This music always makes my heart ache-something about its muffled, almost solemn keystrokes echo throughout my very bones-im crying, yet there are no tears.
The music conveys the sadness that comes with experiencing a long series of disappointments to where a future of fulfillment feels unachievable for oneself. It’s like Nishimiya is looking out for the happiness of others as would someone who has accepted their life has already ended.
@@austinbunny4012 Oooh you're a fan of Land Of The Lustrous!! I love that anime! :-D Either way I'm not sure why most of the OSTs only have 3 letters, sorry about that. :-(
@@ren0511 Don't worry about it, there's probably a meaning behind the three letters but yeah I do love the anime Land of the Lustrous! I can't read the manga though since I don't know where to look for it!😃
There's something about Koe no Katachi that has always made me think humans are fascinating. In a strangely good and bad way. There will never be a manga/movie like Koe no Katachi again. This isn't just a random anime. The story tells so many things at once. And the fact that Yoshitoki Oima was 18yo when she wrote It makes it even better. It's just a masterpiece above everything else. I remember when people tried to compare Koe no Katachi and Your Name. (: Not even close.
The way the song sounds so distant I feel like is a reference to how Nishimiya was playing the xylophone was a kid yet she couldn't understand why the sound was so distant.
I'm sorry that I ever hurt you. I'm sorry that we hurt eachother by not being there. I accept it but know I miss watching this movie with you. I miss how you stayed with me and laid with me in silence. When I am comfortable and needed you. You listened. I miss it
This comes when Ueno drags Nishimiya to the Ferris wheel… I really want to slap the shit out of Ueno I swear. When Yuzuru shows Ishida the video of the Ferris wheel they should’ve gone to Ueno and told her to get a life and stop being such a b****. Why did they keep talking to Ueno after all this? This anime breaks my heart with how harsh people can be to people who have no choice but to be the way they are and nothing is even wrong with how they are…
this is when naoka meets shoko again and tries to tease her, thinking shoya would join in like before, but then she leaves because she realized he changed, and returned shoko's hearing aid that she snatched. shoko asks what naoka and shoya were talking about. he says it was nothing, then he makes the "see you" sign, she smiles which is this photo. so a little before making it halfway into the movie.
This is the most underrated anime background music ever, hands down.

The sadness in nishimiya’s face
And pain
gets me sad every time
That look is the embodiment of sorrow.
No, no, not sorrow. This is pain. I can see and feel that now
I wish I was her friend
I dont hatte you... i hate myself...
oh man make you in your feels.
man this is a stab in my heart
gomennasai
dont remind me man, T_T
Poor Shouko….
Man I wish I could experience this anime for the first time again.
Man, I felt apathetic and also got spoiled a little bit by Instagram comments by the time I first watched this movie on Netflix.
I don't. I've cried enough
i absolutely adore how the piano sounds so soft and distant, almost like it's being played in the next room
It’s like lo-fi but more depressing and difficult to listen to
Its how nishimiya hears things

I knew that sound can break glasses at hight pich but the one thing that I don't realised that my heart is waay fragile than glass.
Does anyone else know the reason why majority of the pieces are named after 3 letters?
I don't know if there's a sad story behind it I'm gonna cry EVEN MORE now 😭
