I totally envy binged a huge portion of your tutorials when I first started... (so that your name was a household mention) and once a gained some security in designing my own pieces I stopped watching tutorials all together.... BUT, I was gifted my first package of flat wire iver the holidays and came straight to this for some guidance. Thank you again... and I love your "practice makes progress". Your whole approach is so comfortingly and encouraging.

Ahhh. How gratified I felt as I watched you create this wonderful piece. It's been a great ride. You did produce a perfectionist piece. As an armchair quarterback I think that if you sat back at a distance you would have seen that it was absolutely perfect asymmetrically before the final add on. Thank you.

Hi Von! I'm a big fan and have been watching your tutorials for a while now, so THANK YOU for everything you do. I created those wrapped bracelets you mentioned early in this video, though I used a thick plain copper flat wire. I noticed while I was making them that I could slip the copper flat wire out when I was finished. I now use that style for bezels. I thought you might want to try :) I will try to attach some pics. No luck on the pics, but I can send them to your website :)

I have been watching your videos for a while trying to learn how to rap a 30 by 60 by 16 mil Stone for my Christmas present! I have been learning so much and also learning the different tools it takes to manage them. I still have no clue where to find a miniature anvil. I want one so bad! :-( I love your videos! You clearly understand how to do this. I will be using sterling silver wire for the stone. I want her to have a piece of beauty that Mom added her Special Touch to. Thank you for sharing! This truly has helped me a lot. Many blessings to you and your Channel! May we all go with peace!

Love it ! What kind of chain would you put with that? I'm always interested in what people do with chains. Maybe a video on choosing the perfect chain for a piece. I know people have their individual preferences. I'm just interested in how you, as an artist, would choose a chain to compliment your piece. Or maybe show several options. I 'm always interested in making hand crafted custom chains too.

A towel or beading velour/felt on your work surface will catch/save your stones/beads from escaping and possibly becoming a target of a mischievous feline. Mine loves to watch for an opportune moment to snag a "hockey puck" and shoot for the winning goal at the Stanley Cup Final.

I found your channel. -- I’m a little confused about wire. I thought the higher number the thinner the wire and the lower was the thicker wire. Am I correct? Just started making crystal and bead hanging type ornaments. So far so good. I’ve been using 22 gauge wire. They are a little stiff but still hang straight. Thank you so much for the inspiration.

You are so fun to watch and do beautiful work. I love how involved with your viewers you are, making us feel like we're right there with you and so friendly. I sell cabochons and make a little jewelry when I can find time while sitting with my daughter who has severe autism. I'd like to share my etsy shop info here if that's ok? Please forgive me and delete my comments if it's not allowed. Etsy.com search my shop KittysCabsNWire , I offer free shipping worldwide and 20% off on all repeat customers.
I commented to one of your viewers to guide them to my etsy shop to purchase cabochons from me if they'd like. Is it ok for me to post that info here? Please forgive me if it's not ok and please delete or let me know to delete my comments.
