- For some adventurous circumstances I arrived in Essen (which in German means food...) so late that I had only one hour available to explore the city. So I decided that instead of showing around, a better idea would be asking to locals to describe their city. Not sure it was a good idea...
Guys don't forget to SUBSCRIBE to my channel! It helps a lot! Thanks😉
I'm slowly checking off all my German cities/towns. I didn't know about Essen. I'm adding it to the list. Haha great video, man!
essex? that's in england. also, in edwardsville. that's essen. like the verb.
@@jameshudson169 haha oops. I commented from my phone. It must have auto corrected. I fixed it, thanks.
I go to opera houses around Europe, so I've been to many German cities, including Essen several times. The opera company is great, and in a lovely building. There's a concert hall next to it but I haven't been to it.
bald middle-aged dood with black sunglasses and a camera is approached with caution, what a suprise
I'm not middle aged, I'm a charming young boy.
you should not film the faces of the people! also, germans are not automatically all blond with blue eyes. my italian friend moved to germany and was very disappointed that not every girl is looking like claudia schiffer, haha, he wanted a tall blond woman to marry and failed after 10 years looking, lol, he eventually went back to italy. italian men have a stereotype about germans. essen is a working class city for many hundred years, you wont find many people speaking english, but other working class nationalities.
I see, I wasn't in Essen to look for blonde women though, rather I wanted to capture the vibe of the city. Unfortunately I didn't have much time as I wrote in the intro.
About the not filming the faces issue, thank you for let me know, I guess now half of RUclips channels should shut down 😢
Essen seems like a dump to me.
Its a public space, if you dont want the possibility of being seen on camera maybe you should not leave your house
Should have gone to Poland

germans will never speak to a camera. and they will tell you they dont speak english though they do. i would not recommend you do travel vlogging in germany. it's one of the most boring places to do that and i'm from germany.
Why do they say that they do not speak English although they do ?
Essen means eating not food!!!
Essen ist fertig! :)
Correct! Das essen is fetrig zum essesn. It has a double meaning! @@crazy71achmed
