A usually overlooked fact about Zuko is that while Azula is regarded as a firebending prodigy, Zuko is skilled with blades because he fancied it when Iroh gifted him one. To say that zuko is weak because he is not a fire bending genius is wrong. He is an excellent blademaster, and to incorporate firebending in it is something not all firebenders are good at. Zuko is very good, it's just that his family only sees firebending as the only skill that matters. It was Iroh's gift that led him to the path of using blades.
In a world of bending, yes blademasters are irrelevant, in terms of power that is.
The master that taught Sokka, was Zuko's blademaster. I read it somewhere
@@mariemarie3045 Too bad no one coulda taught Bumi to be a blade master. Imagine if Sokka, Zuko, or if still around Master Piandao taught him. He could have incorporated air bending movement into it for an actual non-lethal sword style rather than "cartoon required" non-lethal swords
@@mariemarie3045 You're spoiling stuff that doesn't even happen this season. Let them find out on their own.
Yeah, because using martial weapons is considered a non-bender way of combat.@@andylarkin5779
I've watched this show several times, but only now I noticed that Zuko actually misunderstood his mom's words about not forgetting who he is. Right in this episode, she tells him in the scene with Azulon: never forget who you are. You're the one who never stops fighting, even if others have stopped.
Finally found someone else who noticed this. You are correct!
Yup. Kids are dumb and don't always "get it" even when they think they do. This is also why we know what happens with Zuko later, he's still holding onto his birthright
I agree! You’re slightly misquoting though. It’s “You’re someone who keeps fighting even though it’s hard”
That’s definitely not what any of that means.
Toph's attitude can be explained by what she was running away from back home. She's determined to pull her own weight because everyone had done things for her, due to both her blindness and her family's status. She feels she has never experienced true generosity and kindness, only pity or obligation. Toph also had a very insular, isolating childhood. When she wasn't being protected or pampered, she was likely getting teased when sneaking out of her family's compound and exploring the city on her own. She has never truly had friends, thus Toph adopted the gruff, abrasive exterior to protect herself.
Of course her attitude would clash with rest of the group. Not only have they been with each other for months, but working together was a necessity in the South Pole's close-knit community. Katara especially took a role in this as a motherly figure.
Really hope you guys will react to the legend of Korra after this show. Even if you don't end up enjoying or liking it as much as this show, it adds so much to the overall lore, the animation is much better, the music stays incredible, and there are some very interesting new characters you get to meet. And also, it's very different, with very different themes, and the characters struggling with entirely new things compared to avatar the last airbender, especially Korra, who's a very different kind of Avatar than Aang.
Fun fact: When they all launched an attack at Azula, you can also see Sokka throwing his boomerang 😁
And he was the quickest one
I think the assumption made that with Iroh as Firelord you wouldn’t need the Avatar to end the war is incorrect. Iroh is a warrior, honest and brave, fierce but still tempered by kindness. But, he wasn’t a conscious objector or a rogue prince, he actively prosecuted the war (likely in a more charitable/merciful way than his peers though). No one came closer to taking Ba Sing Se than himself, and before that he probably had a storied career of other victories and occupations. Really, what makes Iroh the Iroh we know and love is the death of his son. If that hadn’t happened and there was no palace coup, I think the Dragon of the West would’ve readily finished the war his forefathers started.
true but I feel like Iroh would be the type or firelord you can reason with
Aang could probably talk to him and agree on something
@@davidnobre5660 If it's after his son's death I agree. The Iroh before wasn't the same Iroh we know, which is something he himself acknowledges.
Iroh was judged worthy by the Dragons before the siege so I imagine that if he succeeded, and became fire lord he would probably have legitimately tried to unify the nations and world in the way fire nation propaganda claims they were doing. I don't think he would succeed in it but I feel like he would try to do on his own in a sorta Avatar role but without disillusionment of the conflict he would need someone like Aang to challenge him to find some sort of common ground.
Lots of people forget that Iroh sieged Ba Sing Se for over two years. That means starving tens of millions of civilians for two years. Even Zuko admits that Iroh was once a bad man.
I think Ozai was just the biggest bastard out of all of them. Azulon cared enough about his son that he was angry with Ozai for talking shit. Sozin... Without spoiling too much at the end of the day he cared about his people. Ozai burned his son's face and sacrificed his own people, both soldiers and civilians just to take out another nation.
Dante Basco's "LEAVE!" has stuck with me forever. So amazingly perfect with that delivery. Emotion was captured beautifully.
