Yes, you are right about the couple. It's the same one Zuko saw in episode 7. And about the previews, I personally think you should just skip them. You're watching multiple episodes a week, so I'm sure you don't really need it, and there is actually a future episode where I think the preview sort of ruins a twist, by making it quite obvious. Not a big deal, but I think it would make the experience a bit better. Though you should definitely watch the preview of the series finale, but we're not quite there yet.
These two episodes are separate episodes"the serpents pass" and "the drill". I don't know why nexflix decided to combine them like this unless it aired this way originally and was split later like episodes 1 and 2 of season 1.
@Majin135 thanks for letting me know. I watched this show alot, but tbh I don't remember which episodes I saw when they initially aired and which ones I caught on a rerun. I must've either not caught this when it initially aired or I just don't remember them being one episode originally because I've rewatched it so many times it's kinda insane.
Netflix fuckery screwed up the episode count by combining several 2-parters into single episodes. Yes, that is the same pregnant wife and husband that Zuko chose not to rob in "Zuko Alone". They have a few more cameos at significant moments. Keep an eye out. :)
I think this episode demonstrates why you probably shouldn't watch the Previously segments. Would've been a lot more exciting to see suki and jet without it! Personally I think the previously ruins most episodes. Imagine watching the library without it, you might not make the connection to zhao right away so it'd be an interesting revelation. Idk just my opinion. Other than that, Love your reaction! I'm glad to see how much you enjoyed suki here. She's so great
Enjoyed your reaction to this episode, Matt. And you're right, the Sokka and Suki connection continues in later episodes. Be patient. Suki is a fan favorite.
The next 3 episodes are up on Patreon!

It did air that way originally

I believe they actually aired together in theatres, but I could be wrong.
Suki was originally a one of character but they brought her back because she was well liked.
Good decision imo
If she didn’t come back. The series honestly wouldn’t be as good.
I think they went underwater first so the fire nation wouldn’t see them.

Yes, it's exactly the same couple Zuko saw. You'll see them again in the background of other scenes. ^^
