Complimenti!
Yeah, it's beautiful, but... I'd still take a Master Light with that incredible shaped tubing. Still the most beautiful bike ever made, with the Eddy Merckx MX Leader being a close second.
No lugs. Part of the beauty of steel frames are lugs. Although this bike is a beautiful example of modern fabrication married with an older material, it may as well be Carbon fiber. Won't be steel without the lugs.
You make a great point.. lugs definitely give steel frames that classic, timeless charm. While this design embraces modern techniques, it still carries the essence of steel. It's all about combining the best of both worlds!
@@mountaincruiser8173D printed parts are a pure marketing contribution to justify 18k. Steel tubes are perfectly weldable head to head. I have put together last year a stainless steel frame bike with well sized steering and downtubes, extra stiff bottom bracket, weighing exactly 7kg overall, pedals and bottlecage included. Could even be a bit lower than that.
@@ilasakki What brand frame? TIG is definitely lighter than these steel printed parts but still. Your full size stainless frame should come around 1500 gram if it's really thin walled. If you slap on super exotic stuff on it, sure 7 kg would be possible.
@mountaincruiser817 sure every detail counts but nothing very exotic indeed. The frame made by Legend (Italy) weighs around 1700 grams, could be some 200g less but I chose a heavier bottom bracket for rigidity. The rest, shimano dura ace 11v rim/mechanic shift but rotor Aldhu carbon crank/levers/chainrings, mcfk seat tube and stem, 3t handlebar. Wheels, I have saved my alu rim clincher Mavic r-sys (no longer produced, shame). Pedals, look keo carbon-ti. Saddle San Marco Aspide superleggera, very light and incidentally fitting my bottom, too. With a 1600g frame and rim brakes, 7kg can be achieved and even beaten on a good stainless steel road bike. Of course, not a gram of paint (it looks wonderful btw) , light tubes etc.
An absolute Masterpiece!!!!

Complimenti.
They can keep it
it IS damn beautiful !!!
It’s beautifully made but that stack height is enormous. You can tell who is the target market.
Like a lot 👍🏼
It’s a real beauty 😍
So beautiful and so special
It truly is a beauty, a real standout! 😍

Well, I've had a Master X-light with Campagnolo since 2008 which is still my full time summer bike, and I get to keep $18k. 😉
Beautiful bike 😊
It really is a stunning piece of craftsmanship
Bellezza ed eleganza senza tempo ❤
Unica ❤
❤❤❤

Elegant.
This bike is for hardcore Colnago fans, I wouldn't say I like it not my cup of tea.
I didn't find anything special exept the very ... very very very special price...
Lovely looking bike.
It really is a beauty!
Pure italian Magic.
A masterpiece of craftsmanship and passion😍
18,000 USD 🤡🤡 Colnago is not italian anymore unfortunately but owned by an Abu Dhabi fund.

Buona fortuna allora! 🍀😊
Io pure!!

I wonder how much a 54 weighs?
I’ll take a Ritchey instead, thanks.
Ritchey makes amazing bikes too. But the Steelnovo definitely has its own charm, worth a closer look!
18,000USD = 8.8KG ???
OK. Enough chit chat... ... How much??
Classe sopraffina.... dìáòllll 🐷 gó òl mágù 🥺. 👏🏻👏🏻
Te ghet resù
Overrated
Nothing
The only thing special about it is that it's the first insanely overpriced boutique bike that is not also vomit-inducing ugly.
Gorgeous bike, way too expensive for the common cyclist, but it’s fun to look at I guess….
Oversized steel, boat anker? Looks nice but could never be light no matter what new 3d wizardry there using. 😅
ouch

Brutta cosa l’incompetenza
