I must thank you that you didn't ruin the video with music. It feels like everybody is spamming their videos with annoying music tracks. Now with your video I get a real vacation trip. Thanks again!
You always have such great information, Amy! Good to know that you don't have to be bullied into thinking your options are limited. Thanks! I will certainly remember this when we go to Costa Maya.
definitely the prettiest port area i have ever seen!!
That port was stunning. That was crazy about them trying to insist you get off at the first stop I'm glad you stood your ground. That looked like a fun area. It's pretty there. I would love to get to explore with y'all
Great video! Good to know about the cheap tram you can take to the beach and to stay on till the last stop!
BTW, there is a "short cut" a gate by the fake mountain/photo op place..leads to cabs, buses, golf carts
Thanks ladies for an honest and informative video. You two are adorable! Great mother daughter team!
I'm pretty sure the guy said 'snack corn'.... it's elote loco, corn on the cob with seasoning and cheese, you'd love it if you like corn.
It’s corn lol!! Those are very favorite they cover it with butter, Parmesan cheese, chili pepper, & mayonnaise so good!!! 🌽
The actual name for it is called Elote and it's not Parmesan cheese ... it's cotija Mexican cheese and yes you're right ... it's the bomb!!
lynnarro yup but in Los Angeles they put Parmesan cheese
I think he said it was snack corn. :) My wife and I will be there early 2021, and are contemplating our options at Costa Maya. Not sure whether we'll hang out at the port area, or take the shuttle to the main street. Thanks for the great overview. :)
Hi! I’m from cancun and I love your cruise vlogs, Disney vlogs, and anything you do lol. I believe you would love to come and visit cancun we have so many activities for all of you like Xplor, Xcaret and more! Keep doing vlogs and please say hi to Elizabeth!
good for you minara, I hate Dolphin captivity, people really should know better by now. Great Video Amy
I remember that long walk in all that heat!
So fun to experience explore new stuff adventures so fun I love your videos
Thanks for the info about going to the end of the beach. We wanted to get WiFi on a beach but were short of time so we got off at the first stop which was really busy and WiFi was practically non existent.
Taxi is $2 per person. The cruise port trolley which own by the cruise ship companies charges $3 per person and it takes forever to get to the beach. Do yourself a favor, use Taxi and pay $2 instead of $3 for trolley. Btw, Jamie at the Blue Reefs is a Great Host. We spent an entire day there and enjoyed great food and drinks. He treated us like his family!
09G8GT great tip! What is the last stop called? Ty
Beata Collazo
To be honest, I don't know the name of the stop, the wife and I got out of the cruise port gate and hop on a taxi and went straight to Jamie's blue reef. I think the last stop is near there. Just tell the taxi driver where you want to go and they will take you there. Have a good time!
Merry Christmas Amy, Elizabeth, Trevon, Zarius, Mahnara and Dad...
Thank you, I love your videos 😍
Hiiiii just left your Norwegian Escape group vlog to come watch this then I'm goin back to finish it for the THIRD time, ummmm YES it's my FAV ❤🛳 & I also despise Dolphin captivity 😡👎
When we were in the Bahamas we went to a protected area for dolphins where they're not exposed to too many humans or intruded on, which really allowed me to enjoy the experience of swimming with them. I would never go to Atlantis or any aquarium to interact with these creatures, because these people handling the animals are subjecitng them to an unrealistic environment. Whenever there is something with animals as an attraction, I always make sure to choose the most humane and environmentally safe option for the animal. We recently also went to Charleston. Many people do carriage rides and I was VERY against them because in the summer, many horses from certain companies collapse due to being overworked. I found and chose a very humane, reliable company and it was a wonderful experience. Our driver was trained specifically to handle horses and it was all around amazing. There are definitely ways to enjoy attractions through humane companies and experts! Very happy to see more and more humane animal businesses popping up!
oh ya side stalls in Mexico you can haggle with if its a established bissnuis in like a building then you cant but if its a table on the side of the road or both you can haggle
This will be our next port thank you for the tour
I fully blame you for my serious need to cruise. I've never been on one and I'm trying to pay off all my debt but I NEED to go on one! lol
We went back in May, it was our first cruise & when we got engaged!
You were lucky. I went on C Magic recently. It was the last port with beautiful day after having heavy rain in Cozumel, Mahogany, and not so much in Belize. We docked early in the morning departing by 2:00 PM. I believe. The NCL Getaway was there too. I went to the port area around 10:30 AM, people were still coming out of both ships and you couldn't walk on the port area. The swimming pool (not even half of the one they have in Grand Turk) couldn't take anybody else and all the lounge chairs were taken. It was awful and as you are showing the village is not a must see. Beach is definitely not Cancun quality. Even the beaches in the island of Cozumel are better. Personally, I was really disappointed, they need to expand, invest on the development of the village, and look for better beaches nearby (let's remember that even Cancun is kind of "man made").
14:02 😂🤣😂 "Come over for one Mexican minute" Seriously though this is a valuable video. Thanks
Rice milk is very good! It’s called orchata in Spanish.
I love rice milk!
Rented a golf cart, went down the "side streets" just a couple blocks from the beach is extreme poverty. Wood shacks made of old signs, rain barrels for water, no electricity, night and day in 2 blocks.
I was wondering the name of the all inclusive resort that you couldn't get into because it was full? We will be there in February and wouldn't mind checking it out. Thanks! Great video by the way!
I was trying to find the name too. I went there in September. It was $69 and not worth it. You do get free chairs and shade but the drinks are watered down and there is no all-you-can eat anything. The beach had some seaweed/sea grass but was not horrible. It wasn't worth the price. I am so glad that I saw this video. I now know that there are better options. I sail this weekend.
Was it really easy to get cab on way back? I didn't see cabs on street. Asking in case we run short on time back to port
Thanks for your video! Where does the shuttle take passengers? Is there a site with more information or do you just get on and pay when you get there? Thanks!
did that guy lick narloa her hand yuk :O :O :( also i glade you 2 went that last place look around RR :)
No he didn't, he just asked if he could lol
IM EARLY!
ok ty
No snorkelling / kayaking / swimming?
What is your favorite spot in costa maya? Thank you! How much was the taxi to go back to the port?
We went again last week and the boardwalk in town is nice. Just be careful where you dine -- make sure to check prices first because we were almost scammed last week. Taxi back to port is $2pp
Sea Cruisers great feedback, thank you so much!! The best videos! So original and so real!
We got a direct hit from hurricane Irma
What is the name of the restaurant
What does the sign Manara make mean? I am really curious!
