Lots of configurations to try, this is my favourite with the small tarp.

Very helpful video Dave... Out of curiosity, what size pack do you run with when you take a shelter? I'm pretty new to trail running and packing efficiently is becoming a bit of a learning curve

      Hi Nathan.
I can get this tarp and my little stove and brew kit into a 10L pack. In cold weather though I will also take a warm layer to put on whilst I'm stopped so that takes up more room so then I'd go for a 15L pack.
Glad you found it useful, thanks for commenting.
      Dave

@@fellrunningguide That's impressive... I'm using a Montane Trailblazer 18L and struggling for space... Packing for hiking is simpler 🤣

Man I hope you don't take offense to this, but I *just* finished watching Lord of the Rings, and all I can imagine while watching this is Pippin out in the outskirts of the shire filming his little videos to show his brother or whatever Merry was.
