I completely forgot to add an Amanda Waller segment in this video. On the surface, she would be team registration. Luthor would of course know her to be an ambitious woman who is also, not found of superhero's or metahumans in gerneral. This won't exactly be a win for Luthor as he doesn't completely trust her or her motivations. Keeping tabs on her movements would be a top priority. I also have an idea that she would be secretly feeding info to Batman and the rebels. However, Batman knows better than to believe that this is out of good faith or even the possiblity that she is masking the information. Instead of the full truth she only offers 70% but treats it like 100%. She has her own plans of course. Both sides need to be cautious.
I was thinking of Cadmus being part of this as in Justice league Unlimited they hated the heroes with a passion and I thought of others taking advantage of this Civil War like Penguin wanting to exploit it as he could continue on his crime operations and I could imagine him being Vice President or Governor of Gotham as he was being Mayor is some medias and also Ares as he is the God of War after all.
I wonder what My Hero Academia characters would think about such a civil war. Of course most if not all of the Pro Heroes and students are going to side with the Pro-Registration side. They’ve lived with such a system and it’s worked for the most part. Naturally the Villains will be on the Anti-Registration side which probably would disturb the superheroes on that side. However a number of Heroes would no doubt feel sympathetic to the Anti-Registration side. Deku and Shoto have more than enough experience bending or even breaking the rules on using powers to save their friends with the latter being angered when it seemed like they were going to get punished for stopping Stain while the former eventually left his class behind to fight a one-man war against the Villains. Bakugo may also feel restricted by rules given his temper. Still when push comes to shove, these guys believe more in reforming the system for the better instead of just tearing the whole thing down and starting over. Meanwhile the Villains would hate Pro-Registration because it would feel too much like the current Hero System in MHA. But most besides Stain would be annoyed by how even the rebelling superheroes still act like heroes instead of supervillains.
I feel like a villain that would join the government would be Mister Freeze, having taken a deal with Lex to sign the registration act in exchange for saving Nora
I think a good reasoning for Superman to join the Registration act is because Superman has seen the amounts of civilian casualties and collateral damage due to superheroes fighting supervillains. He has participated a bit in it himself without wanting to. Superman feels responsible for the people who died because he wasn’t able to save them. Similar to Man Of Steel Superman had a fight with a supervillain that levelled the city. Jimmy Olsen was caught in the crossfire and Superman grieves his best friend’s death. Lex Luthor proposes this superhero registration act and personally asks Clark to join. Lex wants to better the world and knows that fighting Superman isn’t the way to do it after years of it. He still doesn’t like Superman but he knows that cooperating with him will be easier than going against him.
Wonder Woman I feel would feel even more strongly about anti-registration than even Batman or Green Arrow. She's an Amazonian from Themyscira and would therefore feel that laws created in man's world should not dictate how she goes about her heroics.
Well... she's also all about that diplomacy. I think she'd be the best for peaceful negotiations between the two sides being that she comes from a society that has certain beliefs and she knows what alienation can ultimately lead to. So, it makes more sense that Oliver and Bats would have more invested being that they grew up in Earth society. Diana is an immigrant she grew up with her sisters on the island. She cares but her care is more objective due to her being able to look at these events from an outsider perspective somewhat.
Technically she has diplomatic immunity anyway. Same with Aquaman. The only thing they could do is deport her. That’s how Dr doom gets away with his actions. They can’t legally touch him.
@@glowhoo9226 and Aquaman actually is the boss or co-boss of Atlantis (depending on the day Aquaman and Mera just rotate the final decision on politics meanwhile depending on the timeline Aquaboy just wonders why they don't just go stop sea pirates or something while Tempest, Tula, Lagoon Boy and Dolphin are babysitting.)
Great change on lex not capturing Superman’s family and being more of a “good” guy. Makes the story much more compelling and believable (in the old story I couldn’t buy that Batman wouldn’t almost immediately figure out lex’s plan)
I like the idea that near the end, when compromise is in sight, lex luthor does the kidnapping plan to force Superman to keep going down a path he doesn't agree with anymore.