And Maddie's "NO!" when Iroh gets hit was so genuinely beautiful lmao
I think this is the first REACTION they have to an episode, or at least some that actually will remember later
When Iroh looked at Toph he was putting 2 and 2 together that she was part of the Avatar’s team
Zuko Alone is such a good episode.
Yeah. Also, this show really started a lot of the shipping community, with people shipping the different characters in countless ways and combinations.
Zuko Alone is regarded as one of the best episodes in the series. We get to understand more of Zuko’s backstory, him as a character, and why he is the way he is. We also get to see how Azula was as a child, as she clearly takes after her father.
Even though Azula is clearly a daddy’s girl, and was the “perfect child” of the family, she too has insecurities with the family, particularly wanting approval from her mother. This will be explored a little bit in the next season.
It makes me kinda sad when people write Azula off as a "psychopath." Yeah, she has very troubling behaviour, even as a child, but that is 100% Ozai's doing. He has molded her into this, encouraged her worst tendencies. I think without Ozai Azula would still be very cunning and precise, but she probably wouldn't be as cruel and vindictive. Ozai is the one who taught her that everyone else is beneath her, and that she needs to use fear to control everyone else.
sociopath? yes, psychopath? not really haha
Azula “takes after her father,” because she’s literally being trained by him, one to one.
Her mother doesn’t try and correct any of her behaviour. She literally watches her run past and says “what is wrong with that child?” Like, she KNOWS what’s wrong with her. But she’d rather protect poor neglected Zuko. When Ozais neglect of Zuko is what is making him a nicer person.
I wish we knew what age Azula started showing her bending powers and when Ozai took an interest, because she’s only about 10 in the flashbacks and she’s already miles above Zuko and way way better at bending.
Everything Azula says in the flashbacks is just her echoing what she’s heard Ozai say. EVERYTHING.
A small detail in the fight at the end that i like:
Iroh is obviously surprised to learn that Toph, who he met and talked with, is here and in a crew with the Avatar.
He is distracted by this for a single second and Azula immediately notices and snipes him.
Really great showcase of her attentiveness and precision while still being subtle and conveyed with simple editing to the point i only noticed this on my 3rd or 4th watch.
Also i dont think Katara was insulting her blidnness with the stars thing intentionally, the comment was supposed to be about the tent she is hiding in blocking her view but it came out a bit wrong :D
It was a very calculated move to go for Uncle Iroh, too, because she knows that in doing so, she'll hurt Zuko, too-- at the very least break his concentration. Two birds one stone. It's a manipulation tactic we see her do several times throughout the show; if Azula knows she can't beat someone, she goes after whatever/whoever that person cares about most instead.
12:28 Carter's face trying to get him shut up and not spoil anything is hilarious 💀
Bombastic stank eye 😂😂
Was so glad he said "but we can't explain why" 😂
Yes it's true that Iroh got a sec of distracted to see the blind girl he just met is part of Team Avatar. Azula saw and took that chance because she's so precise and smart and badass and perfectionist.
The fight between Aang, Azula and Zuko was made to take place in a western looking town as a homage to Clint Eastwood's movie "The Good, the Bad and the Ugly"
The entire episode was a tribute to the classic western "Shane"
@@plucas1 And the part where Azula instantly sees through the decoy reminds me of Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid 😄
also Zuko Alone is a very obvious homage to old westerns/samurai movies where the lone wanderer walks into town, gets into a problem, and is revealed to be extremely skilled, and leaves
those movies and that genre in general usually ends in a sad/melancholy tone which that episode catches perfectly, the kid doesnt even take the dagger because the disconnect from someone being fire nation is too strong
I've been binge watching most of your reactions for months now, And i gotta say I absoulutely love how chill and genuine all of your reactions are!
People don’t realise that Sokka’s a bender too. He’s the last backbender😂
🤣🤣
The fact that toph doesn't count sokka is pretty funny if you consider that azula's friends are also non bender (and ty Lee is crazy strong )
Respect to these guys for still making atla reaction vids despite their jujustu kaisen vids getting more views

Atla isn't current so it makes sense, plus it's getting old to the point that people who are in highschool were too young to have seen it on TV
@@skull1161Plus, as they mentioned, they're prepping everyone for the release of the new stuff.
It's old now, but new stuff is on its way.
I forget the name of the style, but Zuko intentionally not pulling out his sword fully is a part of that style. Basically, you keep the blade sheathed until you really have to use it.
