  • With us getting more familiar with Tsukuba Circuit after walking around and studying some of the other race cars who were participating at Attack Tsukuba, it was time to get down to the nitty gritty; racing. More importantly, the Tsukuba FWD record, held by famed driver Nobuteru Taniguchi and HKS. As the day progressed, both JDMYARD and the PZTuning/Vibrant Performance team were getting better and better, with times improving virtually every super lap. We continue with our unprecedented look at the Attack event from THREE unique perspectives; Adam Casmiri/JDMYARD K-Turbo Civic, multiple-time WTAC Open Class Champion, William Au-Yeung/PZTuning/Vibrant Performance K-Turbo Civic Coupe, a multi-time champion in his own right with wins all over, including some FWD records in North America, and your's truly. Watch as they continue to reset the record, experience the ups and downs of time attack, and hear some interesting insight from Au-Yeung himself...

Thank you for sharing this unique experience at Tsukuba Circuit. This years videos have been by far the best you have ever done joey! Not only is the coverage of the cars and event epic but the interviews and candid moments you caught in this video are amazing. The interviews with William had me tearing up with how special of a moment that must have been for him, a true dream come true. My favorite part being the Japanese guy losing his shit when the record time was beat by Will. I really hope i can make it to Japan one day, that is a true bucket list item for me after seeing everything you have shown me through your camera's lens. Can't wait for the next video Joey

Will seems like a great guy, happy to have him representing Canada! I heard he ran on semi-slicks to match the standard rather than his usual slicks too, classy move

Farintosh he switched back and forth. The record was set on the full slicks.

@@THECHRONICLES fyi the Hoosier A7's are considered a semi slick as well by Japanese rules ;)

Its absolutely ridiculous that Joey only has 40k subs when his channel is the most relevant for cars on youtube. This dude is in the real shit every video from both ends of the spectrum. I guess its cause he dosent post everyday and youtubes algorithm dosent throw him in the mix as much. Either way thank you Joey for sharing all this knowledge.

While Americans are making sure the paint jobs and stance on their Honda's are right both of these Australian and Canadian built cars are putting their parts to actual use. That pep talk at the end was great.

I guess if you don’t have someone from your country at Tsukuba trying to beat the track time everyone is just worried about paint jobs and stance. 🤣🤣🤣

Holy Grail video by far! this is amazing Joey!!! Big congrats to will / vibrant performance👏 honestly I think not having the map loaded on to his car is a better learning curve (my personal opinion), and it's a bummer adam@jdm yard had engine difficulties but he tried & that's what matters congrats to them as well. There's always next year.
