on two different continents, and whose writing styles (essay, music, or poetry) in two different languages did not use the same word or phrase to describe the same event. How ridiculous the claim!

Chris, you are wrong about the verse 10:16. The two recitations are not contradictory.
    The first recitation means:
"Had Allah willed, i would not have read it to you, nor would Allah have informed you about it"
    The second recitation is:
"Had Allah willed, I (myself) would not have read it to you, and He would have informed you about it (via somebody else)."
Both recitations are complimentary because the verse starts off with "Had Allah willed"; hence BOTH of Allah's choices are mentioned.
I.e. had Allah willed, then x, or if He willed otherwise, then y.
    This is NOT a contradiction.

There are no contradictions in the Quran. You only have confusion because of your ill intentions and inadequate knowledge of the Arabic language.
Maalik is the original recitation; Malik was given in additional recitations to Prophet Muhammed by Angel Gabrial. Hence both are authentic & preserved. This is in chapter 1, it has 7 verses, 29 words, and 139 letters in it.
You just check the precision-construction of this chapter by God, almighty, who has left some signs for us to reflect:
    7 + (2+9) + (1+3+9) = 31
1st words of all the verses have a total of 31 letters
2nd words of all the verses have a total of 31 letters
3rd words of all the verses have a total of 31 letters
Allah’s name is mentioned 6 times in this chapter, using a total of 31 letters
If you go to 31st chapter (it has 34 verses) of the Quran, it starts by saying 3 letters, i.e. Alif, Lam, Meem (it’s not a word, just 3 letters)
The first letter “Alif” is used 31 times in the first words of all 34 verses in total.
The first letter “Alif” is used 31 times in the second words of all 34 verses in total.
The second letter “lam” is used 16 times in the first words of all 34 verses in total.
The second letter “lam” is used 16 times in the second words of all 34 verses in total.
This kind of precision construction of statements is impossible today, but the Quran was given 14 centuries ago, and revealed spoken form. Many of these verses were revealed at different times in different orders. Prophet Muhammed will just say, this verse goes to this chapter before or after this verse. Once said, a verse has never been revised or edited. People around him will memorize it.
The Quran is the word of God. Be sincere, open your heart, and read it yourselves.
Showing enmity to God or his words or to his guidance will not help you, as we are all going to die one day and will be judged.

malik and maalik is a perfect example of the wisdom of qiraat. The arabic language is not like english i don't know if you took linguistics, but morphology is huge in arabic. Words enriched through extra vowels or short vowels and stuff. Malik means king, Maalik means owner. And these two meanings are not different they are complementary. That's something you won't find in any other book.

    • @toddbeamer6131
      @toddbeamer6131 5 месяцев назад

"complementary" They are two different words with two different meanings. They alter the meaning and theology of the entire sentence. A King is a very different type of person compared to a mere owner. It also begs the question about the vowel markings being errors (a simple dot difference), particularly given that the original arabic had no vowel markings and that the vowel marking conventions were added at abmuch later date. Then we have the usual excuse that verbal recitation made any corruption impossible yet such a difference in word sound should have easily been detected and avoided. It wasn't. The quran says it is protected from any corruption yet Uthman eliminated all variants except the version he chose. Who gave him that right? After his standardisation there should have been no variants at all - not because of anything stated in the quran but because Uthman destroyed all earlier texts and commanded that his standardised version be distributed to all major islamic cities. The Malik/Maalik difference is only one of tens of thousands amongst all the different arabic qurans.