I feel like young Heroes like Tim Drake, Impulse and Static would sort of Lead a somewhat of a resisstence where only young people are allowed to join and they would basically do they're own thing.
I feel the same way the kid heroes and anyone younger would be like "yeah no we are not getting in between you too." Actually, all the Titans, imo would go off somewhere together and do their own thing.
I feel like this should be the case all the way upto Dick grayson’s generation. Its really only between Batman & Supermans generation and maybe the older dudes like Jay Garrick etc
I definetly agree that the change makes a lot of difference. The initial idea was too clear cut in whos right and whos wrong, which I feel is what went south in the second Marvel Civil War.
Waller and Deathstroke are just there. I don't think any discussion would need to be done, Waller, Deathstroke, Suicide Squad, and maybe Sinestro are the black ops of the Registration faction. Thinking about it further, I think virtually any villain they do recruit would probably just be given the Suicide Squad treatment and enrolled into an expanded version of the group. Almost like a Janissary corps of supervillains.
I think as much as Nightwing loves Superman, for all of Batman's faults, he is a Batman loyalist. I can see Batman sending Nightwing in as a spy in Superman's registration team and using Dick's hero worship as a great cover. This could be an #7-#8 plot twist or something?
A good improvement I think. In this universe I’d have it that Lex & Superman were once child hood friends to sell them getting along better here & working together. Martian Manhunter would eventually be the Flash’s main man seeking a middle ground I’d guess. It’d be interesting if Superboy or Supergirl don’t side with SM because they could never forgive Lex for his past actions though. They think Clark is being naive trusting him.
Just throwing in an idea what if you had Static Shock (He could be consider a top tier teen superhero in your verse) join Superman's side and have him pull a spiderman and reveal his identity because you can make it that in the Darkseid invasion his family got hurt/almost died, at the end of the day he wants to keeps his family safe. And maybe Black Lighting could give him so advice or convince him to join Superman's side Also I think it be a fun making Flash being the middle man like Trinity constantly convincing Flash to join their side (Because while DC Fandom and Flash himself don't know it, he's pretty much the 4th statue in that mount rushmoore of DC hereos) and Flash is just torn because these 3 are his good friends then maybe join Superman in Vol 3. Just an idea
Are we using Wally or Barry or both here? I feel like that's the deciding factor in this. Superman should be for. Batman against. Wonder Woman- both sides have merit. Barry has been shown to fall in line with Bruce ultimately. Wally has also been hinted to ultimately make similar decisions to Diana going with whatever she feels best at the end of the day...which her thinking ultimately does fall in line with Clark's...and Wally's admitted such as well...and why not both Wally West and Wonder Woman are Double W's.
I personally can't see Nightwing being on the registration. Not to say he couldn’t be written that way for YOUR stories sake. Also, YOUR story has a great foundation! Keep it going bro!
i cant imagine cyborg willingly going against superman and becoming a fugitive, either. and something tells me that he wouldn't exactly function well as a normal human being unfortunately in our society
Team Batman: 2:51 Batman (leader) Wonder woman (second in-command) Barbara Gordon (Batgirl or oracle) Jason Todd ( Red Hood) Zatanna Hawkgirl Raven Beast boy The question Mr. Terrific Martian Manhunter Green arrow Jon Stewart ( Green Lantern) Firestorm Power girl Huntress Batwoman Static shock John Constantine Plastic man Team Superman: 11:15 Superman ( Leader) Lex Luthor ( second in-command) Cyborg Captain atom Shazam Nightwing Starfire Black Canary Hal Jordan ( Green Lantern) Hawkman Flash Blue Beetle (Jamie Reyes) Supergirl Atom ( Ryan Choi) Black lightning Steel Aquaman Damien Wayne ( Robin) Big barda Mister miracle Red tornado
I'm loving this series/story! I'm not the most familiar with most of these characters, but this just seems like such a cool story, and I can't wait for more!
