Lol I have my wife's ps4 & I have my ps5. You can cross play between them and I usually buy 2 copies of co-op games like this to play with my wife from time to time.
Kinda wack that a single player game has an achievement for 2 players. Yeah raid mode is online coop but come on
IKR. Raid mode was designed as a co-op game mode and it made it brutal to do anything without assistance.
RE Rev is fun but frustrating at the same time. The amount of time spent on Ghost Ship alone is quite challenging, let alone doing it solo. Love your videos, keep it up!
Yeah I really enjoyed the game even with the control flaws but then I hit raid mode and it just went down the comode from there.
Especially the triple objectives of accuracy, no damage, and speeding through the levels. I know your pain.

Thats a cool little fun fact that speaks volumes about his character. Kinda makes you realize why he became an alcoholic in RE6, since like all of his dudes died.
That's not true. It was getting his ass beat by weaker in code veronica I what made him start to work out. He was already bigger here that his usual self in the past games.
And yet he still went on to lose like 2 dozen men across all of RE6 as well as Piers. Then there was the guys he lost in RE7. Seems like he got his shit together by 8 though.
It was definitely the roids that made him bigger lol
I mean part of being in any militaristic organization that involves some semblance of combat is that people will inevitably die. Leon never has to deal with it because he always works alone. Chris is the RE version of a great leader, but even the greatest military leaders that ever lived had Soldiers die. It's just the nature of the beast. But I don't count piers..he sacrificed himself to save Chris and I'm not bout to take that away from him lol.
Very nice job on the platinum! Be glad you decided to do the newer version since the older 360/PS3 version has a trophy to get 10,000 kills in raid mode instead of 1,000. You also get an XP boost in raid mode in the newer version
Gahdang 10K kills is insane. I mean I probably got close by the time I got this play knocked out but thats still a lot of kills. Super glad I didn't go for the ps3 version lol

@@platinumgamerscore think out of the ones you done 3 is the easiest ( well it’s the easiest that I found to do) I couldn’t to zero or this one or 7. I plat 4,5 and 2 haven’t played the rest of them
3 is pretty easy for sure. Especially if you do the ps5 version. I think it took me like 9 hours total for that platinum. I still think Code Veronica is the hardest overall
@platinumgamerscore 3 I didn't find too hard I managed to get perfect dodges first time on the zombies right at the front once you pass that first area it is a breeze.
I ended up boosting resident evil rev just gotta go back and do the story mode for it
@@platinumgamerscore I did it on the ps4 the in game timer said I played for around 13 hours. It was so easy because of the shop.
I plan on playing all of them, probably not going to platinum some of them. Just depends on if I really enjoy it and it’s not a 150 hour grind.
I did have fun with raid mode , but I never went too far with it. I don’t mind long trophy’s for example getting all the collectibles in assassin creed games (but this was a bit to much)

I've heard RE REV 2 is easier than RE REV 1. I'll definitely keep my eye open for the complete edition.
You can change your level and low level just needs to be equal to or lower than recommended level. After all, you can't be lower than level 1 yet still get lower level bonus on first level.
That's a fair point. I still think the lower level bonus is garbage though.
Lower level was the only bonus I got on ghost ship levels. I could never find all the enemies even though I went to every location possible and no damage was not possible because the under water enemies for one are hard to avoid in a level plus shadow Norman at the end was tough. I had to stun lock him with non stop rockets for 35 minutes to very slowly drain his health to kill him. Did that a few times actually hoping to get all 3 bonus weapons.
Yeah pretty sure no damage is only available when your gaming the system with a partner
I have done every single bonus in this game playing solo. Including the trinities of ghost ship and chaos. Everything solo.
I don't have infinite rocket, and l have never used it.
I can assure you all that you can make it all solo memorizing the mabs and the enemy positionings.
See I figured it was possible if you took the time to learn everything and grind out the best bonuses and weapons. Congrats fam!
It Is very possibile. And in the end, It wasn't even very difficult, when l learned every single Enemy: when and where they spawn...
Its not so much about the best weapons. How you position yourself, knowing the map and the enemies, is much more important.
For ammo, the First thing l wanted, was a couple of Cornucopia 3:s (trinity Abyss 18-19).
With enough ammo It Is, again: very possible
I’ve never really been a fan of raid modes in games(with a few exceptions). So it’s gonna take a lot from me to try and get this plat. And good works really enjoy your stuff

