One of my favorite carry pistols is a 2002 Robar full custom job on a Glock 21.
They did the slim frame way before Glock cable out with the 21SF.. The texturing was well ahead of its time.
They did all sorts of little improvements like rounding the trigger Guard as well as under cutting it.

That reset compared to the stock reset is just unreal. It's awesome he didn't make the break lighter because the weight from the factory is already perfect.

What is it about your grip that causes the slide to mot lock?
I've asked this before. He has a high grip that rides the slide lock lever and prevents it from engaging. According to John, the necessity of a reload is so unlikely that it's worth getting the better grip.

I realize this is an older video but I wanted to ask what are your thoughts on GrayGuns vs the Lazy Wolf. Now that you've had both for a while, which would you chose if you could only do one?
It's like asking whether the Ferrari is better than the Bugatti. I mean, they're not quite the same, but damn both are amazing. I would say Lazy Wolf's reset is an inkling shorter, both are unbelievable at reducing reset travel, and Bruce generally has a lot shorter turn around time. Both are great.

Gucci gun squad assemble! Current EDC is a STI DVC-P in 9mm with a RMR 1 moa, x300u, and a TTI magwell with a 140mm reload. Holster is a Tier 1 axis slim running a 3D printed claw of my own design. Total weight is 4.5 lbs. on a Blue Alpha Gear EDC belt.

Cool gun, congrats. Can't understand why you of all people would say the slide won't lock back because of the way you hold it and sound so accepting of that. Perhaps practise on the mat would help that.😉😁
Is that a HK Parts polygonal barrel? Before this video, I hadn't found photos of this gun with a RD milled; glad you showed us it's possible.
One tip: when you're showing us the reset/break, it'd be helpful to zoom in on the gun. Also, the background is black, so harder to make out the hammer movement.
Now...to P30L or P30?!

Congrats John she's smooth but I think I'd be a little upset if I spend all that money and time in it and the slide didn't stay open after the last round and I think I'd like to have a mounted light also
You said this the last gun before Robar closed. Closed as in out of business or closed temporarily? Would hate to see that company go away.
William Laird Robar is out of business. Wright Armory also in Arizona now does NP3 coating.
Why don't you run a light? There is almost no reason not to anymore.

Explain how having a light on your gun to identify your target/disorentate your target isn't necessary while you carry a gun? You only expect day time bad guys?
If your weapon has the option for a light paired with a holster, there’s no excuse for not running a light lol positive target PID is a thing and ESPECIALLY for CC, we should 100% be sure of our target and if they’re a liable threat or not. A handheld is legit but can’t argue that 2 hands on a gun is better than 1.
@vicvapor a handheld is cool, but now you have only have 1 gun on the gun. Now that goes into a whole bunch of other factors... weapon retention, accurate shots, recoil control, etc. a WML has its role and there’s really no excuse for not having one other than can’t find holsters or gun doesn’t work with one