Iai-Do is the style you're thinking of.
@@ShadowRyuThanks!
@@ShadowRyuI thank shadow fight 3 for giving me this knowledge.
A few fun facts:
Ursa, their mother, has the same VA as Azula.
In The Chase, Azula was the only fighter fighting at her peak. The Gaang were all tired, Iroh was travel weary, and Zuko was half-starved.
When they're all cornering Azula and Iroh gets hit, the Gaang throw everything at Azula: Aang, air; Katara, water; Toph, earth; and Sokka, bless him, throws his boomerang! You can see it stuck in the wall!
and if you slow down the frames enough you can see Azula deflects the boomerang first because she knew that would've incapacitated her first
What does VA mean? I'm sorry, but for the life of me, I can't comprehend what you're trying to say lol
@@carson9359VA = Voice Actor
@@SalKhayer okay thank you!
Toph relies a lot on mental visualization when elements are in the air. She can feel the person move as they bend which can inform what their attack is. She's insanely good at it, but it's not a guarantee, 95% of the time she makes the right move to counter.
There are some really insane mental calculations that she pulls off that you kinda have to wonder if earthbenders, or just Toph herself, can sense earth even when its in flight.
Guys! The new AOT final trailer is out!😭😭😭
Don't sleep on my boy Sokka, he got that accidental game 😂
imagine saying you would never have a crush on Sokka, the OG backbender. Even Zuko wants that man ✋
People often don't understand Zuko's mom. She was as cutthroat as any of them, but in her case it was to protect her kids. It all has to do with the turtle-duck scene.
let's not forget that the gaang were all exhausted during the fight
The Zuko alone episode definitely the best episode of the series in my opinion and shows how his character is and definitely contributes to his development throughout the series 👍
Love that the Katara - Toph Argument is also represented in the group :D
Same, that was so fuckin funny. Especially when Mushroom Hair'd Girl bursts into laughter and then joins the debate
@@CezreDoodlemushroom 😂
“The stars sure are beautiful tonight , too bad you can’t see them toph” this series has some dark humor 😂
New Attack on Titan trailer is out today guys! It's not a short teaser either
16:17 when I was a kid watching this scene I thought she said it bc Toph had covered herself up with her rock tent, boy o boy was I innocent back then
no you were right that IS why she said it, katara has never made any off hand remarks about stuff like disability for example zuko's scar or sokka being non bender(it's kind of like a disadvantage in avatar world)
so it's logical that she forgot toph was blind which is a continuous issue in the show (like sokka earlier forgot toph was blind and threw the belt directly at her which hit her) and was talking about the tent and not her blindness
Two awesome episodes! Thankfully Azula only hit Iroh with blue fire and not lightning.
Zuko's face plant in this episode had me in stitches laughing. Aang and Azula easily avoided it but Zuko did a face plant.😂
LMAO "she's insane" perfectly captures Azula's character 😂
Edit: if there's anything Sokka bends, it's backs 😂 he can have a gf from every nation if he wants 😂
Tbh im completely on Toph's side no extra work is added by her joining the team and she does a job at camp shes security an advance warning system to threats.
Appa is carrying her travel weight. She should just travel separately. Would you want to be around someone 24/7 who doesn’t do any activities with you but also complains about them?
@@xfireflarex Appa carrying her travel weight is irrelevant, especially when Toph is the reason they were able to get away. Like @scottdean185 said, Toph joining added no extra work to the team.
@@dastard6488 You think Toph finds and gets all her own food?
I think it's a mistake to view Toph's labor as transactional. It doesn't matter if she adds no extra work; Katara's words are about setting up camp, but her meaning is about encouraging Toph to integrate with the group. Helping people when you don't have to and allowing them to help you in return is a vital part of learning to work as a single unit. That's why after she speaks with Iroh and changes her mind a little we finish with everyone so in synch. We even see her reflect the lesson back to Iroh with "you should tell him that you need him, too".
Dude I finally noticed that Katara made an unintentional blind joke lol. She was thinking Toph couldn't see the stars because of her earth tent but in reality...
Not saying she shouldn't help because the situation may is different and context is important, but if everyone has does their own dishes then the dishes are done. Being accountable for your own actions and responsibilities is important, but helping each other out is also important. Toph's situation is supposed to be over dramatized for the show, as seen with the session with Dr. Iroh, but it definitely works both ways.