I was on progress doing something, like doing an S rank on all mission, collecting some sh**, but it's not enough...
There are tons of grinding Multiplayer trophies, hopefully the servers are still good.
A lot of people have suggested it recently. I'm not 100% sure if it'd be one I want to knock out but I'm definitely considering it.

Yeah, there's a reason that I don't have platinum in this game, I refuse to do any trophies that require that much grinding, and I generally don't do multiplayer.
I'm not an avid multiplayer trophy Hunter either. I typically play my multiplayers for games that don't have trophies. You're completely right the raid mode grind for this game is atrocious.

Bro, right now I’m just trying to get all the achievements in solo (I’m playing on Nintendo Switch) and I’m already starting to go crazy. Glad I found a friend in misfortune. Online in this game, at least on Nintendo Switch, is completely dead
Ps4 was pretty dead too. I got bailed out by a viewership still played and wanted to help. I can't imagine it on the switch, it was brutal enough on the ps5.
I was never more proud when i first got S rank on ghost ship. I love this game and i absolutely shattered it in the end. There was nothing left for me to do but i still grinded ghost to get every attachment i could find. Gluttony makes it so much easier!
Congrats on the S rank. I have definitely heard that gluttony makes it much easier, I just didn't want to spend 300+ hours grinding out the platinum just to do it solo. Raid mode was OK, I imagine it is infinitely more fun in co-op.

I'd love to see you borrow someone's gluttony (use their account) just so you can see how unbelievable that attachment is. I understand why most people don't want the grind involved in getting it.

Whatever the character says at the end determines your rank. The Revelation games are by far my favourites with 7.
RE7 is pretty dope NGL. I'm not quite sure if it's my favorite but I definitely think it's the "scariest" Resident Evil game they have made.

Yeah thats true. There in the Canon timeline, I think it just feels like a spinoff because it doesn't have a number in the title like the rest (RE2,3,4, etc.)
I've finally done it myself, but for that achievement that requirers 2 people, I jus used the achievement unlocker, because I have no freinds 😅. The worst thing about this was certainly grinding to reach lvl. 50, and getting S rank on abyss. For me ghost ship was easy, once I learned, that you can knife pretty much everyone until you get to the final room. The most important thing was to start ghost ship on level lower than 50, because from what I heard, Norman becomes more powerful, so I played this at 47 and managed to get an S rank.
Heck yeah fam Congrats on the Hundo-P! Even more kudos for doing it solo. After about 2 weeks of failure towards the end I realized that on console it would take me another month or so just to get the weapons and parts I'd need to finish so I grabbed some help but I did s rank every level completely Solo and that was a feat in and of itself so I know the struggle.
@@platinumgamerscore On steam, it's easier, some achievements are not present, some are changed, fe. on steam you need to kill 10,000 enemies instead of 1,000. But still console is way harder, so double-congrats for this.

Really there isn't that one on steam. I figured it would be sense it's the ultimate challenge in the game
:o I'm playing and about to platinum this game too but on Steam and with the help of some friends cause I don't have that much patience. I'm just missing the one for killing 10.000 enemies and it's easy but tedious, just to repeat low levels over and over to kill low lvl monsters.
Raid mode in revelations 2 is way more fun and totally doable solo... IDK why they made it so unbalanced and tedious to lvl up in this title.
Also PC version doesn´t have the ghost ship chaos.
Well that certainly sounds like an easier time on steam. It's reassuring to here that re rev 2s raid mode is a ton easier

Idk I thought that the story was pretty alright but the raid mode dragged the game all the way down. I was ok with the slime oozes but hated the skagdeads and the shielded enemies
I had to choose between this one or resident evil 4 the original one I took re4 I play it this morning the controls are confusing 😭😭but it's still looks fun so I'm basically taking it one step at a time while making videos of it

I did like RE REVs story, but definitely did not like the raid mode. It just felt like a slog after awhile, it would be much more fun with friends I think. I agree though you should give it another go, especially if you love it.

