I have a fireblade and i found this strangely entertaining
Haha i used have an 06 zx10r but way back when i only had a cbt i used to think these bikes were great lol how wrong was i
Me too
😂
I've got a new aprilia rs4 and I'm absolutely in love with it had a yam before and hated every minute of it. But each to their own
*Thanks guys, can't seem to get a bloody simple straight answer off the internet anymore,* *very helpful. Nice1.*
YES, finally! Been waiting for this for ages, thanks!
funny how they said the rieju is pretty poor but now it's one of the best 125cc in their recent magazine
Daniel Ackerley I like the look of it
Finally, I was waiting for a 125 video for a logn time now!
I had the yamaha for a year and I loved it. It took me to college and work through all weather and I passed my mod 1 and 2 on it. Then in the summer I went on a capping trip in the south west with my mate. So really the bike does it all.
I own 2019 Aprilia rs4 125cc for 2yrs now and I’m so happy about this little beauty it’s cheap to run, looks nice handles nice and still can do 70 mph easily !!!!
solid video and review... minus the wind noise...
much better than the last effort i.e. suzuki V-strom vs rivals.
this was awesome thanks, just make them longer please? approx. 11-18 minutes?
Back in the 90 in italy we had 125 2stroke with about 35hp it was Aprilia Rs , Cagiva Mito, Gilera SP1 ...we where only sixteen and it was great...
16 on a 125 cc 🤔really???
Superb vid. 👍
it's like watching a race in slow motion😂😂
Is there an up to date version of this video?
Thank you for the help =)
The best thing about the old 2-strokes is you could derestrict it while still on your CBT and I knew nobody that got caught, but on these things you're stuck with that weedy power output.
BRING BACK 2 STROKES!
LOVE THE SMELL, LOVE THE SOUND, LOVE THE ENGINE!
The 2 stroke rs4 50 kills the rs4 125 4 stroke easy.
@@zoubeirxd7770 sadly true haha
@@zoubeirxd7770 derestricted yes. But the 125 derestricted will outrun a piddly 50cc lol
@@JDMz i believe a fully build 50cc as for example malossi team racing kit 80 kills the 125cc 4 stroke unrestricted on a 400-600m only then on 6th gear the 125 win
yea thats true but fixing it is part of the fun, you get to know your bike and you stay with it through it's bad times and its great times
yea i agree...i have a hard time understanding how the new restrictions are so harsh..
When on small displacements the extra bang goes a long way!
Thanks for a nice review.
I`m looking for a bike for my daugther and this video helped.
Build quality matters for the one that has to pay ;o)
Doing my A1 next year and trading in my CBF for a YZF hopefully :D
Which one of these would be best for Dual Carriage way riding?
Love the vids guys, but the wind noise in the recording is simply unacceptable!!!
HELP! I need a faster bike for Uni as i will be doing dual carriageway riding and aswell as inner city riding. I currently have a Honda cbf 125 and will be doing my A1 this following year. The CBFs lovely but will only cruise at 60 and that doesn't fill me with confidence as i fear it will harm the engine if its done on a long trip. What 125cc would be best considering speed and the fact in 6ft 2inch. Any suggestions or advice?
To be honest that's one of the best things about two strokes. Is their insane powerband. It's like saying you'd rather have a non turbo car over a turbo'd one.
Would have been good to see a CBF 125 or YBR 125 in there as well to see the difference between the budget commuters and these bikes that are nearly double their price
They all blew up on the way to the test :P
I got myself And rs4125 about two years Ago and the thing just falls to pieces. thats when it doesnt blow over in the wind because of the useless stand.
I had one For 3 weeks.. Garbage.. Sold it done my test 2 months ago.. Now on a ninja.. Does in 1st what that done top end
Man this motorcycles look so cool. i wish they would sell them in the US i'm stuck between the ninja and the cbr, they're pretty cool but i like the aprilia rs4 125 more than any of the 250s.
