The new tap is a game changer, no more "fire-extinguisher" pours and easy to dismatle for cleaning. The lack of nurling on its predecessor was a big problem for me. Well done to the design team!

I'm so happy you listened to the feedback! I'm thrilled there is knurling on the tap! I'm sure all your lovely wizardry does excellent things the lack of grip was my biggest pet peeve!
Looks like a solid piece of kit and can't wait to try it!

My pinter 3 stopped pouring after 2 1/2 pints. Very frustrating. What is the problem??

It certainly looks good but does it actually work? If so it is about time! The last two taps on pinter 1 and pinter 2 were basically rubbish. I gave up using my pinter 2 after just one brew because of the rubbish tap. Frankly this should be a free replacement for Pinter 2 owners

Never had a decent pour from my P2 as clearly it was flawed from the start and now you want me to pay more.

I see a lot of complaints like this from people. I don't know if it's water supply or fermentation temperature that's ruining brews but I've never had a bad one. The only complain I have it the hopping oils didn't go into the pinter with one brew and dribbled out the back when conditioning because they were quite thick after being in the fridge....solution is obvious for that. I know for a lot of people they just get glasses of head and it's because the tube in the spout is kinked and when they open it up the tube stays depressed......solution is to get a chopstic in there and gently pull the tube down a bit and it should work properly. This new tap solves the only real problem I have had which is very slow pours because of reducing CO2, but I usually use the final pour position after the first few pints to overcome that anyway. Theoretically the new tap should make the beer last longer as it gives control over how much CO2 to release.

@@Marrow452 The beer is fine, the tap is the problem. It is not kinked, after the first glass or two you have to go full 90 and open the valve. This is not what we were promised.

Will there be a trade in for the P2.1 taps?

still using white metal inside? That seems to be where my failures in current Pinter2 taps happens. The metal simply snaps.
