I'm only 3 minutes into the video. I must say, thank you for your transparency. Over the years I've seen RUclipsrs try to deny and hide changes to their hair due to heat. We live and we learn. Wishing you the best on your continued hair journey.
Girl i also got severe heat damage on my curls to the point that i can only see a tiny bit of freeze on my roots. And I'm watching your video while crying cause I'm afraid that means i have to cut my hair and go bald
I’m so sorry…have you tried olaplex? My hair is getting better. If you do cut it, the good news is it WILL grow back but I understand how devastating it is. I hope everything works out for you 🤗
Your hair is so full and healthy looking, that it’s hard to detect the heat damage from an outsider, looking in. But I know that you and your stylist can 👀 😊. Thanks for sharing. Very helpful ❤
I just came across your video, and OMG you are heaven sent. I had a blow out 1 week ago and I notice that my hair is reverting. Heat damage. So with that being said I will be trying the Olaplex that I have sitting in my stash. Will let you know how it came out.
I’m sorry you going through this too. Definitely give it a try and follow those directions and let me know if it helps! This Sunday will be my 3rd treatment and it’s working 😊
I’m never cutting my heat damage off again because I did the big chop due to heat damage, and got heat damage after my first silk press after the big chop! so sad.
Your curls look beautiful but I think we really have to pick a lane between heat trained natural or curly natural. Some heat trained naturals have absolutely no breakage and their curls bounce right back but it also depends on how it’s straightened and how often and they usually don’t go for the bone straight look. The curls may be looser when wearing wash and gos after straightened but some don’t mind. I’ve also seen curls bounce back with treatments and staying away from heat for a while
By chance did you rule out silicone or protein overload. I have never had heat damage. However, I am told that these situations can mirror eachother?!? Clarifying and deep conditioning with strictly moisturizing products may help.
You made a great point they can mirror each other. I use a clarifying shampoo when there’s too much build up or a moisturizing shampoo that thoroughly cleans my hair and scalp.
@@yolonaturally I am watching you video from all the way Germany. It’s the first authentic Video with prove. Not like all the rest! Keep that work up!! I hope to get mine back also as soon as possible

If Olaplex works for you, … you already know. I’m glad you have a plan to get that bounce back and thank you for sharing this.
Hey friend! Yes it’s one of the best treatments out there in my opinion. My hair is definitely getting better 😊
Add Aphogee 2step protein treatment. Is bomb for breakage and heat damage. Your hair is fine and might be overmoisturized.
Thank you for that recommendation. That was my back up plan if the olaplex doesn’t work because that stuff is powerful too!
Yes that works wonders. I’m not far from waist length using it

Hey! Thank you, it took me a while to figure out the problem. I just need to stay away from direct heat. Thanks for watching 😊
This video was so well put together! THE most informative one I’ve watched while I get my hair back to health. Thank you 🙏🏾
Thank you so much for your kind words. I pray your hair recovers quickly! 🙏🏽🙏🏽
It came out full looking. Thank you for sharing your Olaplex journey with us!!

You’re welcome. Thanks for watching 😊
Lol didn't notice the clip until you mentioned it. Videos don't have to be perfect, nothing is perfect. As long as the message comes through. 😊
Thank you 😊

Oh no! I’m sorry that happened to you

You have beautiful hair ❤ I try to do a hot oil treatment at least every 3 months.
Thank you ☺️. Hot oil treatments are lovely. Especially when the oil is warm 🥰
Thanks for sharing this is helpful ❤
Thank you, I’m glad you find it helpful 😊
You are so cute ❤❤😊thank you!!
Thank you ☺️

How long did it take you to repair the damage?
I’ve been using it for almost 3 months now. It’s almost gone. I’ve got an update video coming soon 😊
