카라얀은 1969년 11월에 프랑크 교향곡을 파리 오케스트라와 녹음한 뒤어 1970년 10월 12일에 라이브 공연을 남겼습니다. 카라얀의 파리 오케스트라 공연과 베를린 필의 녹음을 비교하면 유난히 파리 오케스트라 공연의 템포가 느립니다. 이번 라이브 공연도 마찬가지로, 베를린 필하모닉은 파리 오케스트라 공연보다 더 웅장하고 약간 빨라진 템포를 느낄 수 있습니다.
Karajan recorded Franck's symphony with the Paris Orchestra in November 1969 and performed it live on October 12, 1970. Comparing Karajan's Paris Orchestra performance with the Berlin Philharmonic's recording, the tempo of the Paris Orchestra performance is unusually slow. As with this live performance, the Berlin Philharmonic is grander and has a slightly faster tempo than the Paris Orchestra performance.
