Great video. Good to see the shelter is being well looked after. Expansive views form anywhere on the plateau. Many thanks for sharing.

Hi Charles, Its always a bit of contrast when walking up on the plateau as its height is deceiving in and about the rolling tops. All good stuff. Cheers, Charlie

This is a grand area. I did this round in reverse with my daughter. In younger days I did a winter round from a camp at Glen Callater Lodge of Carn an Tuirc, Cairn of Claise, Tom Buidhe, Tolmount, Broad Cairn, Cairn Bannoch, and Care an t Sagairt Mor. One summer a colleague and I added Lochnagar to that round on a long summer day. The most munros I ever did in a day. Great to see ground I recognise in your videos.

Hello, Glad you have had a wee memory blast from this outing. It's such a terrific area once to get up onto the plateau and the distance between the tops gives an easier incline than normal. Just a great area for high level walking particularly on hard packed snow that's taking a crampon. Cheers, Charlie.

Great video again Charlie a fantastic area with expansive views. I have fond memories of Cairn Bannoch and Broad Cairn, the last two Munro's I walked with my good friend Wilco when we did the Lochnagar circuit, He is greatly missed and would have loved your videos . Take care. Mick.

Hello, Many thanks for taking the time to watch our Glen Clova outing. It's a super area giving easy access to many munros and some super high level walking. ATB, Charlie.

Ah great film C&M, I was first up there 7 years ago when i bagged Mayar & Driesh and i fell in love with the place. Once you are up in the plateau its great walking, I also thought the walk from Broad Cairn to Cairn Bannoch was a stroll. But i was up in the winter once and it was freezing and no so friendly LOL! Thanks for this, peter :)))

Just as an after thought, Davies Bourach looks different. It was shut when i was last there. It looks to have gained a foot or so in height.

Great video Charlie! You‘re giving me excellent input for hikes in the future. Last week we hiked Ben Vrackie because of your Ben Vrackie video. ATB Wolfgang

    Hi,again, C&M,
Only Ben Lawers ridge compares for multi-bagging.
Agree with Peter. A special place.
Great light in your video. Thanks again.

That's a heck of a long hike! That must be 20 miles minimum surely? I think I might attempt it in the spring. I will be packing a big lunch.

Hi Kieran, Not quite as long as you think... 22km but an enjoyable outing and ideal for a Spring outing. Cheers, Charlie
