Got mine today on launch day, switched from att to verizon last night as well and honestly couldn't be happier. Saving 25% on my phone bill while getting the best 5g on the market. On top of that, every phone that swapped got a $250 credit so our bill is technically free for like the next 8-10 months. Also, traded in my iphone X for $550 so essentially got my 12 pro for $200. Definitely worth the upgrade and loving mine so far!

@@TuftyyFN it’s rly good. I think it’s up to 9 hours straight on average brightness. Depends if you play games or just watch RUclips/anything else. If you play a lot of games, it will take up more battery. If you’re just using for basic lifestyle it’s up to 9 hours. Hope this helps

The problem is we've hit a time in smartphone tech where we're at incremental gains and improvements. All the products coming out are so polished. You're not really going to get anything massive unless it's gimicky.
Well they don’t innovate now they did back then now they just following what everyone does after 2 years they do that and they give it a fancier name and change it a little bit and sell it it was technology company back then and it’s only job was to innovate now it’s a fashion brand that has technology in it
Really we’re way beyond that at this point at the rate of technology advancing and how good phones are. Apple isn’t expecting somebody with an iPhone 11 to get an iPhone 12. They’re expecting to get somebody with a 6s or 7 Plus or many of these Pre iPhone X phones to see these and want to upgrade. Those are massive leaps and changes for a lot of people. Because in the end it’s all about consumers upgrading. Not the very very small group that get the new phone year to year.
@@theharesbreath this has 2 battery swaps over the years. It’s in need of a new one again but I think I can hold this battery a bit more time. It’s at 76% and has peak capacity. Doing around 2:35 screen on time with iOS 14.1

Is it just me or the pictures from 11 pro look much better and sharper than the 12 pro on the main wide camera. Not sure how anyone’s not seeing that especially the guy who is reviewing the phone .. Only see improvements on telephoto and ultra wide camera.
Having kids is exactly why I explain to my wife it’s important to always have the best available camera. She doesn’t keep up (iPhone 8) but always mentions how good pictures and videos I get of our son look.
Why upgrade the iPhone when you can buy yet another pair of shoes that match the purse?..... I am not talking about this purse! that one! come on! Plus you already got the good pictures! Duh!
@@JRCxyz exactly, i actually loved it at first cause it's amazingly built and the software was super fluid, optimised and super easy to use, but after some time I found iOS very restricting, android is way more customisable and multitasking is actually possible.
@@Edwin.X because the rumors were right regarding the iPhone 12, specifically the integration of mag safe and a non 120hz screen, the only thing the leaks got wrong were the new airpods, so given that the next iPhone will most likely have that higher refresh rate but also move to usb-c I think the wait would be worth it.
I got my 512GB graphite Apple iPhone 12 with black mag charger and case two days ago! It feels so much like an iPhone 4 with like a super OLED display!! So, just imagine when we are able to get the Max Pro!!!

Verge is the only review that matters. The rest of the internet can use glitchy sounds and hue bulbs on their videos all they like, but the verge always answers the questions I have in the end.
Not recommending an upgrade in the middle of the pandemic is the honest truth that many people need to hear. We of course all have different financial situations. I’ll be handing over my iPhone 11 to my sibling, who has an iPhone 7, and I’m waiting to see the size of the mini before deciding between that and a regular 12

I'll be honest, I bought the 11 pro because it was the shiny one. A year later, I still love it and as much I want the new 12, I don't feel like I need it.
How is magsafe more convenient than just plugging in a lightning cable? Also you cant call it wireless charging anymore with that oversized wired wart attached to the phone.

What’s the benefit of a MagSafe charger over the same powered standard charger? Both have wires connected to an outlet so I’m having difficulty seeing the benefit
It's a solution in search of a problem. Little more than an attempt to bring in extra revenue.