Needed a Cagiva Mito for some 2stroke goodness.
does any1 know....is the yzf r125 good as a first bike cause i wanna get a bike soon but dont know
@1990SimS So true my friend, going to buy a brand new rs in February, hopefully there are some still around (y)
It's not just the top end that two strokes benefit from. Setup correctly they also have lots more power in the bottom end.
Good video.
I'd suggest looking into a 2009 Aprillia rs125. 2 stroke. My one hits just over 100mph on a straight. Great little bike
read about this in this weeks edition!
MCN showing how to ride responsibly :D
I want to get a honda cbr jc50 but is it crazy when i am 1.90m high? :-D sry for my eng.. I am from germany thx for answer
I just bought a yzf r125 last week. thats the yamaha if you didnt know. and i loooove it... its a 2009 and its just fantastic. i bought mine for about 1800 pounds, or well actually 20 000 swedish crowns because i live in sweden.... lol
I would imagine it's not so much about performance, as it is about fun on those little things.
Got the Honda cbr 125r and I can get up to 85 stock
Bunch of bollocks mate lol. You sound like the typical 125 chav yeah yeah my bike goes 85 - 90
Mr Panter search it up on YT all the proof is there
Mr Panter ruclips.net/video/KRkrOJOIZUU/видео.html
@@Kyrpptic your correct my mistake lol. One big issue that 85mph takes forever to get to and I'm pretty sure that it's not good for your engine lol. Sounds terrible sitting at 10.500 rpm
Mr Panter agreed in now have a 636 but my 125 was fun
@1990SimS true, but they only get fast enough to overtake me when they've been modded!
WHICH IS BETTER SO?
Is the rieju standard in this vid
Wanted an rs4, got an RX 125 ... it's reliable, easy to mantain and delivers a good amount of power. I regret nothing.
Oi! Could anyone tell me what is name of song starting at 0:48? Thanks! :)
I'm not into all these 4 stroke 125 'Sport' bikes, much rather just get myself a 05-08 4 stroke supermoto, probably slightly slower but I'd save loads of money and I'll be doing my test soon after! Win - Win.
whats the name of music at 3:30
Ok..tnx :P
Reminds me of the days when i rode a moped and there was eight of us. Looked like you all had a laugh...
whats the song/music that starts @ 2:48...
anyone..!!??
I'd like to hear you say that when all that's left of me is the two stroke fumes after I've left you at the lights.
what about the daelim roadwin fi or R ? cheap and fast
so im 17 and i'll have to do another test to get a 125?
CBF125 or CBR125R after just passing a CBT any help?
So which one should I buy? The yamaha or aprilia??
is the older r 125s faster than the brand new 1s or something?
Charlie smith old 125cc's were 2 strokes, new emissions regulations means they're 4 stroke and slower
I have a rieju rs3 50 and the build quality and handling are great. My only gripe is the fuel tank isn't metal but that's not much of an issue really
Amplified Gamer what idiot moans about not having a metal petrol tank??? That's a good thing and if you think the rejues (i can't spell) are nice then wait till you can get on an aprilia.
@@willsherriff3711 aprilia don’t have the best of quality in my experience
anyone knw the song at 2:49??
Yamaha's built quality is really impressive, I remmember when I had Suzuki GSXR 600 SRAD for a year and I thought it was real good, then I got a year older 99 R6 and the difference in build quality was immense, yamaha is impresive.
im stuck on what bike I want I really want the aprilia rs4 125 but also want the Yamaha yzf r125 can I have some opinions on what you think of both bikes anyone
i live down in swansea, i have a cbr125 2012 , lets just say it gets me from a to b and the rest :)
those dainese suits are f. awesome
it kinda is, just only in some countries i realized that germany for example got a different system then denmark where i live, but all countries have a 125 cc max class, which makes my comment valid for the question.
I have got the cbr and it's fantastic
what about the GPR ?
