Tip: Aswell as nail clippers it could be handy having a nail file in the box as it doesn’t ‘hurt’.Well for me at least. Keep the positive energy up xx Love you 😘
I was surprised at how interesting this video is! Some of the items are so different from what we use in the US. I had to look up threadworms. But also, you gave me some great ideas for our medicine box! Thank you!
From the age of 4 I had a bag with my inhalers in and as I got older it became my responsibility! It’s a habit that my mum made me get into doing and now I am much older I am so thankful she has. I would 100% recommend getting your children into that habit. It’s something I had completely forgotten that she taught me, this was such an amazing video and I aspire to be a responsible mother like you when I have children of my own💗
I loved this!!! My son had his first anaphylactic reaction when he was 9 months old!!! He carries 2 epipens and his inhalers and allergy tablets too!! I love watching your content!!! I get so many great ideas from you !! Thank you!!!
Hi Emily, I just came across your channel because I was looking up homeschooling for my granddaughter when she visits me and I really enjoy ur channel! Very bright, and cheery, loving and warm.
This is the video I never realised I needed ahaha, it’s definitely given me some ideas already and I haven’t even finished it yet! I have a little mummy RUclips channel and I find all of your videos so inspirational! Xx
I really suggest adding triple antibiotic to your box it is an ointment that heals scrapes cuts and burns really fast and well. It's a life saver!100%recommend BTW I love your channel
Great video ...just a reminder to those watching that medicine/ wipes have an expiration date...I did mine last year and couldn’t believe how old some of my wipes/ creams were...so even if you have a box..can’t hurt to refresh it! 💝🙋🏻♀️🇬🇧💕
Great video! I have the same, but also the heat patches, hot water bottle, tiger balm for massages, vicks balm to massage on back and feet sole overnight, mosquitoes repellent, travel sickness pills, constipation relief syrup, aloe Vera gel for sunburn, and cicaplast cream balm for any skin irritation (less drying than sudocream), blisters plasters, bariderm cream from uriage if going for long walk to prevent blisters also very good for ladies to avoid red skin on the inside of the thighs (rubbing area).
We have a little burn kit that I keep in the kitchen and then take away with us if we are going away! Emergency burn gel and then steril absorbent adhesive dressing. We have used a few times and I don’t go on holiday without it!
Iv watched previous vidioes where I see the medicine box thanks for sharing what's in this.. and the bag idea is great my son is only one this month but when hes older can use this as he has allergies aswell and need epi pen just in case needed... atm trying to make a wheat and egg free cake so yes thank you for this!!
I always carry one around when we are away from home for the night. One time we went away with friends and they said that I wouldn’t need my first aid kit as it’s not like we are climbing cliffs. I like to be prepared and glad I stuck to my guns as when we were away my eldest who was 7 months old at the time grabbed a hot Pyrex as my friend took it out the oven. The first aid kit came in handy but we also went to hospital to make sure.
@@mrsemilynorris also albas oils my daughter gets a thickly cough and it can help alongside a blue inhaler prescribed by doctor Friend told me bout her children just getting coughs like that and dictor prescribed it for her Love idea of tablets for calpol must c if that do them in nurofen

This video is really helpful- I have a little one who's 18months old and finally I've decided to put one together as husband is useless in finding things lol
Interesting video, what I would say is all of your medicine is branded, you will always find a supermarket own brand that is a quarter of the price and has the exact same ingredients in x
Hello Emily, thank you for the vlog it is definitely useful. However, we have been advised by our doctors during COVID 19 not to use nurofen (Ibubrofen) and to use calpol or the chemical name "paracetamol". Best wishes and stay safe.
@Emily Norris A quick update, NHS stated that ibuprofen does not affect people sick with the corona virus. However, they stated that the side effects of paracetamol is less than ibuprofen.
Hello Emily from Toronto!! I am also thinking of getting a a sling bag for my 8 yrs old. The one that you got for your son is nice. My son also has allergies so 2 epis all the time. This bag should make him a habit of carrying his own kit. Thanks for the suggestion. Great video as always. May I ask you which of your son has peanut allergy?
this is weird. I just started organising random places in my house. the medicine cabinet was the first and now we've two extra shelves!! if she does a make up clear out too I'll be shook cos I just did that too! xo
Awww. Tx for replying Emily. My first motherhood started from ur packing hospital bag where my journey started with RUclips watching Ur fabulous Vedios. Keep goin. We r here to support such a wonderful lady ❣️.
Hi Emily, although I am a Grandma mine is almost identical. I keep witch hazel in the fridge for bruises and bumps too. Please can you let me know where you pretty spotty top is from? Thank you for all your fabby vlogs x
Something that came in my prepaid first aid bag was a section to treat burns. We have had to use the cream when my daughter touched a burner on to stove 😭.
This is a weird question but as someone not from England, what’s the difference between a Plaster and a Bandage? We call everything Bandaids where I live, so I was just curious
An egg allergy is the one allergy that children are most likely to outgrow by school age. My twins had an egg allergy and literally a few weeks before starting Reception they outgrew the allergy! So they were 4 and a half and had the allergy since 6 months old when we started weaning and introduced eggs into their diet.
Check for out of date things now & again ;) Gauze rhymes with paws 😊 Worcestershire = wuss (as in ‘Mummy, he said I was a wuss’’)-tu (as in tum)-shu (as in shut). Wuss-tu-shu Sauce (ignore the look of the written word!) 💚😊💚
Oh my!! You didnt have any tweezers; I have four kids (2boys & 2girls) and they almost always get splinters and the tweezers are great to carry around...😉

We call that antibiotic spray “magic spray” and for years they truly believed it took away the pain 😉
Do they still believe it if they do they don’t anymore

Joey will Well, they’re 8 and 11 now, so... not so much 🙂
Our LO got her first cut the other day and we realised we had no small plasters, only bandages the size of their arm🤦♀️ this is so helpful x
Thanks so much Emily. We also have Neurofen, Calpol and Benilyn in South Africa. Stay safe. Love...
It's very important to have medical kits for first aid and definitely important to check the expiry dates every so often.
Eye wash and aloe Vera gel are also great additions. I used to use the Savlon dry antiseptic spray too but cannot find it anywhere now x
