In all tutorials for the channel, I will choose one part per section and do that. Usually it'll be the more upfront one or the more active one. In the case of the chorus, the rhythm felt more upfront than the lead and more important to the section to my ears so I went with it.
No. Some licks were alternate picked yes, but the majority of of the fast licks use economy picking or just sweep picking. Economy picking is the most used I would say. In many instances here, you'll sweep up to a particular string, then alternate pick on that individual string, then sweep to another string. That is economy picking. It's a fusion between sweep picking and alternate picking.
@@JustinHollandFitness I'd love to but conditions don't allow it. The internet speed at the moment in Lebanon makes online lessons impractical. If I'm able to get back into it, I'll make an announcement video. For the meantime, if you need any guitar guidance, hit me up in the comments in any video.
No. They already have their TABs for sale: polyphiatabs.com/products/the-most-hated-ep-tablature and they are very notorious for taking down all sorts of TAB posted online that isn't provided by them anyway.
Sorry for the late reply! Regarding the guitar tone, I should first mention that I use software for my tone and not a physical amp. The software provides me with "virtual" amp and pedals that I use for tones. There are two different tones used in this video: Rhythm and Lead. Now the rhythm's a bit complicated as it uses two virtual amps in stereo (one in the left speaker and one in the right), so amp settings may not be useful. I reckon you can get something close to the rhythm with a physical amp if you opt for a "scooped mids" tone. This means you'll want to the mids on your amp settings low, but the bass and treble higher. You can experiment with the exact levels. The gain is also up to your preference. I also generally use the bridge pick-up on my guitar for a crunchier sound. For the lead, The effects on the tone are chorus, delay, reverb, and distortion. The amp settings are: Gain about 11 O'clock ; Bass about 1 O'clock Treble about 11 O'clock ; Mid is at 12 O'clock. Obviously, with analog gear, you'll need to either use a multi-effect processor or have separate pedals available.

During the fast parts in the solo were you just alternate picking?