Hoesntly I would love to see Resident evil Revelations get a Remake. The monster designs were fantastic.
I'm not quite sure it will get the remake treatment sense it was a handheld port essentially but I think it would definitely benefit from a solid remake. Great story, coolish enemies, garbage extra mode though.

Ugh... I'm currently going back and getting the platinum on all RE games. I hate trophies that require online play. Luckily, it's only one, but still...
I mean there's only thr one trophy that requires 2 accounts to pull off. The raid mode solo is like a 300 hour grind if you do it solo.

Can I do it solo? Yeah, although for that I need to repeat and remember all enemy spots just so I don't get f*cked up by some random enemy, and I asked a friend to install the game, so we did the only coop achievement...
Like I said it is technically possible to complete solo if you have 2 systems and 2 copies of the game but I honestly do not think the game is worth the 300+ Hours it would take to 100% solo.
I woul hardly call it impossible unless you mean the one trophy for double hit.
I plated the game on PS3 and 4 it's grindy but hardly impossible.
Your mistake probably was trying to beat the ghost ship without grinding the ghost ship for illegal weapons parts which you don't lose if you die or quit the mission, so you grind the shortest path with the most parts until you get the best ones after that you grind the final boss for even better parts.
I 100% agree that is technically possible to Solo the platinum. You can even use 2 playstations to get the dynamic duo trophy. However, IOT do it the time sink would be astronomical and I just wasn't enjoying the game enough any longer to grind out the required parts and whatnot.
Nothing is impossible, don't let your dreams be dreams, Just..... DO IT!

The last one I got was the level 50 trophy. I only need to beat Revelations 2 and 7 I got them on my harddrive already but I have about 19 other games to beat and I don't know which ones I'll beat next. I'm playing Anno Mutaneium the PS5 version. Already beat 4.
Rev 2 I hear has an easier raid mode. I'm certainly glad to be past Revelations now. The rest are easy Jeezy lol. I feel the struggle on deciding what to play, which is why I started in on this challenge so it chooses for me.
@@platinumgamerscore I heard that as well. I'm a little worried about the RE7 trophies and playing first person.
RE7 is a breeze platinum. The hardest trophy is for beating it on madhouse difficulty but if you unlock the buzz saw first its not that hard at all. The DLC trophies are tough as hell but there not required for the platinum. Worth the time to play the DLC for sure but they don't count towards the platinum.

Yeah I'm super glad that RE5 was next, it's a nice reward for completing re revelations. If you have a couple good buddies to do re rev with it wouldn't be too bad. But either way totally loving RE5.
I spent 4 fucking months going through assault mode, it takes a lot of time and farming really good weapons, incredible game, terrible "mercenary" mode

You have to get 150 seperate medals on raid mode. Across the 62 levels, you can get 1 medals for killing every enemy, 1 medals for taking no damage, 1 medals for beating the level with a lower level than recommended, & one medal for getting all 3 of them in 1 run.
With Chris being useless as an AI partner maybe is why karma gave him a horrible ai partner in Sheva? Lol. Honestly I prefer og Chris over bulky Chris and I prefer Leon from 4 the most and I prefer Leon in general over Chris.

IKR I mean they can clip their projectiles through walls and they get an extra 5 feet of reach apparently. Needs a bit of adjusting if you ask me lol

I'll say this. Resident Evil 5 is a lot easier for the main story to get the platinum, but the multi-player trophies might be problematic.
Yeah I'm not a fan of the multi player trophies in any of these games. For video purposes I'm only doing the trophies that lead to the platinum trophy. I don't do DLC/extension trophies at this current point in time for the videos. If I do the DLCs it's usually on my own time.