I don't think it's over dramatized, she's pretty consistently bratty and arrogant throughout the show. Also she didn't do her share because Appa is part of the team and she didn't do anything to help situate him (feed him, check if he needs anything) or momo either. Why should that be other's responsibility with her logic.
@melis3ft I think her point is moreso they did everything like that before she joined, so if she joins and simply takes care of the responsibilities she's adding, it isn't harming them or her. Not arguing she's right or wrong, just attempting to break down her view.
I like that everyone sees Katara's side. One either sees both Katara and Toph's sides or just the former.
I still don't see her side and never will. Why do you need help? What are you? A codependent child? She never asked anyone for help so why should she help? I don't know why people like Katara. She's a control freak. Its expanded on more in the runaway episode.
Zuko Alone is one of if not the best single episode in this entire show.
Lol, their names are Sela and Gan Su, so they named their kid Sen Su, their names together. And then they were out of ideas so... Lee works 😂
Okay so when Iroh looked at Toph, he was identifying the one who is at risk from a sudden lightning strike. Fire nation probably teaches the idea to strike the weakest link first, so both masters Azula and Iroh would know this. But Iroh was smarter than Azula.
By looking away for a few seconds, he made himself most vulnerable in Azula's perspective. He has put his life on the line for the kids.
No, i don’t know how so many people are confused by this. He looked at Toph because he recognized her from their talk earlier, then looked over to the rest of them thinking “oh shes with the avatar??” Thats all it was
Hitting Iroh is the smartest decision right there. Eliminating the strongest of them all is the way to escape that situation.
Although a cool theory, she probably just shoot Iroh because first he was distracted (he looked over at Toph when he realized the stranger from before was with the avatar) and second she knew that Iroh was the only one who could beat her 1 on 1, so it was smartest to get rid of him first.
He was suprised to see toph because he didn't know she was part of the gaang, yall twist anything to hype iroh🤣🤣
*my response contains seasons 2 and 3 spoilers* I always thought he was looking at Toph because, from their talk before, he had made her out to be a very observant person, and thought she might be able to tell that Azula was lying and tricking them by saying "I'm done. I know when I'm beaten." Not that he knew she could tell lies by feeling the person's heartbeat change, but just that he could tell she was a very observant and smart person. And Toph didn't react, so he must've thought "Hmm Azula must not be lying, weird." So therefore by looking at Toph and seeing her non reaction, he was distracted and letting his guard down, so Azula attacked him. And then of course, this might make us think "Wait, Toph *can* tell when someone's lying, why didn't she notice that Azula was lying in this scene???" Well, we know from the Black Sun episode in season 3 that Toph told Azula "Stick to the truth. I'll be able to tell when youre lying" but Azula replies "Are you sure? I'm a pretty good liar. I am a 400 hundred foot tall purple platypus bear with pink horns and silver wings." She tells an obvious lie that anyone would be able to tell is a lie, but then Toph responds "Ok youre good I admit it." Even though it was an obvious lie, apparently she was still *super good* and keeping her breathing and heartbeat regular, so Toph couldn't detect she was lying. That's my hypothesis as to why Iroh looked at Toph during this fight scene and why Toph wasn't able to detect that Azula was lying.
Studio Gek never fails to clap my cheeks
What 😳
Ayo?🤨
I see enough of this on Joe's channel, let's not lol
😂
Huhhh?
Here comes the blind jokes 😂
It's terrible to know that Azula was looking for the weakest (in her opinion) to strike. She looked at blind Toff, but decided to hit Uncle Iroh
I thought it was more like Azula saw Iroh looking at toph being there. She saw her chance and attacked Iroh when he wasnt looking
Iroh got distracted. She's sharp that way and good with sneak attacks.
Why wouldn't she? She's literally surrounded by her enemies. Anyone with any amount of experience would look for the weakest links to successfully get out of a bad situation.
I don't think Azula saw Iroh as the weakest link. Yes, she saw him unfit to rule, that doesn't mean she underestimates his bending skills. Iroh has a reputation and she surely recognizes that. I agree with the above comment that she simply took advantage of Iroh looking away for a split second
Pretty sure she knows Iroh is the strongest the only reason she targeted him is because Iroh was distracted looking at Toph and maybe because she wanted to take out the strongest link
You guys should check out the comics because it explains a bit more regarding Zuko’s parents and dynamics.
you guys NEED to watch “ i want to eat your pancreas” PLEASE
AOT The final trailer dropped last night guys 🔥🔥🔥
YES I JUST SAW IT
That raw scream reaction when iroh got blasted
Also the reason why he looked at toph because he didn't know that toph was talking about her friends being the avatar fam so he actually did get caught distracted.
