This video honestly highlights what Amex is banking on. People just forgetting about credits and rules.
One more pitfall to avoid. Carry your physical card while staying with FHR or HC. I use my platinum card as a keeper card and seldom carry it with me. One of my FHR stays was almost at risk due to me not carrying my card. And no, cards in mobile wallets do not count! My wife had the card, and saved the day😊
Can you do another similar video for the Amex GOLD card?? I am sure people are going to be making a lot of mistakes on that card as well. I know that most folks hate the food credit and the Uber credit but that $240 will almost pay for the current annual fee. Thank you for your content and keeping us on the alert.for all these land mines.

As a Las Vegas local who uses the airport once a month I can confidently say the Club Las is better than their centurion lounge.
Are you kidding? Shocked that Amex let the Centurion lounge slip down so far that the PP lounge is superior??!
@@johnkim163 food= Amex lounge everything else seating, showers, charging spots all are better at the club. Example there are 5 showers at the club las and only one at Amex’s and with overcrowding I’ll take the club. 🤷🏽

Amex really doesnt like me much but I did get the BBP for my business and I have a Amex HYSA but thats it! One day Ill get approved for the Green, Gold, Platinum!

Does the amex delta cards considered as 1 family?
Like with AMEX new ruling about SUBs for the same family, would it be better to start with say the Delta silver/gold and then work your way up vs starting with the Delta Reserve instead? So you can get the SUB for each tier
Yes, delta family cards have similar languages, apply from blue.

Yeah…I hate how they handle their SUBs. Wish I got the 90k offer on the gold. I rushed and received 75k.
I have an offer of 50k for 6 months 2k spent upgraded from Gold card to Platinum i did receive 90k offer for Gold 3 years ago I'm up for renewal this August should I take offer?
Heck no. Cancel Gold then sign up for Platinum! Sign up bonus for Platinum is always much higher than 50k (usually around 100k and upwards 150k for special offers). Spend requirements are higher ($8k or so over 6 months) so if you don't spend enough to reach that then I guess take that offer.
$50 for breakfast?!?!?! I can't imagine what I would expect for a $50 breakfast. Gold plated waffles? Free range organic gluten free eggs?
If you are interested in the charge cards as you listed, make sure you start with the green 1st then gold and finally platinum. This is assuming these cards actually fit your lifestyle.

Max rewards is terrible. I stopped using it years ago after it stopped updating my cards balances
The best platinum offer is 175k points, you are most likely gonna encounter 150k points.
