He wants it back :(
Hi, my name is Rafal and I would like to offer you something, I have got into contact with Ethos company and they are willing to give you a new tech coating which they claim has the ability to reduce water spots upto around 80-90% compared to traditional ceramic coatings that are on the market today. Their new product is called Ethos matrix graphene coating. They said they can't get through to you and are happy to offer it to you to showcase and test it to the audience. Please can you put that to the test with other ceramic coating products and see which products has the least water etching/spotting?
LOL, send back half of it.....
He watched the video then 🤣🤣
Whos matter Reg? I'm confused haha
C’mon Reg, allow it 😄
As I always say to anyone who slates AF Tripple....
If it's good enough for Jim White at White Details, it's good enough for the rest of us.
Was about to put that myself he’s basicly the best in the u I know of and the fact he loves it says a lot
Machine polishing raises the quality massively. With being new to machine polishing, I was shocked on how much it improved the finish of my paintwork following full prep.
Best AIO I've used, outstanding stuff. I've used this on a few cars topped with a nice wax and the finish is superb.
Very good thorough review. Thanks for always covering all the bases. I think the bonnet on your test car looks amazing. Killer gloss.
I'll have to give this a go. Thanks for the clear and honest review as always 👍🏻
I was recommended to try this product in my door shuts and have been really impressed. Now all my door shuts and under my bonnets on the 3 cars are gleaming. I am impressed and have ordered more product in their sale. Thanks for the info on compatibility issues.
First got Tripple as part of the AF claybar kit.
Was very impressed with how well it performed, especially as mentioned with a machine polisher.
It's my go to product to quickly clean up door jams & sill panels by hand
Hi john ,another good review ! been watching and taking up you your advice and tips on all detailing products the last 4 months..love it great channel 🚘your the Man 👌👍👊
So refreshing to hear someone say something good about auto finesse the detailing community seem to hate the for some reason I’m not one to comment but I think this video was really needed thanks and keep up the awesome work
I've used a few AF products and wanted them to be better than what people said. The only stand out for me was Triple. Everything that you said stands, easy to apply and remove and a seriously good finish for what it is. Great video again Jon keep up the great content
Been using this for about 3years it's fantastic! Even in hot weather, you will not be disappointed good on oxide paint I always top it with either tertle wax sealer or bilt hamber qd Iwill easily get 3 months protection even here in spain.love this Chanel, not to be sniffed at
I used this product for the first time a few weeks ago and found it extremely easy to work with. I used bouncers done and dusted after applying this aio and the finish was outstanding. As long as you're paintwork is in good condition to start with you really can't go wrong. At this price I'm sure most people will love it
I know this is super old sorry but did you apply it via machine polishing or hand? And did you apply bouncers wet or dry? Thank you
I have been using it for a couple of years, To top up gloss and it's great and the best AF products as you say so nice to use! I normally use a paste wax over the top which works well!
Good review Jon. Ive used this and got good results every time.
I love AF products. Always well packaged and you get some great deals when buying in bulk 5ltr.. i have quite an array of them.. however since I started t follow you for last 6 months I now use other products for other applications.. ie BH snow foam and surfex... keep up the great work 👍👍👍👍
I really like this for a quick going over between properly doing things, and I think thats what its for. If you go down to their premises, covid doo-dah exempt of course, they are all massively knowledgeable and really keen to help out. My blackberry caddy is ten years old, and gleams when I give it a tickle with this 👍
I've used it for 3 yrs now & it is brilliant, you won't get anything better as an AIO..
I love triple, I'm not a massive AF fan but this is a go to when needed
Yeah same,or that orange looking one (forget the name) I’m more of a meguires man my self
Glad you have finally done a review of An AF product. Personally I love triple, iv used it for the last few years now. Maybe you could review AF One Step at some point. Keep on with the good work love your channel 👏
Jon has included AF products in many of his reviews. They just don't often come out as category leaders... But I think its unfair to imply that he doesn't review them...
Have used this for three years now, I would not still use it if was no good. I use the Radiance afterwards and that is the best I have seen, also good comments at work, and that is a vehicle preparation centre!!
Thanks I’m a newbie when it comes to machine polishing only just about to start using them and this looks like a great product for me to start out with to be honest
Great product Jon, this is a product that Jim at White Details uses all the time. From memory he uses it on chrome more than anything else. Not an AF fan at all but I really rate this stuff as well. Great to see you having a go with it. It’s always good to see another point of view 👌
Love watching ur Chanel always a upfront and honest review. Looking for a dedicated bird dropping remover think u might do something in the near future
Used tripple on a few cars great all in one easy to apply and remove well worth giving a try Great review.