Just if no one’s answered it, iroh’s looking at toph because he’s realising that the little girl he met and had tea with is with the avatar, he was just distracted while he put the dots together, and azula struck in that moment
Azula was bad influenced by her father, all that he feed to her is that corrupted perspective of the philosophy the fire nation was having at this point.
that and the fact that she watched her father getting away with been merciless, mean and cruel inspired her to become a little copy of him.
Zuko alone- one of the best episodes so far 😊
3:42 the wall gave me AOT flashbacks, started hearing shinzou wo sasageyo🥲✊🏼
Omg so mean making her wait for the next episode 😂
I think every episode from episode 6 to episode 9 of season 2 is probably some of the best back-to-back episodes the show has to offer. It introduces Toph, it shows Zuko alone which I never really appreciated as a kid but I adore the episode now, it shows the chase which gives me Western vibes and I remember hearing this quote about the episode a long time ago is that there is a sense of clarity in the chaos and it's the first time You see Zuko set aside his differences even if it's in the middle of a fight for who he sees at that point in time as the greater enemy. Episode 9 is going to be great as well. I think you will enjoy it.

Why are they haters? They look like they're really enjoying Avatar.
Moreso now to keep the title consistent, but the goal of this series is to convert them, so just gonna keep the title consistent till the end when we wrap up the series
@@StudioGek mckay was definitely a hater in the early episodes
Iroh just realized that Toph is part of the team Avatar when everybody outmatched to Azula
I always forget how Tai Li in season 2 is hilariously OP
Many may know this already, but a fun tidbit is when the “enemies and traitors” attack Azula all at once at 23:20-23:21, you can see Sokka’s boomerang in the upper left corner in a few frames, showing that he still fights even with the other benders.
Sokka: he can’t bend water but he can bend your girl over
When is the next one coming out 🥺 love your videos :)
Either tomorrow or Wednesday!!! We will be back to our regular schedule!
I don’t get why the guys said that Toph had a point about not helping set up camp. She can set up the fastest for herself so that means that if she also continues to help the group set up they’d be finished much faster than usual. If you’re part of a team then you need a team mindset, not a solo player mindset.
Perhaps learn to be self-sufficient?
my 10 year old self every time Zuko came on screen: 9:02
I think Azula went for iroh because she immediately realized he was being distracted by something
Yep. Iroh was distracted because he was just then realizing that Toph is with the avatar.

Spoilers for Ursa’s story, but the Firelord did indeed order Ozai to kill his firstborn son, Zuko. While Ozai was indifferent and willing to kill his least useful child, Ursa couldn’t let that happen, so she made a deal with her husband. She crafted a poison to give to the Firelord, so that Ozai could get the throne like he wanted, as long as Zuko was spared. She had to be banished/go into exile after essentially killing the sitting monarch. That’s why the Firelord, being a picture of health, died suddenly, allowing Ozai to usurp the throne.

@@pee-buddy clearly? More like possibly.
@@hazok4351 Iroh sieged Ba Sing Se for 2 years. 2 long and gruesome years. In your mind that is not clear enough?
I mean, Ba Sing Se is called the impenetrable city. Standing your ground as being impenetrable for a couple years (how does a siege even works against earthbenders, who can go underground, and in such large a city they can grow their own food inside... Anyway, I digress) is not exactly what I would call not giving up without a fight. I mean, of course they wouldn't surrender when an army surrounds their impenetrable walls, that's not putting up a fight, that's just basic expected behavior from a strategic point. The fact that he surrendered as soon as they had broken the outer wall is more like he didn't put up a fight at all, imo. And I believe that's there the little jokey in the line is supposed to imply... Never give up without a fight... Said the one who surrendered as soon as we broke what was separating him from us. But I guess it depends on one's point of view of what giving up without a fight means, so it could pretty much be interpreted both ways... That's why I said "possibly".

"I will definitely watch the first One Pace episode to see how it goes. Thanks for the suggestion, I really do want them (Gek boys) to watch One Piece!"
surprised yall made it this far but glad you did
I'm with the ladies on this; Toph is absolutely in the wrong with her stance on helping with chores. When you're part of a team, you contribute until the work is done. You don't do "your share" and then kick back while others keep working.