Let me start by saying I love this idea and premise that you are giving for a possible DC Civil War concept. The second is I could probably see this being split off into two other videos for both teams sides when it comes to the villains aspect of this because in the original marvel Civil War Tony had to utilize the thunderbolts in order to bolster his ranks and even some of the villains coming to captain America’s side so I could definitely see this happening for the same reason between both Batman and Superman depending on how desperate Batman really is to work with villains that he would normally capture.
Honestly i liked your first idea better I mean about how superman joined lex Luthor but I still liked this one and how you teamed them up and said how they would join but the way Superman joins lex I think I like the first one better great video tho I would love to see more content 👍
Hal would be on the rebels and John would be for the government. John doesn't wear a mask, he's a soldier and he may have some concerns but would trust Superman. Hal has always been anti-authority. It would be interesting where Static goes. Both Lantern Stewart and Black Lightning would potentially be his mentors. I agree Nightwing goes with Superman, but takes Starfire with him and maybe even Damian. Duck is very close to Superman and is probably like an uncle to him. Agree with the Hawks. Wonder Woman would join join Superman and so would both Barry and Wally. The Pro Team would have a huge advantage power wise, but Martian Manhunter joins Batman. He can read minds and sees what Luthor and possibly Amanda Waller are up to. Agree Aquaman and Swamp Thing are staying out of this until they are forced to and when that happens they're with Batman. Could be interesting to play into the love triangle of Barbara x Dick x Kori for this war and how Dick and Kori get closer since they're on the same side and Barbara is heartbroken. Where does Kyle Rayner go? Probably with Batman, but Guy goes with Superman so the Lanterns are evenly devided except for the newest member who would have to join Batman. Not sure why Powergirl joins Batman in your argument. It seems all Team Superman is together.
Another banger! The fact that the only cosistent element that i, plus other viewers, disagree with you is your distaste for Lois Lane, shows how good your content is and how creative and knowledgeable you are when it comes to DC as a whole. Major props!
my teams would be: team blue (rebel): batman flash shazam (from a heel turn) basically all the bat family (barb and dick might join team red later on). aquaman constantine green lanterns team red (registration): superman wonder woman red tornado martian manhunter super family (maybe kon will join team blue just for balance sake). yellow lanterns i'll add more if i think of any.
Love it, and the change. Because the family thing i agree wouldn't make sense for superman either. Also i feel having flash as the Spider-Man character is perfect. I also feel Batman would be like Nick Fury in the Marvel Alliance game trying to figure out the purpose of all this
I kinda like the idea of Batman being pro registration myself. Because think about it, Batman follows the rules to a T in not killing Joker or other chacthwrs who deserve it and no one would bat an eye at. Compared to Superman, who, while yes, doesn't want kill, will if it saves the greater world at hand. Like Doomsday or Darksied. It also goes hand and hand eith Clarks farm boy but ultimately doing what he believes is right which means breaking the rules if it most be broken but Batman would always follow the rules unless it invilves killing someone. But thats just my thoughts. I'd kinda like to see Superman as an underground resistance type of team rather than Batman it would be a nice change of pace. But that's just me. Id be interested in seeing that type of senerio. Nice video, tho.
Batman has never followed the rules. He breaks laws all the time as a vigilante which is why initially the GCPD wanted to arrest him. He's breaking and entering, stealing evidence, going over the speed limit, hacking private and government databases etc.
I honestly would like to see Hal initially be apart of the registration but have cost city be a victim of the darkside war and use him as the focus on why the registration would happen
I really like the idea of Nightwing being with Supes. Being on the outs with Batman is a fairly normal part of Nightwing’s story, as is having a particular connection with Superman, and he could fulfill a role similar to Spider-Man in Marvel’s CW. Idolizes the face of pro-registration, maybe expresses some doubt to Superman throughout it but tries to keep his best face on. Maybe a side swap late in the game as a prodigal son returning. Lotta good potential in there! I love Flash filling the SM role, but hey we can double dip in our imaginary story, right?
Nightwing being on Superman's side took me by surprise, but your idea of him being on bad terms with Bruce and being close with Superman does add some nuance, and makes his choice an opening for interesting drama, especially within the Batfamily.