@fown4906 I know it's not necessary but when I played Resident Evil 6 one of the multi-player games helped me unintentionally get the platinum. It was the melee trophy.

I was just going to get revelations raid mode another chance but after seeing this i'm thinking it twice 😅
Lol I don't blame you fam. If you got a homie or two to play raid mode with, this gsme isn't too bad at all. However if you attempt to solo it like I did, you're going to regret it very quickly, it's just a boring grindy slog to do it solo.
I'll admit for this one after playing a full gameplay of it and realizing how difficult and annoying it would be to play this game over again, I used Save Wizard to mod my saves and give Jill max herbs and items in the chest and would go through hard mode with yhe rocket launcher whenever possible though playing as Chris, Parker or Quint, I had to be careful and play legit cause they didn't get shit and some levels I about threw the controller but after finally beating them and making saves here and there, I was able to eventually get all my remaining missing trophies from main game and then went on to get easy S Ranks in mercenaries using the rocket launcher. I even resigned my save to be my friend's save and help him get all the trophies so easily cause I would defeat final boss to get trophies for beating main game on all difficulties plus scanning final boss was my trophy for scanning all enemy types. Even had a save just before 2nd last boss fight and fought her off again on hard difficulty using anything other than a rocket for that trophy. In the end I got all trophies minus 1. The one I could not get solo was fully charging a physical attack and landing it on a stunned enemy at the same time as ypur partner which meant I need an online partner for that.
Btw shadow Norman on ghost ship and 2nd ghost ship were annoying as hell. My only way to beat him was nonstop firing rockets at him for abput 35 minutes each time because it stunned him so I could keep attacking but each hit on him was only for 275 (using rocket launcher). Any other method of attacking did more damage to him but i could not avoid dying by him.
Shadow Norman is pretty brutal ngl.
@platinumgamerscore oh yeah without stun locking him with the infinite rocket launcher doing 274 damage per rocket for about 35 to 40 minutes, I could never have defeated him.

Why did you have to use knife only for the last few raid mode missions on solo?
You have to use the knife only until the final section or you won't have enough ammo. I wasn't using a cornucopia or gluttony parts so I didn't get any ammo refills except from enemy drops. Its pretty much impossible to beat the final raid mode missions with the weapons I had unless I knife all the way to the final circle.

im currently going for this paltinum, the raid mode grind is real im still on lvl 44 x.x
Bruh that grind from lvl 49 to 50 is insanity if you do it solo. Besides the grindy nature of raid mode the game isn't horrible overall

I'm about 1 hour away from that platinum currently. I just have to complete the final chapter and it's in the bag and ready to edit.
I respect your opinion. My most hated Resident Evil game is Resident Evil 0. Worst game I've ever played in my life.
I dont know. I kinda dig RE0 a bit but I can see why a lot of people didn't like it. It had a ton of issues that hindered gameplay and a ton of ways to soft lock yourself and the game become unbeatable. I can see why you wouldn't have liked it. I still hate RE REV the most though.

@platinumgamerscore I might do co-op having said that. I've done everything raid mode besides the co-op attack solo. All 3 sets of levels beat with S rank and beating Ghost Ship I did solo.
Nice. Thats one hell of an accomplishment fam. I'm sure there is someone out there that can help you get the duo attack. You can also see about hitting up some folks in the channels discord. Lots of people have been boosting this game in particular.

