Nice. It is good to see that they decided on making new inner frame instead of opting for reusing the old frame. But I will hold back from getting this Rg in preparation for the Rg Hi-Nu gundam.
I'm more particular to MG kits. I might be biased though because that's where I started in gundam kits. I've yet to go a HG kit because I'm not a fan of color correction stickers because I'm not into painting yet. I pre-ordered this kit. My first RG kit was the Crossbone and I hear that's a small gundam, so I think I challenged myself without really knowing it. I have yet to completely finish that one as it has been panel lined but is sitting waiting for cleanup. I got this kit because I love the Gundam Wing series and all the gundams involved. My favorites are Deathscythe, Shenlong, Wing, and Heavy Arms. The rest are great, and the bad guy MS are different enough that it makes the universe feel like a completely deeper timeline unlike the UC and Seed timelines where the Ginn is basically a remodel of the Zaku.
@@Randomvideos-zi7pe the proto zero and the EW line is okay. The biggest issue is the poly caps if you ask me they could easily put out 10 new MGs in short order as well as an additional 4 with the tallgeese and epyon with updating the frames to not have poly caps. The market is starved so 3rd party kits are making a rise right now. It's a popular line, and most straight builders and reviewers will buy them up to show them off and help promote them. The seed line is another popular line right now and with the 00 line coming out once per year it seems, they need to fill the gap. The Blitz and Aigus aren't that popular in the seed line and are probably the least popular from that series, or that's how it seems with them being in stock with everyone for long periods of time. I wish they would produce more Dynames kits. I'm not a fan of the Virtue and it seems like it lacks detailed panel lines one the armor. Might try to get my hands on the metal build Dynames repair because it looks awesome.
Thanks for the useful review. I don't like how Bandai continue to make different variations of Wing even under the same grade. Maybe this is simply because of large number of die hard Wing fans who will buy all of them. But with so many gundams still with no kits yet, i hated their decision to make a new varaition of Wing instead...
IDK if it's because of the camera, but the blue on this Wing Gundam looks too bright... I guess I'll just stick to the HGAC version. That being said, hopefully Bandai releases an HGAC Tallgeese after Shenlong.
It's not the camera, they literally brightened up the blue among many other things. I'm not backing down on my ranking as it's a good kit inherently, just not a good Wing Gundam. This thing reeks of troubled development.
@@mj2005gundam oh, so it really does look too bright. I do agree with your ranking there, as I feel the same about this kit... and as someone who loves the RG line, IMO it doesn't seem "realistic" enough to be a real grade kit feature-wise. This is quite an oddball among RG kits NGL
Because the HG is a good enough kit as it is and an RG is really not necessary, it's to give a clearer view on each's strengths and weaknesses for people who are on the fence. And since the RG Wing EW is made with the dreadful pre-made frame, there's no competition as to which RG Wing Gundam is the better one.
I don't have any RG wing , but I would probably buy the RG wing ew ver~ cause I like the design a lot, but early RG is kinda not that good unless for statue like display ~
Not Is eagle Is chicken mode, AND weird because the feets áre the yelloy claws, then why turn the legs down?, Better Bandai can be Made the wing MG ka like the wing Zero custom
This looks good, but with all that movement, I see this getting flimsy after a while. I like the hgac wing, it's a solid kit and I've had it going on a year and it's still a 5 star kit imo

I’ll do the same ngl
Kinda disappointed that the kit doesn't have cockpit hatch. But still, gonna buy this
Strange for a RG
the only thing i didnt like is the chest. RGs usually make the designs slimmer/angular but i guess they went the opposite way this time
Great review!
I just dont think that the articulation is inferior because nobody is going to fully bend the elbows and knees to pose this kit
Although the detail is good and great engineering i just like the simple design and more articulated HG

The hg looks bad its needs a 3.0 tbh. Hate how the head looks
@@Randomvideos-zi7pe the MGs need a 2.0 in the AC line.
@@Deathbomb9 I think the MG is quite alright tbh, but I do agree a renewal can be possible.

I can say this rg is miniaturized of mg with different wing style. The reason i pre order this although i have mg
nice kit but the HGAC color looks far better imo
Noice! Thanks for the review
this looks really nice next to the rg tallgeese add the tv colors and its perfect

Tallgeese looks so good side by side
All that I'm worried about, is if you pull the waist joint slightly, is it still sturdy? Or you should push it back to keep it steady?
It's less sturdy, but sturdy enough to keep a pose
@@mj2005gundam Thanks man, I'm still planning on buying this in the coming months. :)
my army of 15 HG Leo nad their Leader the RG Tallgeese is waiting for RG Wing Gundam TV ver...!!!

🤩🤩🤩
The innerframe has Bayverse Optimus prime feets
All for the toe joint
😍
My subtitles:the Bean stalker
Not all accents are treated equally
you make it do the Macross GERWALK mode huehuehue..
Why compare it more on the HG and less on the RG Wing EW?

Im gonna pick this up to pair with my rg tallgeese but the bird mode is still the dumbest thing to me 😑

Time to dig up those dinosaur books to see what that weird mode is actually a reference to
Chicken head? I bet you have no idea why it's there
Already bought the MG last year, and after this review, It's a pass for me. I'll just get the RG Hi Nu.
If I were a normal consumer, I'd do the same

It uses the new RG frames so it won't be flimsy. You must be talking about the older frames which they don't use anymore.
I am very sure they're using new frame for this kit
Still prefer the HGAC one, rather than RG...