Unbelievable stuff, it actually surprised me alot first time using it it took 95% of the swirls out of a pannel i was just testing on, love AF as a brand too
I had a bottle of this a few years ago and must say I was impressed with it, like you say easy to use, reliable and gave a decent enough finish. Swapped it out for BH cleanser polish and haven't looked back since.
D T Me too
I’ve just got hold of some cleanser polish - would you say it’s better than this Tripple?
What’s BH?
@@xr2fan655 Bilt Hamber
@@CarFinanceSimplified Better than Tripple in my opinion, it was featured in the Bilt Hamber product product range review on this channel which will give you far more information than I can. Its a nice user friendly product that delivers really good results.
I really love Tripple for what it is. Also I have freshened up loads of chrome trims and lug nuts with it, it does work I tell you! Give it a try.
I used this on the black panels of a Smart Fortwo I had polished last November and it did clean and revive those panels.
I love Tripple. Has just enough ‘cut’ to give my paint a decent smooth finish, before topping with Autoglym UHD wax. I’m happier doing frequent details, so not so worried about durability.
fair review, keep them coming sir
Great video. Tripple is a decent all rounder. Love auto finesse products would be great to see your views on a few more of them. Just seems to be products done very well. Never seen the issue of the negativity... Tend to wait till theres a sale on and treat myself.
Great review, Jon. I really like this product. It would be great to see you review some of their waxes.👍🙂
Nice review, Jon!
Got some really nice results with this on the machine whilst playing around with some harder pads. Gonna give this a go with a purple scholl spider pad and see if I can nudge some extra bite out of it.
yer you can get some decent cut going with it as well. Its a solid product yes most of the work is filling but thats a given. its a really usefull tool this stuff.
good info Jon, big fan of PB Blackhole and Meg's Ultimate Compound.
It is very good at what it does. I remember whizzing over the Mrs car with this and the gloss was exceptional.
I bought this on the off couple of years ago and was good for a quick finish and got rid of any white water marks if washing in the sun
Hi John I’ve just bought a das 6 pro. I’m going to do a one stage polish as your previous video suggests I’ve a 2017 black A4 in good condition. When that’s done and I’m happy with the result is it just a case of going back to washing the car normally and only using the machine again as it needs it, going by previous hand polishes on my older cars roughly every 3 or 4 months. Also in relation to waxing do you recommend by hand or using the machine. There seems to be so much information on using the machine the first time but not a lot in relation to follow up uses. Thanks really enjoying the videos and apologies if this is a stupid question.
Thanks for the review... I do find other detailers, do stag AF off, which really annoying, if you don't like what it does, go use another product, i use the AF tripple, no complaints on my metallic paint, also had people say how shiny and glossy my car is after, so doing its job.. i have also use Auto Glym, also I feel a good product, a little more expensive, but up to the individual, anyway thumbs 👍 up for the great review..
Great review! Off out to buy a bottle now!
Hi Jon, how do those products stack up against Koch-Chemie P3.02 ?
Has anyone else noticed that when brands start to grow and get noticed ( and I’m not just talking about detailing companies) they start to attract negative comments from some people? Auto finesse didn’t get where they are by selling crap. Some of their stuff can be bettered of course but on the whole it’s a solid range. The branding is of course a big part of the success here but so is the fact that most of the range is user friendly ( I hesitate to say idiot proof! ), I’d class them as every young driveway detainers “go to” brand.....P.S. triple is a decent product for giving chrome a light polish.
Nail on the head 👍
Great review of a very good AIO. Plus. The more people slate Auto Finnesse, the more Auto Finnesse I buy. 😆
I’ve tried it but prefer SRP for its useability and outcome. Whilst I’m typing I just want to let any of you who own a PXE-80 know that an extension bar is now available from Excel Detailing. It’s a great piece of kit and now gives you the flexibility to do really intricate areas like wheels and vents. If I remember correctly it’s made by or called APS pro.
John, great content once again. I have an idea which I would love for you to consider as a potential future video.
You mentioned that one of the drawbacks of this product is that it does not prep the paintwork for a sealant. Which of course is 100% correct. However, I would love to see you do a comparative test on the impact that an AIO like tripple would have on the durability of a sealant, such as turtle wax sealant.
Perhaps you could get a test panel. On one half you could apply Tripple and top it with the sealant. On the other half you could apply the sealant to fully prepped clear coat. Conduct a torture test to determine how good/bad a sealant can perform on top of a wax? This is something I am curious about and have not seen on any other channel. Love this channel by the way!