It can definitely be soloed if you want to sink 300+ Hours into the game. It can be done super easily with a friend though.
Can you please explain how to get rachel Ooze in 2024? I'm frustrated, and I don't know how to get bonuses
Pretty sure it just requires you to earn 100 bonuses across all the levels to unlock ooze racheal and it's 150 to unlock hunk (which is the best overall character)

Yes you have to get 100 different level bonuses. There are 4 per level.
- The no hit bonus
- Kill all enemies bonus
- Clear stage with lower than recommended level
- Trinity Bonus - get all 3 bonuses in one run
@platinumgamerscore I finished stage 7 today one time with being hit and killing all enemies and one without being hit but I could kill the puffer fish so I didn't get the all bonuses bonus how can I get the bonus without doing the same stage again?
You don't have to get all 3 bonuses on the same run unless you are going for the trinity bonus. I normally did 3 seperate runs on the tougher levels
1. Underleveled and just ran it as fast as possible.
2. Way overleveled and tried to not get hit.
3. Way overleveled and tried to kill all enemies. (Usually did 2 & 3 at the same time)

Damn I cheated with PS3, had a friend do the hard parts for me 😂 only now to this day I'm still working on the PS4 version and omg getting S rank on Abyss stage 20 is impossible, could not do it on Switch and can't do it on PS4. Same with finishing Inferno mode with Norman I just dare not do it.
IKR. I struggled for so long to S rank everything solo and only after 2 weeks of getting destroyed on ghost ship did I finally throw in the towel. I didn't think infernal difficulty was all too difficult but I've also played nothing but Resident Evil for 9 months lol.
@@platinumgamerscore I have my sister helping me and she's done so well to get me this far. On Switch she managed an A while I just keep getting B. I just don't have the patience for it. Inferno isn't too hard, it's the thought of taking on Norman that does it for me 🤣 the dodge mechanic is so bad in this one, its like the og 3. I wish they'd allowed you to be any level you want like in the 3DS version, make it that bit easier.
Also shadow Norman, we managed him once now we're just failing. Don't know how people have the patience to do this 😕 RE net isn't much help when people are constantly going for top rank either 🙄 😒

Ikr it's pretty insane because the dodge is so bad. I basically got to the point where I used the best dodging character and just constantly rotated the left stick in a certain manner to essentially "always be dodging". Even that was only 50% effective.

I want it for myself and he doesn't like revelations at all so I thought I'd help him get his last trophy as well. Once I get that trophy (and same would be true for him) I'll have platinums and or 100 percents on all resident evil games except for code veronica.
I'm out of town and don't have time to revisit older games and still create new content but there's a ton of people in the discord (link in description) that have been helping each other with trophies for RE REV specifically.

You can platinum this game on solo. It is possible if you have 2 playstations and 2 copies of the game for dynamic duo. The real problem is that grinding out the weapons, parts, & upgrades that are required to complete raid mode solo takes around 200-300 hours. While it is technically possible I do not recommend it.

So I’mma say, personally, this is also the worst resident evil I’ve played
Given I haven’t played most of them. I’ve only payed re2r, 3r, 4, 4vr, 4r, 5, 6, 7, 8, this and it’s sequel, both chronicles, and maybe more im forgetting
I just think acting wise, gameplay wise, and mostly story wise this one just sucks all around and out of all of them this is probably the only one I dislike 🤷♀️
The sequel is pretty fun though and I won’t lie, this one’s mercenaries mode is *kinda* fun? Also, I don’t understand the whole “final boss is one of the hardest final bosses in resident evil,” I thought it was pretty easy but eh, I usually have more of a hard time with the first bosses in these games haha
Yeah its definitely a bottom tier Resident evil game for sure. I think most people consider this the hardest boss because the controls are terrible and make it near impossible to dodge any of his attacks on consoles. However, once you figure out his 3 moves and have a high damage gun he is a cake walk.

I probably could have kept pushing for it but ultimately I just didn't think it was worth the extra 200+ hour grind.
The saddest thing is ive completed raid mode in this game and in re revelations 2 ... By myself and i didnt have anybody to help me with the ghost ship on chaos and chasm , because people were so hard to find that played that mode and were fully lvled and the amount of time wasted and mentally crushing agony it gave me i would never wish it on another person.
Big facts fam. Completing raid mode was a Soul draining experience. Congrats on doing it solo, that's an insane accomplishment