And that's not a criticism of Toph's character. She grew up as a rich, shut-in kid with crappy parenting. Teamwork is a new thing for her. And there's also her direct, hard-headed personality that's likely to have initial clashes with any new friend group, and the fact that being just 12 years old, the parts of her brain that handle social interaction and understanding other points of view are still developing. Her behavior here makes complete sense.
Toph isn’t in the wrong. She gets her own food, and sets up her own camp, doesn’t need a fire. Aang owes toph since she left home for him.
She’s independent, it would be different if she ate their food and water.
It's always interesting when people see this episode and hear Iroh, and Zuko's mom, laughing about burning down Ba Sing Se and then attribute nobility and kindness to them. They're on the imperial side. They may soften in other ways but the war is theirs and they support it. Had Iroh become Firelord, there's just a good chance he doesn't end up on the path he was on and just continues their plunder. The show also does a bit of retconning with regards to him, I think.
Not just if he became Firelord but if Lu Ten never died.
Yeah, Iroh listened to his own and Toph's advice, and let himself "need" Zuko, as Zuko doesn't want to admit like he needs him, just like Toph. Great writing.
he looked at toph because he didnt know she was part of team avatar
The dude on the far right is right. Iroh got distracted seeing Toph helping and is with the team avatar all along, Azula notice this and attack him.
Dude on the far right is HIM
What really happened to his mom? I know in this episode that we are led to believe she died, but towards the comet his father stated she was just banished and still alive?
Great episode!
Where's aot trailer reaction
I understand that the reason Toph probably acted this way is because she was raised so carefully. Everyone only focused on her needs, babying her when she was at home. She kinda is cocky so she doesn’t understand why she would have to help them when she got her own shit done 😂😂😂 she wrong for that but it‘s reasonable.

The Fire Nation don't want Zuko and the people of the Earth Kingdom don't want Zuko. This episode was truly "Zuko Alone" lol. But yeah, despite the good deed Zuko did for these townspeople, they still couldn't help but feel prejudice and hatred towards him just because he's Fire Nation. Sad but realistic.
"Both?! I'M COMPLETELY CALM!!" I don't know why, but this part always cracks me up no matter how many times I've rewatched the show 😂
Aang coming to Appa's defense really warmed my heart even though it was sort of bad he was yelling at Toph like that. Shows how much Appa means to him that he'd insert himself into the argument even though he's been trying to stay out of it for the most part.
The Toph/Iroh scene was also fantastic! More Iroh wisdom and it showed that two people on opposing sides can be friends.
And gotta hand it to Azula for taking advantage of Iroh when he let his guard down. I'm sure normally that would never happen on Iroh's end, but I suppose it just goes to show how Azula was really paying attention to every little thing despite being cornered.

Banger episodes!!
how can almost everyone say that Azula is insane ,it is so obvious that her daddy taught her to be like this and she is speaking what her dad is speaking . Her mom is focusing on zuzu and there you have Azula spending most of her day with her dad . Can people stop blaming her for becoming like this ,as if she had a choice !
bro, she's a first time viewer. it's normal to think that. chill out.
I'm thrilled to see y'all back... These are some fire episodes... It only gets better y'all... And please, don't look up any spoilers... It will ruin your genuine experience... Keep it unknown... Keep it a mystery... Please Maddie 🙏😭... And all of you...
I have always believed that Azulon did order Zuko to die because of Ozai’s suggestion so the mom was forced to kill Azulon to save Zuko
it was more of a mutual benefit to Ursa and Ozai
Ozai wanted the thrown so he decided to kill Azulon, and used Ursa to do it
Ursa obviously didn't want Zuko to die so she did it
but really the whole problem arose from Ozai's hunger for the throne, he was crazy to suggest revoking Iroh's birth right, and he got punished for it
@@skull1161 sometimes I question the events. I mean if we dont know what Azulon really said. Azula lies.
What if Azulon demanded Azula to die and father and daughter arrange Ursa overhear this exchange. Ursa would have saved her regardless
the eyes my boy carter handed out at 12:30 🤣🤣
Elizabeth had her pen on fire writing this episode
So I always interpreted Iroh looking at Toph and the others before getting struck by Azula as him thinking that Azula was going to hit either Toph or Aang. Toph because of her blindness, or Aang because he is the primary target. He probably assumed Azula wouldn’t strike him just because of how powerful he is.
Sokka’s hidden bending technique: Rizz
IMO Azula at this point was stronger than Ozai