Would be interesting 👍
can do this but hard to tell if I knock the sealant off the wax because the wax will be there under it. but could still see what happens. lot of the primer AIO polishes like this use different materials... Like BH uses acrylic, this uses nuba wax, some use SI02.. hmm interesting yer. bare panel shold always be optimum I think.
I use this and I like it. My paint is in good condition and I don't need to use heavy cutting polishes.
Appreciate the vid John. I'll check out this product, Under £15 for 500ml size bottle ain't bad at all.
I have only discovered and subscribed to this channel in the last week or so but love the videos. Will give some of this a try. I would really be interested in options for the Karcher lance upgrade.
they sctoot welcome aboard make see video called "going great guns"
For the issues of abrasiveness and compatibility I think you might enjoy Dodo Juice Lime Prime Plus. I've just once used it but it cleaned so well, and was way more abrasive than Tripple (Tripple I've used several times and like it). Then the Lime Prime range lacks on protection, but if I understand correct, it should leave you with clean panels to add protection of your choise to.
Great video👍🏼
What cloth did you use to buff of the product ?
Do you have to clay bar before this or use car pro ion x.?
Lovely Jubbly, a honest review in my opinion.
It's a decent enough AIO Jon but from what I've seen personally BH Cleanser Polish is more capable than it for reviving the paint. I remember using CP on my sisters heavily swirled & oxidised red Audi TT & the transformation in that shocked me. Maybe my expectations were lower as I know the limitations of these types of product but my machine, CP totally transformed the look of the paint.
Another you already know I highly rate is Britemax Virtue which I keep in my arsenal purely for when I intend to apply a sealant product on top as it plays ball with them. CP is my go to quick turn around polish when I am applying a wax 👍
works to an extent when you have hands as well. I love cleanser fluid, its thinner but its nice to use as well. I know what I can do with this tripple though I never going to correct paint with it. I would use it on machine prior to waxing to strip down and clean up the panels, gloss them up.. then lay down a wax. And this sort of fits in to my requirements well of what Im looking for, specially the buff. You can use SRP, Blackhole, Cleanser Fluid, tripple. But you can also see from the comments this is a product people seem to value. I understand why theres not much there to not like beyond the things mentioned in the review really and its well priced.
Never used this but I did try a back to back of autoglym srp vs poor boys white diamond and I found the poor boys was a lot gave better results but it needed a little more work into it. But I think products like this are great sometimes you don’t want to do a 2 stage polish and everything that goes with it as you say sometimes you just want to quickly wizz over and gloss up your car.
Just literally tried some today after using Diamondbrite glaze. Goes on so easy, off easy. I'm going to top up with SoftFusso99. Nice easy to use Tripple. I like it so far! Good video as usual. Thanks!!!!
Great vid. I really like this stuff, as it saves me time. Can I ask which wax you would recommend to top it with?
literally anything. I would use BH finish wax or autoglym UHD perhaps.
Does this product work better with certain colors?
Isn’t it funny how some detailing brands just have a couple of stand out products. I always thought triple was good but i don’t really rate AF oddly. What I am interested in Is how bilt hamber double speed wax would sit on top of it?
mattyrallye I use both together and had no problems
It is a fine product used it a few times 👌
I've never got on with this to well. It seems to do a brilliant job but left residue on my black paint. No matter how I applied or removed it
Cleanser Polish was my favourite AIO but may have been knocked of its perch in my eyes by Turtle Wax Ceramic Polish which has decent correction capabilities.
Hi John
Great channel - love your reviews.
Is there any chance you can do a review on Glass Coat made by Coating Farm,a Korean product.
I stumbled across this when I purchased a black Porsche, it was inside the car & had been used by the valeting guys, I find it very good to use with good protection which seems to last a few months
Cheers & keep up the good work
Hi, I have literally just used tripple today on my car, I used my das6 polisher and and a blue hexlogic foam pad, would you recommend another pad for this polish? I found the blue hexlogic a bit soft maybe today, great vids as always avid long time subscriber, cheers nige
yes use it with white pad. work it nice and slow like a finishing polish take your time get good coverage. using on machine works the cut out of the product more and it really leaves a good finish on the car. Blue is too soft.
Have you reviewed the vanity swirl concealer polish by splash detailing? If so how did you find it ? Maybe do a video of this if not 👍🏻😊
Definitely looks like a solid product 👌
Dont forget AF has one step which is like tripple but with more cut.
I keep tripple in my tool box at work for little touch ups.
how does it compare to KC p1.01?
