  • In this video, I have taken the most important topic of CFD i.e. Compressible flows. i have taught basic things about how to do analysis of compressible flows by taking example of Rocket Engine Nozzle....and import geometry on it which is attached below

i don't get how does this geometry represent the rocket nozzle? the bottom left of geometry represents half CD nozzle but why is it half? and why is there that gap in the geometry? kindly answer

why did you use Air as fluid? you should have specified the propellant and its characteristics, no?

Yeah but they might have designed it for air. If you are building a rocket engine nozzleyou would have to enter the propellant combusted properties and not the propellant properties
      If that helps

@@chrislenard_9297 Its a con-div nozzle and the title says 'Rocket Engine Nozzle'. Why would anyone use air? I dont get it

Can you please tell me how to make a research topic on it. what are the variables, what we have to check n all?
Please please must reply! I need help in this.

Yes brother! It is not my concern research area....but if you want to conduct a research just read the research pprs related to it.
And I'm interested too in that research area but yet have not done any work. If you are interested we can make a duo.

@@AnsysLearningPoint ya but first tell me the name of this nozzle, rocket bell nozzle, double bell nozzle, or another nozzle. After that, I can do research on it.

    Hello brother.
I dont understand Urdu Language, can you please explain what did you say about operating conditions in English? Can you explain why did you set it to zero?

    • @AnsysLearningPoint
      @AnsysLearningPoint  3 года назад

Because we have provided the gage pressure valve and when we talk about gage pressure, the operating pressure set at 0 as benchmark

And sorry for the late reply I'm little bit busy elsewhere

Can I ask you one more question, is it possible to set the boundary condition on the Fairfield as pressure Fairfield rather than wall?

Hey I am working on something like this would like to learn how you got geometry.
Which paper or have you used method of characteristics.....

Okay I will make a tutorial on this and also upload geometry of this.
      Thanks

It is just for learning if you have this type of research topic but didn't know how to make this simulation in Ansys,,this is for that purpose
