  • Removing parts of a yew hedge and installing a free garden gate for a client. This gate was saved from another gate install i done a few years ago. I didn't have the heart to chuck it away and am glad its now got a new home.

Love a reused gate, I got a similar one for free last year and it's been living a new life as a trellis for my clematis lol, great work as always Chris.

I've always said, free is the best price 😂
In my old garden I made one like this into a trellis too. They look really good I think 👍👍

Thanks very much for the videos Chris! I'm currently setting up a little gardening business in the UK and will be using my push bike and trailer to carry everything around. I'm just looking through the Wolf Garten hand tool range now to work out what I need.

Thanks for watching and leaving a comment pal. Good on you for setting yourself up. I've done a couple of vids in wolf stuff. I absolutely love it. Reas (The kilted gardener on RUclips) started on a bike and trailor.

Hi Chris , Another great idea / job👍 I've used an old recycled gate as trellis. Gate in hedge looks really authentic .

Yew did a great job mate. I am the same I keep everything off old jobs. You never know when you can reuse and make a few pound extra.

I was happy to let the client have this gate for free. Been going to them for so long it's nice to give back something for nothing.
Am not as bad as I used to be with keeping stuff, but still pretty bad 🤣🤣

Cool, in a couple of years, that will look like it's been there 40 years 👌, do you put newspaper in the bottom of your runner bean trenches.
