Great video! I tried doing this, but when I input the calculation I got an error saying that I cannot mix aggregate and non-aggregate functions in an IF calculation.

    Thanks for session.
In addition to this I have to work on similar logic.
    Logic:
I have column "Jan 2015 of X company" and "Jan 2015 of Y Company". Then I have "IYA of X company" and"IYA Y company". Third column will be of Product name (e.g Ariel, Tide etc)
I have to use 2 Calculated fields as the Axis
    1)sum(Jan2015 of X company) - Sum (Jan 2015 of Y Company) as the X - axis.
    2) sum(IYA 2015 of X company) - Sum (IYA 2015 of Y Company) as the Y- Axis
Then in this I have implement another logic as :-
    1) Jan2015 of X company) > (Jan 2015 of Y Company) AND IYA 2015 of X company > IYA 2015 of Y Company
    Then "First Quadrant"
    2)Jan2015 of X company) < (Jan 2015 of Y Company) AND IYA 2015 of X company > IYA 2015 of Y Company
    Then "Second Quadrant"
    3) Jan2015 of X company) < (Jan 2015 of Y Company) AND IYA 2015 of X company < IYA 2015 of Y Company
    Then "Third Quadrant"
    4) Jan2015 of X company) > (Jan 2015 of Y Company) AND IYA 2015 of X company < IYA 2015 of Y Company
    Then "Fourth Quadrant"
And then need to show scatter plot/ Quadrant in which I have to show only Jan 2015 element.
Kindly help to build the above logic

what if I want to calculate the color field based on my reference line which is dynamic i.e. avg so I would like to see if my point is above avg in both axises should come in top right

I have created a visual in Tableau having 4 Quadrants using Reference Lines. I have also created 2 Parameters (using Sets) with which i can move the quadrants as desired.
I am trying to display a Dynamic text in all the 4 quadrants which displays the # of Records in each quadrant. As and when I change the parameters, the numbers in the text should also change according to the number of records in that quadrant.
Is there a way to do the same in Tableau ?