Teams, Characters and their Significance Team Registration 1) Superman - everything you said, he's the poster boy and always had decent affliations with the US government, Kansas raised, can't get more american than that 2) Luthor - Definetly not the evil version, more like the darkseid war version, he's still self serving but he sees the benefits and value of the JL. Also, rmb, he hates Superman for what he represnets, not necessarily who he is, so might grow to respect him overtime 3) Hal Jordan - Space cop, maybe Carol Danvers died, he becoems a little fearful of his own ability, thinks the registration is good 4) Shazam - Definetly a beta superman bascially, wants to be the next one 5) Nightwing - I can see something similar to the White Knight arc where his lingering opposition to Batman's tactics becomes exacerbated. Like the GTO, he becomes maybe the task force leader for the specially equipped shoulders that can take down heroes 6) Captain Atom - Literally an ex soldier, bro is on the beck and call of Eiling lol 7) Hawkman - Always thought of him as a brute who tries to make it seem like he's got a good IQ above 100, good for registration cause he was a Lt on thanagar 8) Manhunter - Maybe joins out of fear in a way, he's always been a pacifist at heart even though he's crazy overpowered, Close to superman for sure but didn't have the american upbrining basically 9) Flash - I agree, he's the swing 10) Supergirl - Trusts his cousin and basically would protect him no matter what Team Anti Registration 1) Wonder Woman - Joins late and becomes the new leader, I really liked that nuance about her. Maybe the story has a two part sequence where her leadership gives hope that the fighting might end or there can be a compromise. Was always one of the two leaders but becomes THE leader 2) Batman - Definetly one of the first Anti-Registration members, and basically at this point, everything superman does, he doesn't do lol. Him being stubborn and abandoning once he is voted out of favour would be a classic, but him relinquishing sole command to WW, maybe after a huge death, and at the end, maybe he stops being Batman by retiring, would be interesting 3) Green Arrow - No explanation, GA is anti-reg is any world, chat gpt literally thinks so as well 4) Zatanna - Not as indifferent as Dr fate but definetly more there for the people at the end of the day, not to say she doesn't hold conviction for the cause. She's almost like an in house consoler or might become the mediator of the fighting in some way 5) Red Hood - Last thing he wants is to be told that something/someone out of his control or familiarity can judge what he can and cannot do, especially if it becomes dictatorial 6) John Constantine - Bit of wildcard, he defintely won't join the other side, but he might bail throughout the story 7) Blue Bettle - He's the swing for this team, joins the registration act because it gives him some internal sense of control, never alleviated the fear of an aline scarab stuck to his back that can disobey, betray and control him anytime 8) John Stewart - Definetly anti-registration. Don't need to paint you in picutre of the colours, but minority group --> registration --> government --> authoritarian rule making, yeah that's not a good train of thought for him 9) Huntress - basically like her injustice version, not a super signifcant characeter but might be impactful 10) Superboy - a wild card for me, definitely super conflicted between superman and cadmus cloning life PTSD.
I think hal and john should be switched since hal is much more gun ho and head strong compared to john and is more up to disobey orders from the guardians then john. John also seemed more corps focused then hal. Hal would also be joining when batman is no longer leading which helps since they never got along. John being registered and hal being rebeal makes more sense in my opinion
Not sure if you’ve made a video about this but thunderbolts!!! I know we have the SS but they serve a different purposes than thunderbolts. Must have some of the villains cosplaying as some hero’s like the dark avengers first thought is reverse flash dressing up as flash lol or even lex convincing bizarro to act like superman to get the public to trust the new team. Love the video top tier as usual 👏🏻
5:46 (spoiler alert for like a newish DC comic) I find that kind of funny because in this new comic Amanda Waller takes away superheroes powers with amazo bots and Green arrow is actually helping her take down the heroes and is working with the government cuz in his eyes superhero stopped looking out for the little guy so he wants to stop them or something like that so I think he would side with the government if it was in his best interest as a hero
Hey man love this channel and been digging this video series. Lmk if you need an artist or animator for stuff in the future such as thumbnails or what if stories I’d love to illustrate some of these ideas
Also Unrelated but do you think that its Impulse's turn to take on the mantle of the Flash? he become the Flash but it was only for a short while. I feel like you can tell really interesting stories with Bart as the main Flash with Barry or Wally having seemingly retired/die and it could explore themes of Legacy and whether or not Bart wants to continue the Legacy of the Flash and if thats what he really wants. He could operate in Central City like Barry did (or any other city that isnt Keystone and Central) and he should be able to get his own villains besides Inertia who's basically his Reverse-Flash. oh and I would make Killer Frost one of his villains it kills me that in some adaptations she's portrayed as a Flash villain yet she barely was in the comics. he can also be the Flash in Highschool or College and sort of be like Spider-Man and have his own version of the Clone Saga with Speedsters. and I'd make him a Teen Titan again.
