Thanks for sharing that story, Bruce. What an awesome trip that must have been. I had a similar experience in SF but it was in 2005. Worst day to wear shorts because at night it was frigid. It felt like February even though it was late May.

Really enjoyed your story, Bruce! Willie was my hero as a kid, and I never saw him play live. I lived in Pasadena (LA area), so I could only see him occasionally on TV or listen to Vin Scully on the radio. I could feel your pain, as you described freezing at Candlestick. Just subscribed. Enjoyed the story, Bruce! I only went to games in the new stadiums in SF and Oakland. Both were somewhat chili when we were there, and we were warned about the climate, so we brought coats.
