Uploads have been on point lately so happy for you and your many new accomplishments, we love and support you always, keep up the great videos, hope all’s well on your end, have a great day love!!!❤️🥰
Make Melissa as an inspiration to live a healthy life (it does not mean that you need waist trainer just to say that your healthy) I’m talking about how Melissa inspires me in being more productive and to eat healthy foods especially during this pandemic💖 keep healthy people. She just wants to share her experiences. You guys learn how to love yourself and not to be intimidated or jealous to our influencers💖 spread the positivity guys!💖
I’ve seen other youtubers/bloggers say the same thing about how people get upset when they mention they are starting a fitness challenge or wearing a waist trainer.. In the end this is YOUR channel and it’s vlogs of YOUR lift that we CHOOSE to watch. Obesetobeast said it best.. it is not your fault how other people feel about your content. Especially when you aren’t promoting or doing anything wrong. ❤️
We have an Ulta right next door to HomeGoods to where I live. And I think I’ve seen that at another shopping center too. I wonder if that’s a Florida thing. I’ve worked for HomeGoods for a few months but never realized it till now. But I don’t remember hearing anything like that. I just know HG, TJ Maxx , and Marshall’s are all affiliated. I love my earrings that I bought from Sun Bunny. I’m just waiting for the quilted crossbody bag to be restocked. 😀 Thanks for the video!
Really enjoy your videos! I think you're approaching your fitness challenge in a way that works for you..and it's your life! Look forward to seeing how it goes :)
Hi Melissa, I'm glad you talked about your viewers' concerns regarding the waist training! Of course you would never actively promote a certain body image one is supposed to have. But I hope you do realise that you still leave impressions. It all seems so easy for you. You're already in a great shape, and you're going to the gym, using the waist trainer, trying to eat healthily. As if it were no significant effort. My younger self would have felt so bad, so ugly, unhealthy, and weak after watching you effortlessly pull this through. And even though I am a lot more comfortable in my body now than I was in my teens, I still feel a little sting when I see that a slim woman is setting goals as yours. You deserve to be proud of yourself, of course, and being healthy and exercising regularly is so important to one's health. But this contrast of you being proud and oneself feeling bad, ashamed or unworthy, that is a tough thing to bear. Maybe this can help you to a better understanding of your viewers' concerns :)
I got my glasses from there! I’m so glad I didn’t get them from the eye doctor store because they were REDICULOUS in price!! I’ll always shop from glasses USA!
Not long ago you were commented that your contacts were really bothering your eyes. I'm a retired optician and that's not a good sign if thye sued to be comfortable to wear and now their not. You said at that time that you were going to be wearing glasses from that point on. But in looking at you You Tube video caps you seem to be wearing contacts much more often than glasses. You look amazing wearing glasses and their so much better for your eye health than contacts. No maintenance is needed when you wear glasses except maybe clean them if something gets on them but so much easier than contacts. No risk of falling asleep with your contacts still on. Haven't you heard that wearing glasses has become extremely popular with young ladies your age? Have you not seen the racks of fake glasses at the local boutiques. They wouldn't have those fake glasses even in their store if they weren't selling quite few pairs of them. If you only had one pair of glasses to wear then I would understand that it's no fun when you have to wear the same glasses everyday because it doesn't make changing your look very easy wearing the same glasses. But you have a number of really cute glasses and you are even making sure to get different styles and colors so they look completely different on you. If you even found one guy that would say that he doesn't like how you look wearing glasses, first of all he clearly needs glasses way more than you do and secondly he's not worth you time anyway. Remember another nice thing about wearing glasses is how easily they can be taken off. By you or by someone else.
Can you do a video on how you and chad (as an unmarried couple) do finances and budget since you guys own a house together? I’m curious how you guys do it ❤️
I've received a lot of questions about this! I'll talk to chad about it and see if he's up for it 💞 It's been a learning process. But Chad is a financial expert he's the master behind keeping track of our finances.
While you’re not technically “promoting” the waist trainer, girls seeing an already thin women like yourself wanting to lose inches off your waist can be harmful to their body image. They might feel like if they are any bigger than you, they should also be wanting to lose inches off of their waist and could go about than in a very unhealthy way. Just something to consider
I see your point of view. I think I’ve addressed that my goal isn’t to make any woman feel like she needs to lose weight or use a waist trainer. I hope you guys will realize that me trying waist training is just in addition to my already healthy habits/lifestyle. I don’t know what else to say, but appreciate your point of view.
@@xomelissalucy I think its less about your intentions and more about your actions. You have a responsibility as an influencer to know that what you show influences younger people even if you say I’m not trying to promote this ... I just don’t think it’s very responsible especially for impressionable kids
@@izzakhan7971 she is just talking about her life and her goals, any one with any body could say that and people will take it in a million different ways. Just bc she is thin doesn’t mean she automatically thinks she has the perfect body and doesn’t need to change, everyone has insecurities. Yes I agree 100% eating disorders is a huge issue and is very dangerous but that’s not what she is promoting and never said “you guys should try this with me”
Izza Khan she can post whatever she wants that makes her happy. Some people might also want to know how it works or if it works doesn't mean as soon as we see her with a waist trainer we think omg I'm ordering one right now too! Some people need to chill out for real. People can make their own decision and as for young girls who might be watching that's their parents responsibility of what their children see not Melissa's.
Ok i love your channel and I really enjoy your videos but please do not promote a waist trainer again. Waist trainers are very baby for your body and terrible to promote to other people. Trying to mold your body into another shape is not healthy. This can move and damage muscles and internal organs. And especially promoting them to people that may not be aware of the dangers is super inappropriate. You may not feel like your promoting it but as an influencer talking about really anything you talk about is influential whether it’s on purpose or not. Molding your body with a corset is very damaging. This can even reshape your ribs which serve a huge purpose in protecting vital organs. So if you want to lose a few inches that is not the way. You are not losing fat or weight weight in that area your moving around your insides. It’s one thing to throw on those little neoprene waist trimmers to get a little extra sweat on but waist trainers are NOT healthy.
I'm still feeling a little concerned with the way you're approaching this 'fitness journey'. You clearly had an intense strenght workout and then you casually say you're skipping lunch...and your dinner looked so small 🥺 It just seems that you were eating in a pretty high calorie deficit this day, especially when you're also weight training. Obviously you don't show every second of your day (and so i assume we don't see everything you eat, for example your breakfast this day) just hope you're doing okay ♥
I’m loving the frequent uploads 💕
Girl, please continue to share your fitness challenge. You're being healthy about it so you're not promoting anything bad.
I agree! She def motivates me to get up and get going!
