Nice drive. I've driven it a couple of times when going to Nantahela Outdoor Center. It's a long ride back though.
I loved this video. We just want tell you both how much we enjoy watching you and Dawn. You all will relish the memories when you get old of being together and enjoying each other's company while having fun. My husband and I are 66 years young and truly enjoy each other and love trying new experiences. I'm gonna do zipping this year when we come back.
My son and I did that road several years ago in our minivan and had no problems. We have a 4WD now. Can’t wait to get back to the Smokies. We just finished up the northern section of the Trans Wisconsin Adventure Trail.

Back in the 90's we took one of the one way primitive roads in Coves Road. If it is the one you are on, boy has it improved. The one we did was just a pig trail. We always stayed in Townsend at the Tally Ho and ate at the little restaurant beside the motel. We always had the same waitress too, she would tell us about teaching her kids to drive on that pig trail. Thank ya.ll for showing this video. Cades Cove is one of my favorite places, can spend hours there.

The little yellow jeep is a special part of the channel. It does have its own fan club. I loved the drive through. We have never seen that part of Cades Cove. Thank you for taking us along. The wildflowers were beautiful. The bear clubs were a real treat to see.

Very nice video. Thanks for making this and sharing. I haven't been on Parson's Branch since like the late 90s. I was young and more daring and drove my family through in a minivan (not in a storm). God Bless you guys.
That off-road area looks like the place where movies like, 'Pumpkin head', 'Wrong Turn' and 'Food of the Gods' were filmed. I was waiting for a gaggle of hillbillies to come running out of that treeline! LOL! Great video, BTW.

My wife and I went on this 8-22. We have a 2015 Jeep Cherokee and I was nervous driving. Definitely some spots I had to go slow to navigate around holes and rocks. I was wishing we had a Jeep like yours. And then we were on the Tail of the Dragon! A stressful day for me!

Loved this!! Ty so much! I will definitely be heading to that cabin next time I get there. I am an hour from Myrtle Beach. On my way down there last week, I saw a HUGE dead black bear on the side of the road.😔 There was another one that a car hit in Brunswick County a few days earlier 500 lbs.! Google it! That bear was huge! I would have rather seen them alive. The area is growing & the poor things have no where to go. At least in the Cove, they are safe! Tfs! Blessings!

Glad to see you guys got to travel Parson Branch. I’ve been on it a couple times now. The first time (I did a video that day) was when it first open. At that time the road was pretty smooth but the water crossings were a lot deeper. The second time the road was a bit rougher, but the water crossings were almost nonexistent. It’s one of my favorite drives now, and will do it again soon. Take care you two! 👍🏻