Only thing I’d change about this story. Lex Luthor has never been a villain, not openly at least. Becoming president and starting the registration is his big evil plan where he reveals himself by the end.
I think a DC Civil War doesn't necessarily have to be about a registration act, and I actually think something like Civil War 2 or Tower of Babel would be more appropriate for DC. The League are so independent that even with a force pushing them into registration they'd generally oppose it, and find another way. But presenting them a new way to fight crime that's morally ambiguous would be a much more interesting way to split these characters. What if Lex, while imprisoned, finds a way to build a machine that can detect violent thoughts and presents it to Batman. They essentially would be destroying people's privacy, and even if controlled, would be working with a guilty till proven innocent approach to crime. But Batman, knowing that if this would've existed would've stopped his parents murder, attempts to control it and Lex. Meanwhile Superman, who believes in the good within all people, can see how it will become a self-fulfilling prophecy, and how people will lose their freedom to choose to do what's right. Everyone can then have a reasonable stance, taking sides in a difficult conflict where there's no clear right answer. I imagine it would also be a much slower burn than the original Civil War, with Superman and the League trying to work with/persuade Batman at the start, before things lead to violence
Love most of this! You've really done a great job. I completely disagree on Green Arrow, though. He's a self-proclaimed "old lefty," meaning left-wing, liberal, etc. That's not a knock on his character, but even in the current absolute power event, he's siding with Waller. I definitely think he'd be pre-registration and pro government control.
In my version, it's the Superman's Death arc. Superman (similarly to BvS) is killed by Doomsay and Lex Luthor. The four supermen arrive, each vying to become President Luthor's second in command. The villains like Eradicator and Cyborg Superman are going for it for their own gain. Supergirl and Steel are trying to take it to keep the villains in check. This power imbalance leaves conflict in Superman's wake, which also provides some necessary cracks for Batman and the other undergrounders to slip through.
I think in order for the whole Nightwing thing to work, Superman would have to make him his #2 from the very beginning. I also feel Wonder Woman wouldn't want any involvement in either side and choose to protect her people. The Amazons would probably have to be attacked for her to jump in.
Big disagree with Nightwing and Starfire. I can see your reasoning for Nightwing but I don’t think friendship with Superman would be enough. It’s Starfire that I simply can’t see being for registration because she spent so much of her early life struggling for agency and independence.
I do like the idea of Luthor becoming president because he legitimately thinks he can do it better than anyone and he just wants to get the country/ world out of the tough time. I like the hero version of luthor with the villain past. A lot to work with there
I think nightwing would at the end join Batman and the question on looking into the registration in the background, kinda like in young justice with the light. He would be kind of a mole and when found out would go back to Batman and they would berry the hatchet. This would also I think serve as a moment for Superman to reflect, cause I feel like nightwing would be kind of voice of reason for supes. Idk just a thought.
Id love to see a whole side story of that Flash storyline. Kind of like secret wars. It would be so awesome seeing the Flash recruit Tim Drake and Nightwing as a small rag tag team trying to end the war. Would occasionally run into Batman who in his current state would not hesitate to incapacitate Flash or Nightwing if in his way. Could finally give Tim the respect his character deserves in a story like this.
Swamp Thing and Dr Fate wouldn’t give a damn about these issues. I see Deathstroke joining the government as a hunter of sorts, specifically hired to track Batman down after he steps down from his role as leader of the rebellion.
