You haul some of the largest, heaviest loads of any hotshot hauler I have ever seen on RUclips! You are right, they would be unsafe - especially at highway speeds. I imagine these you showed us today were very hard on your trailer suspension and the tires. Do loads this size pay more than usual rates? Good video! 😊👍
Brings back memories, I used to build, install, and service overhead cranes and spent many long hot days in power plants and steel mills. Great video, thanks!
Stay away from heavy loads. I've had rims break, bearings go out and in alot of other videos my leaf springs break. Don't take heavy loads... not worth it.
Glad to see you got the load done that was some weight. Me I would not try that not worth what could happen for some extra dollars, ending costing years of paying out in more insurance premiums if it all went bad.
Too many dropping rates on hotshot nowadays and some are really really reckless drivers and the ones that been doing this business for years are paying the price of wannabes dropping loads prices ...! But hey $&$$&$&$!!! Now everyone on a pick up is a truck driver 🤦🏻♂️🤷🏻♂️🤷🏻♂️.......! Anyhow good videos keep the good work buddy
Why not prime mover and flatbed ? Do you sleep in the back seat ? I'm from Australia. Have 2 smaller trailers and what we call a ute (6cyl pick up) thinking hotshotting would be a good career. Thanks for the insight.
Thanks for watching. No.... hotshots shouldn't haul the heavy loads that I've have. I've been lucky that nobody got hurt, I've burt out bearings, sheared lug bolts with whole drum, rims and tires coming off, (at what... 900lbs) and have broken many leaf springs. With the utube videos coming out these days, hotshot trucking is getting flooded with non CDL drivers, a dime a dozen, driving prices down. I understand they are promoting to make the channel grow and are talking truth, but with all the wannabes, it killing the Hot shot trucking price. Thanks
@@hotshotadventures3036 Thank you for the honesty, I like watching the videos, I'm no hotshotter, I but I am a freight agent. New Hotshotters are spending a fortune on new trailers, and trucks, and prices are going down b/c the youtube craze has flooded the market as you know. @@hotshotadventures3036 ive thought about it so i could warrant a little bit nicer one ton and a big trl since i go to one tractor show a year for now and take the tractor to church but the wear and tear and trying to run your own business. I have seen locals here in central florida hauling 30000lb excavators and loaders with a dually and a dual tandem goose neck. I dont see really anything wrong with it. I use to do 5 to 11 axle heavy haul
What equipment are you using that allows you to carry that much weight? What are their pertinent ratings? Aren't you exceeding your GCWR? Thanks! (liked and subscribed 😉)
Im not sure this load is safe for your truck. i purposely stayed under 40000 gcwr on my new ram 3500 aisis HO diesel. im not dissing you i swear, but dont think these trucks should be near the upper end.
Hot Shot Adventures That’s what I was wondering about; If you ever had any issues with the overall length? Silly regulation anyway. Bed/no bed, like it makes a difference.
Where did you learn how to tarp a coil? Tent! And how many chains did you have? 3? How much did the coil weigh? You didn't say. I wouldn't be clapping at the end. This video showed a complete lack of formal professional training and professionalism. No wonder hot shots get pulled into inspection more often than professional flat bedders. They're not professionally trained in the flatbed trade...
Ha.... come on.... you only see 3 chains in the coil?? How would only 3 work? That tells me your a MORON. Please think about what your seeing and don't be jealous, keep you ego in check. Thanks for Watching and commenting.

Yes they did, but not using that trailer anymore and not taking loads that heavy.
Limiting at 18,000 lbs.

Cool Bo Duke, thanks for watching.

I give you props for carrying heavy loads like that with what you have. Not many would attempt it.
Thanks.
Man I'm trying to stay away from loads, like this and I have 2019 ram5500, and 30000 pound GVWR trailer. And u doing it, with ram 3500, very brave. 👍

why not use a semi-truck for these type of loads?

Yeah.
Maybe local ok.
But I keep busting springs long haul.
Need better suspension.

Did you add an axle on your trailer or is it a different one. You sure are hauling some weight these days.
This is an older trailer I used to run. 10,000lb each.
Dont run it no more.
Also extra on tolls.
@@hotshotadventures3036 but did you add the axle?

Is the extra axle the reason you can haul so much weight?
No.
Each axle is rated 10,000 lbs.
@@hotshotadventures3036 I'm even more confused now. Please do a video on how you're able to carry so much weight.
Wait, you have triple duals. Those look lile 10K axles

So you don't have a Record button?
Well these runs were before I started my channel. Just trying to include them.
I will do more video.

Truck and trailer total length? You look long.
45 ft trailer.
That put me at about 70.
Yes with the bed on the truck I was not legal in Some jurisdictions, but never got hassled.
