Beating on darkseid with his fist and overpowering his omega beams with his own mystical blasts is not even the surface of his powers. He can warp reality and turn darkseid into a dog. I can only imagine what he's doing to him in that void.

Trigon doesn’t warp reality. He can’t turn Darkseid into a dog. In fact recent versions of both in comics Darkseid slams