I'd love to see spin-off comics focusing on individual characters and how they'd deal with this. My personal picks would be; Aquaman: Arthur using loopholes and threats of war to avoid the registration and taking power away from Luthor. "I'm not a superhero, I'm a foreign sovereign, and those tankers are on the ocean. My territory." Blue Beetle/Captain Atom: Jaime and Nathaniel would absolutely be heroes who'd need handlers to decide power output and weapons that can be used. Captain Atom can only use certain forms of radiation, and Jaime can only use certain weapons under their handlers orders. I'd like to think Jaime would accidentally use a new weapon, and Captain Atom would see him drowning in paperwork after a minor misshap with it. Being tough, but still a nice person, he'd build up a rapport with the kid; taking him to a restaurant for a break or teaching him how to better use his powers. When blue beetle leaves the registration, we see Nathanial waver from the government for what could be the first time in his life. He fights Jaime later, but holds back, telling Superman he got away. Powergirl/Green Arrow: Another sort of teaching one. Power girl has never been the most subtle hero, but now with the registrations in place, she can't even fight in broad daylight. Not wanting to trust batman about it because she'd think he'd just probe her for more weaknesses on superman, Green arrow goes to her to give her some pointers on just how to be subtle; how to do espionage and quickly make on-the-fly civillian identities. Eventually, Black Canary starts getting worried about rumours about them and brings it up in a fight with Ollie.
Didn't Oracle once work for Waller when she first became Oracle? Kinda feels off to have her in opposite sides to Black Canary and Nightwing. But then again they both seam likely to join and Batman's side does need a hacker
Superman feeling guilty for what happened to the world is very good option.. He thinks if he wasn't here Darkseid wouldn't come to Earth but he can't see i he wasn't here darkseid would have tear Earth Apart, in this could be the arc.. Batman trying to show him he wasn't the reason but a protector of Earth..
If you really want to make it interesting then have Bruce become President. Have Congress pass registration act, President Wayne vetoes the bill, Congress overrides the veto. This would make DC Comics` Civil War: The Justice League vs We the People.
I would for sure make it so that lex luther seems to be turning in a new leaf. Have him do something major like actually save metropolis from a trash economy and maybe even have him save Superman's wife or kid, to really show Supes hes serious, maybe during the Darkseid attack.. We've seen that superman will not trust lex luther even though he does a lot of good so he needs to do even more good than usual.. I'd also see WW, among others, just saying "screw either side" and going home, kind of like the XMen in Marvel's Cival War, WW in particular I could see just staying home, seeing the conflict as Man's problem. Some of the Lantern Core I feel like might stay out of it too, being constricted by Owa to not be allowed to take a side outside of alien attack. I'm not sure about Power girl, but in the movies I've seen her in, she's a straight up government agent, with supergirl being more anti government, since the same people the cloned her are team Lex.
I agree with both members on each side especially Batman’s team but if they continue fighting would half of his team get arrested without due process and if you are continuing this I suggest about having being brought in like in Marvel with Team Ironman? 5:15 Speaking of T.M.M do you ever think of a possible future for them being together as a Husband and Wife duo possibly having children?
Would there be any deaths? Like on both side with both sides doing the killings? Either accidental or not. Also how much in universe time would pass? like the sorta start would be maybe be about a little before the Darkside war and the ending the end of the Civil war. I would prefer years like the Darkside war was maybe a week to some months then a little side story of the rise of lex that takes like a year maybe? Then some months to set up the reg then like a month for the initial teams to form then a year of gearing up and sorta soft fighting just arguing and sometimes coming to blows, but nothing huge then the real fighting happens and goes on for like Six years. So in my head you start with the setup of 3 years Darkside war/clean up/rise of lex 6 years of fighting progressively getting more lethal then 1 year of calming down both sides getting tired of fighting then like 1 year of trying to find compromise/finale big fight/superhero moment then like a epilogue so like 12/13 years for the whole thing. Like you can have the epilogue be about the kids that were raised during the Civil War, and how that affects them because most of them would be 13 to 16 by the end. I’d like it if the whole Civil War from start to finish no matter how it ends to be morally ambiguous no side could objectively say there side were morally superior. Just thought to give you some ideas and suggestions this seems like an interesting project so good luck and sorry for the long comment.
