    I'm only 3 minutes into the video. I must say, thank you for your transparency. Over the years I've seen RUclipsrs try to deny and hide changes to their hair due to heat. We live and we learn. Wishing you the best on your continued hair journey.

    If Olaplex works for you, … you already know. I’m glad you have a plan to get that bounce back and thank you for sharing this.

    Add Aphogee 2step protein treatment. Is bomb for breakage and heat damage. Your hair is fine and might be overmoisturized.

      Thank you for that recommendation. That was my back up plan if the olaplex doesn’t work because that stuff is powerful too!

    Your hair is so full and healthy looking, that it’s hard to detect the heat damage from an outsider, looking in. But I know that you and your stylist can 👀 😊. Thanks for sharing. Very helpful ❤

    I just came across your video, and OMG you are heaven sent. I had a blow out 1 week ago and I notice that my hair is reverting. Heat damage. So with that being said I will be trying the Olaplex that I have sitting in my stash. Will let you know how it came out.

    Girl i also got severe heat damage on my curls to the point that i can only see a tiny bit of freeze on my roots. And I'm watching your video while crying cause I'm afraid that means i have to cut my hair and go bald

      I’m so sorry…have you tried olaplex? My hair is getting better. If you do cut it, the good news is it WILL grow back but I understand how devastating it is. I hope everything works out for you 🤗

    I’m never cutting my heat damage off again because I did the big chop due to heat damage, and got heat damage after my first silk press after the big chop! so sad.

    Your curls look beautiful but I think we really have to pick a lane between heat trained natural or curly natural. Some heat trained naturals have absolutely no breakage and their curls bounce right back but it also depends on how it’s straightened and how often and they usually don’t go for the bone straight look. The curls may be looser when wearing wash and gos after straightened but some don’t mind. I’ve also seen curls bounce back with treatments and staying away from heat for a while

    My hair is naturally dry so i like to mosturize. But you said to much product buildup will stop olaplex from doing its job so wjen can i use water/leave/oil then olaplex?

    By chance did you rule out silicone or protein overload. I have never had heat damage. However, I am told that these situations can mirror eachother?!? Clarifying and deep conditioning with strictly moisturizing products may help.

    • @yolonaturally
      @yolonaturally  11 месяцев назад

      You made a great point they can mirror each other. I use a clarifying shampoo when there’s too much build up or a moisturizing shampoo that thoroughly cleans my hair and scalp.