How could I get one of these bikes in the United States with out paying a fortune to get it shipped over seas?
I want buy one
Aprilla or Yamaha?
The comment got removed what did it say?
I have my r125 86mph most day is doesn't even struggle unless there's high wind so i don't know were they got 79mph from?
Rider weight or speedo ain't calibrated right on one of the bikes
Yeah i would say so its an unfair test unless they are all brand new bikes worn in on dyno and the same rider each time
Hold on aint the Rieju got the exact same engine as the yzf?
If you close your eyes it sounds like a lawnmower race! lol
I Have A Rieju Rs2 50, And Max Speed On Mine is 63mph Flat And Other Then That I Think It's The Best 50cc About Its A Sick Bike, Great Bike For A 16 Year Old Bigginer My First Ever Time On A Bike Was This I've Been Riddin 5 Months And Im Doing Great On It. Rieju All The Way;))
Depends where you live but just check in a local dealership, generally I know the hondas around 3400, the yammy is closer to 4.5k,
@laconchtumare thats all that's in there and it's a 4stroke?
Just brought a 2013 Cbr125r best bike by far in my opinion
These bikes seem to be a little bit small, and the rider seems quite large on them.
which of these is the biggest bike, and which is the second biggest, im 6ft3 and 18 stone. DENCH. What bike do you suggest?
2900£ not bad ,in Finland yzf-r125 with +4000km cost about 2600€ :D
It is what it is. The Honda is the best to learn on so if u get a 125 then u have Prob passed your cbt. U need to know what u r doing before getting a fast bike. The Honda does have good build quality. Mine is a 2008 that sits outside. No rust. Hope this helps?
Accelaration is way more steady too
But which one is the fastest?
good for you then, in Hungary you can do full licence when you are 24
im 5'10,.do you think this bike fit for me,.and im 23 years old,.2 and half years experience of riding,.will i get bored of thos cbr?,.i ride 110cc motorcycle,.thanks in advance
Well yeah, but there are people that are more worried about it's consume and the money that you spend repairing, than the power at all.
I must admit 4 strokes are slow. But with 300 euros you can upgrade to 184cc and you can't compare to the r125 original power. It gets a good boost
I'm talking about the yamaha yzf r125 btw, aftermarket stuff come from Itally so it's expensive. Idk about the others
@9andrei2 i mean the slowest from the other 125 4stroke understand?
The aprilia should be quickest for being two-stroke?
what are these bikes like for pillion passengers? (obviously not amazing but how impractical is it)
i thought the new aprillia rs 125s where still 2 stroke or is the rs4 a totally different bike?
at last the rs4. first im a bit sad the dont produce the 2 stroke anymore because it was the best 125cc bike for bikers wo wanna have fun) but ok. the rs4 has the best forks and spring leg (?) and the best breaks. it looks pretty cool and the engine is ok. it also offers most to the customer, a speedshifter bigger tieres (what is important for 16 years old guys^^) and it only has 1 seat (maybe a special edition) but u only need one, its a bike for 1person who knows what he/she wants and can do
ni que lo digas! yo la tengo 1 mes y medio y va de vicio! tiene un silencioso IXIL y disco de freno delanero wave! ;)
how come you only got your aprilia to 75 mph, when I've reached 80 mph with mine?
@Reincarnhate925 just looked on the aprilia website and they are still making the 2 stroke one
What about the Derbi GPR 125? It beats all of these!
I guess that would be "safer" But still, As long as you're not starting on a liter bike, or even a 750, you'd most likely be fine if you're really careful on like, a supersport.
Wow, brand new? My 2004 CBR 125 decided to give up on life and die sadly, the garage never told me what broke by they did say the engine had seized. Picked up a 2010 YZF-R125 for £2900 with 800 miles on it.
If I had four of each limbs then I would ride all the four bike at once. I love these toys.
depends what model you're on about, the old ones look like bugs
But surely you'd have to account for the weight and skill of each rider
