I just bought a super light. Recently I've been using the Zowie ec2-b I think and it's been great, but my brother told me how much he likes his new super light so decided to give it a go. It's definitely so much smaller and lighter. Just have to get used to it I guess, but I did like the Zowie a lot

i personally enjoy symetrical mices more than any other, my all time favourite being a simple steelseries sensei raw from 2013 that i gave to my brother because the dpi cap was hurting my more modern and higher dpi capable mices but i am considering getting an upgraded version of the same mouse, i currently have the evga x12, the razer viper 8k and a logitech g305 and a mastermouse mm711, even the weird steelseries warcraft, but my favourite shape is still the sensei raw, the ergonomics and the texture makes lets my overworked wrist enjoy active resting when i get home.

Just bought a gpro wireless for 70€. And it's definitely worth it (for that price), the build is solid, the skates are solid, the shape is really good. Compared to g305 it's night and day difference, you can notice the wight and build difference, also the sensor feels so much snappier, the buttons are also a lot better. My only gripe would be the rubber pattern on the scroll wheel and the full price. But if you can get one at a discount, you should definitely pick one up.

Different grip styles and grip width make mouse weight feel different. More surface contact on the mouse make the mouse feel lighter. Narrower shapes make the mouse feel heavier.

I bought it at a discount at Best Buy $110, which is actually pretty decent for a high quality wireless mouse. I used to love the Deathadder V2 and V3, and while I still consider the Deathadder my go-to for gaming mice in terms of overall shape and design, I'm LOVING the G Pro. The Superlight might have its improvements in terms of weight and some subtle difference in tech, but comparing specs-wise I just couldn't justify spending the extra $40 they wanted for it those newer iterations. I will say that with the super light weight of the Deathadder V3 compared to the G Pro, the G Pro does feel noticably heavier, and there's certainly some weight to the mouse itself, but I actually think this is a good thing compared to super lightweight mice, especially as it comes to fine-tuning aim in FPS games that require pixel-accuracy like Siege. The added weight and super sensitive sensor which does register subtle movements means that I can really guide the cursor/reticle exactly where it needs to be without overcorrecting as might happen with a lighter mouse like the ultra-lightweight Deathadder V3.

  • @iitsMikeB

I completely agree with your take on the weight. The fact of the matter is that the norms started shifting rapidly once the ultralight/superlight mice started coming out, and have done so even more with the hyperlight mice (under 50 grams). I'm a big fan of the GPX, and I could honestly still go back to my old G703 Hero, and it wouldn't feel heavy at all. This whole new "paradigm" in terms of light gaming mice unfortunately ends up undermining a very important factor when it comes to peripherals: Subjectivity. There is this silly idea that everyone has to get a glass pad and glass skates so that the mouse accelerates on its own. The reality is that it is subjective, and that it is important to understand that everyone has different needs and different ideas of what is best for them. Even if (hypothetically speaking) everyone could adapt and learn to use a glass mousepad with glass skates on a mouse that has more holes in it than a swiss cheese, doesn't mean that everyone should.
Anyways, like I said above, I agree with you when it comes to the weight of the GPW.

I am going to upgrade to g pro wireless from a 100g hyperX mouse and while I do expect to feel some difference in weight I don't think a difference in less than 50+ grams can be easily noticeable and impactful at all. So the difference between Superlight and the original version is almost non-existing objectively. How weak you need to be to feel a 17 grams difference after 10 seconds of using each mouse? Your sens must be really low to actually go for such price increase just to get rid of 17 grams and think that it's gonna do something to your aim.

As a left handed mouse user this is probably still the best mouse on the market for us. I'll most likely buy a spare just because of how good they are compared to every other mouse I've tried in the last 2 decades. The battery life is crazy, I can go 2 weeks easily without charging it(I use the pc a good 15+ hours a day, everyday). It charges in under 20 minutes(least it feels like it, I've never timed it) to full and then you're good another 2 weeks.
Apparently there is a naga or whatever that's left handed on the market. I never could find one here in Australia and even if I could, it'd be a learning curve not worth investing in if you're already used to keybinds in mmo's and they are muscle memory and just want right side buttons on your mouse. If that's you, just buy this mouse.

It is definitely a good mouse for normal gamers today, but there is a lot more options which are more suitable for FPS gamers other than this one.

Hi, I am currently looking for a new mouse. Do you have any tips? Since this one according to you, isn't that suitable for FPS. Thanks!

no idea what you on about mate, but 80g is clearly not light. the sweetspot lies arguably between 60-70g to have the best handling and stability.
