Would've been nice if they just make the damn form permanent in the new update. Like unlocking it after beating 3 playthroughs and winning the boss gauntlet. Except you didn't show how you you beat the challenge inorder to get the curio. I'm stuck . They seem to play extremely dirty even to the point of disabling my medicines even when I haven't had a chance to even use a medicine they just grey it out . And every time I go for a combo the Stone money turns yellow or white preventing me from landing combos it's extremely frustrating Considering how much effort I put into unlock the Wukong stance
First you need to unlock this mode, which is done by finishing game with true ending 3 times. Then on 4th run you can use it via equipping all 5 gears of wukong set and follow this video. Yes you need 4 focus points + that additional bar. Cheers!

Not only should they make it a permanent form but if not they should atleast give us a soak that extends it as well even though the curio helps
True, I'm hoping that they will make it permanent in DLC along with the new moves. But who knows.
Here is a little secret that might prove useful.If you hold the L2 button in front of most NPCs, you can charge your focus meter.
what is L2 on keyboard?
It's the "V" key. Staff spin move.