I've had a bottle of this since 2012. It's now separated out into a watery liquid and paste. Even shaking wouldn't make them recombine 😆
One of the first detailing products I bought many years ago. Barely used it as it took me a few years to understand where it trully helps. Would never recommend it for any kind of paint enhancement or correction. It's best use in my opinion is to clean oxidized paint, clean door jams, under the hood etc. basically all those painted surfaces where you don't want to go through a lot of expensive polish because you don't really want to have a mirror finish on the inside of your trunk/hood/door. That being said, I rarely use it, but when I do, I am happy to have it and not use a premium product to achieve the same result that this gets me.
I use it to clean the paint, if that makes sense. I use a polishing sponge for a better application, and you stand back the paint work is basically brighter. Chrome work, badges, and even the high gloss interior trims all respond well to its cleaning power. The only thing that would make it better for me would be if it didn't stain rubbers, plastic trims etc. I regularly use Bilt Hamber Double Speed Wax on top of it to boast performance. My customers like it, so for me that's good enough.
Slightly off topic John. I got into detailing a couple of years ago and have been using the mequiars ultimate compound, polish, liquid wax. I been watching some of your videos about the Koch range. Do you think it's worth the upgrade to Koch polish range. My car is is 2 years old with some light swirls etc that I need to remove. Thanks again
honestly. use your products. UC and UP are not cheap crappy products. They are using awesome quality abrasives. UC can cut well and leave an amazing finish, you just cant hammer it like the german stuff, its not as oily and it will dry out. But you just sort of learn how to use it and stop, and go again if need be. In terms of UP, theres no reason to ever look beyond this really. So my advice is uses these products up, use every last drop. Then switch to Koch because they are more forgiving to use.
Ultimate liquid wax is a great product to buff a bit like this AF AIO. but the durabiltiy is low. Megs are doing some cool things with their ceramic range that are worth checking out as well. main problem with megs in the UK is the price but I like using megs products generally. specially their "shiney" type produdcts.
@@ForensicDetailing thanks mate for the response. I always appreciate a message back when you get so many comments. Think I'll use the compound and polish and then put some fast finish on top instead. Think I must of bought half the mequiars range when I was in halfords last year. 😜. Should I also be testing to see if the polish removes the swirls before using the compound?
Hi Jon, what would you think about a single stage with Sonax Perfect Finish, followed by a single stage with Tripple and then finished off with a top coat of TurtleWax Hydrophobic Sealant?
I'm sure the TurtleWax is Carnauba-based with synthetic polymers added in!
I would wax on top of tripple.
@@ForensicDetailing cheers Jon. I actually have some Auto Finesse wax kicking about that I haven't used yet so I may give that a go.
It appears to be good at what it’s intended for, although I do agree it would be better if it had more cutting capability when applied by hand.
Hi Jon
I'm getting a 2020 330e in a couple of weeks. When I get it im planning on washing it, using W6 fallout remover, Polish with Tripple then a couple of coats of Fusso (the old stuff!). Any recommendations or advice?
you might need to clay mark. but essentially you got it. wash/decon/polish/protect. fusso might work better on bare prep'd paint than wax primed AIO paint. tripple is not a full on paint correct tool, I would use pure abrasives typically but tripple is a really nice easy to use product. you can work cut with tripple. people the comment about it being full of filler and it has no cut are just repeating things they heard, it has cut and you can work a fair amount of cut with a decent polishing pad. I would head to the detailing fundamentals playlist on the channel and watch the 40 minute video on how to polish a car. thats got lots of help there.
@@ForensicDetailing Cheers for the reply and tips. I have used Tripple for a couple of years and use it because it is pretty much effortless to work with and cleans up and shines the paint well. I'll see what damage BMW do to it prepping it and may just Sedona and Fusso. A bit scared of playing the new paint in case I inflict damage to it.
I bought some Megs liquid ceramic wax today to try out. Went on and buffed off easy but it doesnt have the same sickness and water behaviour of Fusso.
Cheers again and thanks for all your content on RUclips.
Need to try AF One Step AIO Polish
Hi I have the m140i with the black gloss alloys and noticed tiny abrasions and scratches on them could I use tripple on them? Or what would you use, I dont want to damage them etc. Cheers great channel 👍
hey rich, you can but alloys get too hot, they are like ovens, the microscopic layer of material will just erode away rapidly... if you are going to protect your alloys really its ceramic coat or nothing. using a glaze on an alloy is a waste of time. You can take the alloys off and spend outs trying to correct the clearcoat. I just think its time wasted. if the finish is gone it only costs about 2--300 to have them powdered coated again. So I say just enjoy the car and put aside money to refurb them in a few years, and spend your weekend driving it rather than polishing rock hard alloy wheel clearcoat.
