A Fancy and rather Over engineered :-) Little Tester for the Popular EGS002 (and Similar) EG8010 Based SPWM Pure Sine Driver Boards. Not much to say this Time :-)

The EGS002 is a driver board specific for single phase Pure Sine inverters. It uses ASIC EG8010 as control chip and IR2110S as a driver chip. The driver board integrates functions of voltage, current and temperature protection, LED warning indication and fan control.Jumper configures 50/60Hz AC output, soft start mode and dead time. The Show PCB Is a little more Fancy EGS002 Tester that includes 3 Dedicated 0.28" 3Digit Voltmeters on the PCB for showing VFB,IFN,TFB Voltages at the Same time Individually.
Additionally Scope Test Points are Provided and the usage of the Tester is written thoroughly on the PCB itself.

Very nice and useful tester.
I have a question.
We are working on this module to make DIY solar inverter. The module is constantly blasting its ir2110. We put a dip and then some improvement make. But now some time it tested loaf for few minutes with 5-8 amp. But after few attempt it module controller got damaged without any reason. You make any inverter with it?

1) Are you using the EGS002 in High Voltage & Frequency Mode or in Low Voltage & Low Frequency mode ?
2) if you use it at Low Freq Mode, you use a Iron or Toroid Transformer ?
3) another reason the IRxxx blow can be due to fake or bad quality...(I had that) I only use drivers bought from a reliable source when using it on Low Frequency Mode.
Both make a a big difference on how good or bad the Module will work. Yes i used it with China High Frequency Inverter Board, with no Problems. Problems mostly occur with Iron and even more Toroid Transformers in use, but there are some Solutions.

Hello konstantin Grigoriadis you have made a really nice egs002 Tester. straightforward parameters whats required to test the board really good. I have made one not as good as your one but it's just on the basic PCB strip board with limited functions only just to test the board and use the oscilloscope to check that the outputs are working correctly. Do you have the Gerber file it will be nice when I make a next order on PCB ways if I can probably get one or two of these so then it will be a lot easier to test some of these EGS 002 board.
