- A layout tour with one of my prized trains, the Blue Midland Pullman by Bachmann.
After receiving a comment about seeing it run on the layout I decided to make this video.
I very much hope you enjoy this fictitious heritage rail tour of my layout.
It was a child hood dream to own one of these one day, after picking up old Triang versions later in life I finally own the jewel in the crown.
A fantastic train, not sound installed, but maybe in the not to distant future I will add this.
Thanks for watching and don't forget to subscribe to the channel, it's free!

Envy makes hard work! After looking closely at the Pullman journey around Wood Hill Park it has indicated to me all the hard work that is still to come on my layout in “dressing” the scenery and creating the miniature world. Thank you for letting us enjoy your hard work and detailing. GRUMP5B
A pleasure, and it's only hard work if you let it be. The otherwise it's a great absorbing hobby. Thanks for watching. Graham 🙂👍

Thanks Stephen, I hope you continue to get enjoyment from the channel. Comments/ideas for the layout are always welcome. Learning is a never ending process, I far from know it all and love to hear other people's take on things.
Best regards Graham 👍🚂
The layout's looking really great Graham, a super session.. We all get bits and pieces of inspiration from our fellow YTers so thank you for the regular episodes....I'm collating ideas from various YT channels and you have certainly given me many to consider over your videos. Regards Julian at Valebridge Model Railway.
Thanks Julian, very glad I can pass on knowledge and learn in turn myself. Cheers for watching Graham 👍🚂
Your getting good at this mate 😊,I have a Bachmann London transport pannier in the depot on my layout sits there for weeks but as soon as I run her starts first time ,all the best bud
Mark 👍🏻😃
Cheers Mark, thanks for dropping by and watching. ATB Graham 👍🚂
Your layout is perfect for such a beautiful train, it looks magnificent.
I have two sets plus a driver and dummy of the grey/blue set. They all have the original driving wheels but ai replaced sone of the dummy wheel sets and in the process I made a video of the work I did on them.
It looks and sounds terrific. Well done
I went a bit mad buying numerous sets of old Triang pullmans years ago and then reducing the flanges on the wheels. They're good but nowhere as good as the bachmann set that I finally bought which you see in this film. It is just a wonderful train in every aspect. Thanks for watching atb Graham 👍
This video is stunning one of the best ive seen in a long while😮. Your layout is fantastic and the variety of trains is classic. My Pullman arrived yesterday, the same model, and I'm looking forward to running it. You have a diverse locomotive fleet, I sort of do but my diversity is planted in my rolling stock. Once again a really good video
Cheers for the kind words, I'm glad you're enjoying the layout. You won't be disappointed with your purchase. She truly is a wonderful model. Many thanks, Graham 😊👍
Nice video, came up in my feed randomly.....I have been past Crewe Heritage Centre several times recently on travels up North via Avanti West Coast and there is a working Blue Pullman there in the siding including carraiges (unless it gets shunted around). Thank you for sharing.
Interesting 🤔 up till now I've only heard of maybe a carriage and some crockery left, possibly at the national railway museum york. If for real, that's fantastic news. I think they were last used for static generation. Thanks for watching and taking the time to comment. Cheers Graham 🙂 👍
Darrenbury Central Hi thanks for running B Pullman. Like the GWR HST . How about puttin a faint white square on the tunnel side. This could be left from steam days when the were used to help spot semophore signals in dull days. The signal being by the bridge side. The scenery board with grass n buildings you could put hedges here n there or bushes to add another dimention. Great show. Also you could have a bit of dirt every few inches on the plat edge. The plat sides that face the track you could put some cables on like you see about. Also you could do a bridge with old tracks on it or one that is now a cycle track. You could weather up the plat tops and carpark floor in different shades of grey black as they r out side 24 7 . Tatty Bi Thanks again for running B P 4 me.
Thanks for all your feedback and prompting me to think about running my favourite train again. Pleasure to run on your behalf. ATB Graham 👍😀🚂
Hello. What camera did you use to get those fantastic pictures down on the track..brilliant. looking for a small camera myself as most I have bought are useless or do not work Thankyou
thank you
Hi Steve it's a Hawkeye Firefly Q6 4K 1080P Full HD Sports Camera Video For RC Drone FPV W4L3. Excellent camera for filming cab views. I'll put a note in the more tag for the relevant update as well, just in case anyone else wants to know. Just looked and they are still available on ebay for around £70. Hope that helps, atb Graham 👍
Hi Graham what camera are you using on your running shots great video .
It's a 4k drone camera. Hawkeye Firefly Q6 4k HD FPV Aerial Camcorder. Charlie Bishop at Chadwick Model Railway recommended it. Has been a great little camera but not sure whether it's still available. I'm sure there'll be a next generation replacement though.
Hope that helps. Regards Graham 😊
The blue pullman new hornby or old triang?
Neither, it's produced by Bachmann. And a very nice set it is, with two driving loco's and a full lighting package. I do own a few sets of the Triang version that I restored and adapted the wheels to peco code 100. Have been thinking about converting at least one set over to dcc rather than them just sitting in a box. A future project maybe. Atb Graham 🙂
omg. unnreal . dude.
Cheers 👍