Forensic Detailing Channel great thanks for the reply funny I had the wheels ceramic coated when I bought the car but I don’t think they did a great job as you say probably best to leave and see if they get worse it’s ok at moment your hard pressed to see the issues . I swore I’d never get black gloss alloys again but hey I must be mad ha ha 😂Cheers again 👍
Is there a supplier in the USA? I have always loved this line but it used to have to be imported from the UK.
Should be mate
I love paint cleaners. They do not have wax, so i can apply the sealant with better durability. Speaking for polishing by hand, i do not know if the hand polishing reduse the clear coat much. According to my opinion someone could use twice a year an abrasive paint cleaner in order to prepare the paint polishing by hand. The abrasives in a paint cleaner are too small - fine to reduce the clear coat. A very very thin part of the clear coat reduce. This is my experience. Maybe i am wrong...
Can I layer BH double speed on top of this without loosing too much durability?
yes no problems. I wont recomend double speed to people in hot climates though or people that store cars in garages.
Would love to see a review of AF One Step Vs Angelwax Enigma AIO
I expected a load of comments along the line of the film Spartacus, 'I'm Reg, send it to me' 😂
Have you ever reviewed Modesta ceramic coating?
This marked my black plastic trim when I used it but it was a while ago so they may of reformulated it since...
What stiffness pad would you recommend to use this with
generally mate a soft pad because I wouldnt use this to cut out swirls. so for me I whizz over it fast with a soft pad.
This is exactly the sort of product I've been looking for. I can only see some swirls in very particular, strong lighting. Normal sunlight etc they're not visible. I also wanted something I could easily apply myself.
Another, fair and unbiased review. Especially the point about how the brand is marketed.
cant find it for the price indicated ?? (now found but several sellers selling the 250ml bottles for more than you can buy the 500ml bottle for)
Check the autofinesse website mate.
I've used it for years, but the last bottle I got doesn't seem as good as it used to be.
cheap or affordable
I agree it's a very good product 👍
Would this work on piano black trim? Or would you be better with another product
this would be great for that ian yes.
Forensic Detailing Channel 🙏 Thank you for replying . Love the channel too. A friend recommended it as a fine source for learning the art of detailing. New sub for me 😉
@@truescotsman83 welcome ian thank you mate.
I love tripple it’s a wrist saver 😂
I used this today on my new car and it was an absolute pig to buff off, and it left the paint a little flat. Surprising as I thought it would be easy to work off. I must have used way to much? Any tips? Cheers
it literally buffs like silk for me and most people that have commented and thats one of the reasons I love using it. Its impossible to comment on what your experiencing without literally being there and seeing it whats going down. so I really dont know mate sorry. but yes you should not use much just form a thin film of the product first and work with a soft pad then leave it to haze a bit and buff with a clean cloth.. My best guess if you may have used loads and you were trying to buff a thicker wet film which then loads up your buff cloth with wet product and it all goes south.. but Im guessing.
I think I must have used too much... I didn't trail it on but was more than a film. Ill go easy next time. Cheers mate
I used a little different one it’s the same brand just that it’s a one step and my gosh it cuts well fast with a good finish with no haze with not a lot
Once a year with Koch Chemie micro cut dealing. Then top it up with triple wax ever 3 to 4 weeks and it's not difficult to use. They 20% off at Halfords a couple of weeks ago
Cleanser Fluid! I can’t believe you said that after my f••k up with that stuff.
:) easily done innit :) bad naming choice fromBH with these 2 products. Cleanser Fluid should be called Cleaner Panel Wipe Fluid.
I bought this polish from halfords my god its superb it gives you a shine that you won't want to use anything else again
it is superb isnt it. but the buff on it as well is like the lightest silk. and it even smells nice and cool in the summer just using it the smell is like incredible (and Im not one for smells)
Just picked up a 1 litre bottle from there today…£17.95..Good price for a litre.
Will this stop dirt sticking to the paint
Contamination yes dirt less so m8
Hello jon, Somebody said there was considerable dusting with this product, can you confirm?
zero dusting in fact its near on impossible to make it dust. I invited that person to send me the product. Who knows if you buy it on ebay maybe its like been tampered with or its bad batch?
@@ForensicDetailing Awesome! Thank u jon
Ive got this i found it a bit watery. But ill try it again
