The song is about the message. I’m bummed people dont prioritize that or pick up on it and want him to just be silly like in Houdini. He is putting a spotlight on Detroit, sharing it with two younger Detroit rappers, their verses support his whole point about being a goat lifting up those coming behind him, generational representation, getting recognition, making Detroit a hip hop competitor, finally giving up the humble thing and saying what he really feels about his rank next to other rappers. This is a great combo of topics.
I think most have started figuring it out finally by now, but a “kid” is a baby goat. And a “spitfire” is a war plane.

This is a full circle video and a statement lokey to the industry from Detroit. They’re obliquely saying they’re 3 generations of rap Gods. The best was lokey and did fit what they were going for down to the outfits and the direction of the video.
