Shisui's name is written in katakana, so we don't really know the exact meaning behind it, but when I heard it I immediately thought of a 4-kanji compound 明鏡止水 meikyou shisui, where shisui means "still water", as in no ripples on the lake, indicating calm, serenity and peace of mind. Fit for a gentle, but strong warrior like him 😊 One of my favourite characters in the story, and this piece is one of my favourites, too ❤ Thank you for sharing!
Maybe you realised or not, but the way Sasuke is the "Shadow" Hokage now alongside Naruto, he is the living legacy of Itachi, who protected the Leaf, truly from the shadows, making him the pure "Hokage" or fire-shadow, the one who has the Will of Fire deep in his heart, ready to suffer in the shadows for everyone's good and waiting nothing in exchange. And while Sasuke could've stayed in the Village after he got freed, he decided to sacrifice most of his life after The War to protect the thing his brother lived miserably for. Sasuke is a the rogue anymore, he's changing what Itachi and Shisui tried, nearly succeded, but ultimately failed - the fate of the Uchiha. I don't now what is happening in the manga right now( I only know it's crazy), but Sasuke was my favourite character from the start and he will be up until the end if there is one. I bet Shisui, Fugaku and Itachi, maybe even Obito are watching him proudly.
This series NARUTO taught us a lot about life... i grew up watching naruto. I will definetly show this to my children in the future and let them learn life lessons from this great masterpecie...

@@fwdio1 in all fairness, I've tried watching Boruto and is so filled with garbage that has no bearing on the bigger picture. And I can't say any of the soundtracks were memorable either. Keep in mind that I was satisfied that I watched Naruto and Naruto Shippuden and liked the ending. I didn't mind that they moved on to the next generations. And I also think they did a fairly good job portraying the old characters, the changing times, etc. But going from Zabuza's genin exam to OMG! Teen girl drama and hamburger drama is a bit cringy, not gonna lie. It's also incredibly difficult to stomach how permissive the new Kage are, with people from different villages, no less. Boruto almost created an international incident between the Mist and the Leaf. Even in his stupid days, Naruto wasn't THAT stupid. But for a Mitsukage to allow that? I know there's more to the story and I was genuinely surprised to learn that Naruto and Kurama have developed further and attained a new form, but it's just all buried in that childish garbage.
I watched all of Naruto at the age of 33. This show is the greatest show of any genre I have ever seen. And I have watched alot of genres. The story is so beautifully crafted, and there are several times it made me cry. The show is a life lesson, and if I ever get kids, I will definitely watch this again with them. It left me with some of my most memorable soundtracks and characters that I will never forget(Jiraya, Itachi, Naruto, Kakashi and so many more).
Shisui is the most underrated character ..his kotowamatsuka is very powerful as hell i really want to see more of him using it and some battles with him and Itachi

Sasuke is a the rogue anymore, he's changing what Itachi and Shisui tried, nearly succeded, but ultimately failed - the fate of the Uchiha.
I don't now what is happening in the manga right now( I only know it's crazy), but Sasuke was my favourite character from the start and he will be up until the end if there is one. I bet Shisui, Fugaku and Itachi, maybe even Obito are watching him proudly.

I think kabuto is one of the most underrated characters, he is hated so hard for bullcrap. He may be a bad guy but even though he has felt pain like no other. Even in the end there was no one for him. The only one who was there for him was a foster mother he killed him himself and who forgot about him because brainwashed, then used by orochimaru for evil. He was made a bad guy like everyone in Naruto.
Shisui was one of the most inspiring characters in Naruto.

@@fwdio1 in all fairness, I've tried watching Boruto and is so filled with garbage that has no bearing on the bigger picture. And I can't say any of the soundtracks were memorable either. Keep in mind that I was satisfied that I watched Naruto and Naruto Shippuden and liked the ending. I didn't mind that they moved on to the next generations. And I also think they did a fairly good job portraying the old characters, the changing times, etc. But going from Zabuza's genin exam to OMG! Teen girl drama and hamburger drama is a bit cringy, not gonna lie. It's also incredibly difficult to stomach how permissive the new Kage are, with people from different villages, no less. Boruto almost created an international incident between the Mist and the Leaf. Even in his stupid days, Naruto wasn't THAT stupid. But for a Mitsukage to allow that? I know there's more to the story and I was genuinely surprised to learn that Naruto and Kurama have developed further and attained a new form, but it's just all buried in that childish garbage.

I watched all of Naruto at the age of 33. This show is the greatest show of any genre I have ever seen. And I have watched alot of genres. The story is so beautifully crafted, and there are several times it made me cry. The show is a life lesson, and if I ever get kids, I will definitely watch this again with them. It left me with some of my most memorable soundtracks and characters that I will never forget(Jiraya, Itachi, Naruto, Kakashi and so many more).
