Good clean work. I went with a tranghese design steering stem plate . Nice billet piece . Also a nice billet aluminum upper clamp.

I thought about looking into the aftermarket world for a replacement. Thing is the engineer in me sees a bad design and I immediately want to make it better.

what foot pegs are you using? stock pegs are terrible on this machine, rounded/slippery grip surface.

@@RCBGarage ahhhh I knew it lol I live in Maine, but my dad has 6 siblings in mass so we have huge family down tthere. All over. I knew the mass accent. That's awesome. And yeah I didn't take the motor out, or take the bike apart so ill be referencing ur engine vids for sure. I already learned about kawi swingarm spanner nut deal, which black wire goes to the sensor about starter, orientation of crank case vent etc. We just went to everett MA and bought 3 brand new machines. Me my girl and the kiddo.

I honestly dont think the oem one is worth the money. I bought mine and the shit rusted (maybe I shoulda paint it) in not even a season. I actually really like what you did with the pivotal point. its makes no sense at all for the ball thing that they have I just realized it probably wears the seals on the knuckle

It’s not the best design. It will be interesting to see how my mod holds up after a season of riding

The engineer in me likes to make a bad design better by fabricating something better.
