    I mounted mine on a platform with wheels and it takes the wobble. Thanks Randall!

    Thanks Randall, I really appreciate and look forward to your video/content. I am particularly interested in your clarifier set up... at the moment, that is my bottleneck. Likely my next purchase for next year's extraction.

      The clarrifier and pump has eliminated 95% lifting of 5 gallon buckets of honey and straining honey. Tge clarrifier replaced 2 setd of strainers. It has also made extracting easier and quicker. My bottleneck now is extractor capacity.

    Love the barrel fill with the board. I hope you don’t mind if I use that. 👍🏻👍🏻

    Randall very good setup! Can you pass on a link for your lift. I'm assuming it works lifting supers off the hive.

      Thank you. Beehivelifters.com
      I have picked up as many as 5 full mediums with it with no issues. The colony will have to be flush from ground up. If not it will not catch the hand holds.

    How do you minimize the amount of bees you take away form the bee yard when you pull boxes? Do you also have another trick for the ones that end up in your honey warming shed?

    • @randallcarter-carterhillho2277
      @randallcarter-carterhillho2277  Год назад +1

      I use fume board and blow out with gas powered leaf blower. In the warming room the bees usually gather near a window or light source. I vacuum them up with small hand held cordless vacuum and release outside.

    Randall, I glad you’ve figured out ways to o make it easier on you and your family. As you well know, the less lifting you have to do the less back pain you have! After 3 back surgeries I’ve finally figured that out. lol

    Do you freeze your honey suppers before removing moisture? I have a tough time with hive beetles and wax moths if I don't freeze them before extracting honey.

      No, i do not have access to a freezer that big. As long as i get it extracted in less than 4 days i do not have issues with shb.

    God Bless the family. My wife, daughter and son only help me eat the honey.

    What a GREAT setup. I know there are always things people would like to change to make there setup more productive and it looks like you are well on your way . I also use a Maxant extractor but I am hearing great things about the ones at Hillco. American made and built very well and the prices are VERY affordable and they also are building in house a lot of other new products that looks very nice . Just something to think about next year . Thanks for the update. I hope it all does very well for you. It is great to have family in there working right there with you. Thanks for the update. Thanks Randall

    I also use the same uncapper. I use a Little Mule frame grip. It is a compound grip. Requires almost no pressure to hold frame. Keeps finger away from the rollers.

      I used the uncapper one year. had so much trouble with it. un capped by hand the next year. just happened to see a RUclips video on using it. have never seen again. they were using frame grip. and changing angle with frame to uncap shallow drawn frames. it's been a game changer got me. I have never seen the video again.

    Randall, nice job! Where did you get the bigger strainers from? Also, Harbor Freight sells a floor scraper for like $15..longer handle for your wife.
