Quận 4 với giòng lịch sử của nó, trong quá khứ là nguy hiểm, nhưng đó là những năm trước 2000, bây giờ Quận tư an toàn, hiện đại và văn minh như bao quận, huyện khác ở HCM.
Watching from California, USA. It's so cool that you know some Vietnamese phrases, it's so helpful!! I'm sure the Vietnamese will appreciate and will show extra attn for you if you need it. This is my first time being recommended your channel so I'm excited to watch the rest of your Vietnam journey and maybe other adventures as well. There's so much good food to eat in Vietnam, my favorites are: - Bun Thit Nuong (southern style) / bun cha (northern style) - Banh Xeo - Banh Beo - multiple varieties of Banh Mi: ga cha bong (chicken floss), ga nuong (grilled chicken), ga xe (shredded chicken), pate, thit nuong (grilled pork), cha lua (pork ham), xiu mai (meatballs), bi (shredded pork skin), chung (fried egg), and many more too many options lol - Nem nuong cuon (grilled pork springroll) - Com Tam (rice plates with your choice of proteins and addons) - Bo Kho (beef stew) - Ca Ri (vietnamese curry) - Mi Hoanh Thanh (vietnamese version of wonton noodle soup)
Melbourne Australia, district 4 was only dangerous in the late 80’s with Vietnamese mafia, all good now and one of the best food areas in Saigon and the alley you went down was home to the most dangerous mafia boss lol 😊
Don't sweat it! All the alleyways of cities in Vietnam are safe and not as dangerous as you might think. We've never heard or seen any foreigners getting robbed in the alleyways.
Another favorite street food of mine is pho. Pho is a traditional Vietnamese noodle soup made with beef or chicken broth, rice noodles, thinly sliced beef or chicken, and herbs. This is a hearty and flavorful dish, perfect for chilly days.
@@NahanaYT q4 was dangerous for a while when the mafia were running it. But that hasn't been the case since they executed Nam Cam back in '04. After that, it was the Pham The Hien area in q8 that was a bit lively. But that also got cleaned up over a decade ago. If you are looking for dangerous these days, there isn't much left but there's a few streets in q5/6, q10 and Hoc Mon that are spicier than the rest of the city