In my mind, if there were a registration in the DC universe, it would be Superman as anti-registration, Wonder Woman as pro-registration, and Batman as the middle ground at the beginning. Then he may pick a side as the story progresses. As for the lanterns, I just can't see Hal as pro-registration while John as anti-registration, switch sides with each others maybe.
I don't know if you've ever considered making a video like this, but I'd really like to know what you think a Marvel comics version of the Watchmen would be like.
Ehhh, she was on of like 4 heroes on president lex in public enemies' kill batman and superman squad that wasn't secretly working with batman and superman
@@abiodunsulaiman2297 that was bad writing. She was a slave and she is really big on freedom. She fought wonder woman when wonder woman wanted to restrict cassandra sandsmark. She fought for freedom fighters. Her whole personality based around of emotional freedom
i personally don't really think starfire would be on team superman, idk man that's just me. but overall the teams are really good and they are almost exactly where i would expect them to be
I think few heroes could retire plus I liked your vid but I personally think it’s dumb that canary joins superman she would at least join batman and Ollie or she would retire and possibly be with her child her and Ollie’s but I think you were right about Ollie’s part and all the other characters especially Nightwing and flash is role in this
I think cyborg and aquaman would be anti registration. I think cyborg wouldn’t sign it as he would want to be on the same side as power girl raven and his best friend beast boy and his mentor batman. i don’t remember and know a lot about aquaman but from what i remember the government had some role to play in his parents death i believe. that may be wrong but if it’s right i doubt he’d sign the registration act
While Superman would do anything to protect his loved ones (he'd become Lex's puppy if he has to, like in BVS: Dawn of Justice), he'd also do anything for the good of all, like with how he helped Lex get a pardon for his crimes just so the Justice League would have a bit of advantage against the Justice Lords. Superman hates Luthor, but not to the point of killing. Luthor is not Darkseid. That said, if we go with the Darkseid invasion as the pretext of this DC supes registration act, Superman would probably work with Luthor out of his own guilt over his poor handling of the affair. Sure, Supes might be amenable to working with Luthor...but I don't think Luthor would be amenable to working with Superman, considering he'd only negotiate when absolutely driven to a corner, and will always screw anyone and everyone over when on a position of strength. If anything, Luthor would put Superman to jail and have someone like Captain Atom be America's new boy scout. Heck, maybe Shazam can then join Captain Atom as the first underling of Captain Atom's own Justice League.
You need to make an explanation to how the registration would affect the Teen Titans. Lex would undoubtedly target them. He couldn’t get them to register because they’re minors but he would make some super juvenile hall to keep them locked in
I completely forgot to add an Amanda Waller segment in this video. However, Batman knows better than to believe that this is out of good faith or even the possiblity that she is masking the information. Instead of the full truth she only offers 70% but treats it like 100%. She has her own plans of course. Both sides need to be cautious.

Why not make a part two with Amanda waller
Pls continue this series. Talk about the villains that join both sides because don’t forget marvel’s civil war had villains join both sides as well
It’s such an interesting tale
@@glowhoo9226those two totally don’t get an opinion on the matter since their identities are known
Definitely Kon-El
This, the younger members would likely not take sides and instead focus purely on saving lives. Maybe do something like the cringe Outsiders BS..
I feel like this should be the case all the way upto Dick grayson’s generation. Its really only between Batman & Supermans generation and maybe the older dudes like Jay Garrick etc
@@kameronbailey6939 yup and Young Justice
Oouu this is a good idea
A good improvement I think. In this universe I’d have it that Lex & Superman were once child hood friends to sell them getting along better here & working together.
Martian Manhunter would eventually be the Flash’s main man seeking a middle ground I’d guess.
It’d be interesting if Superboy or Supergirl don’t side with SM because they could never forgive Lex for his past actions though. They think Clark is being naive trusting him.
100% on kon especially if it's 90s esc
I could definitely see Supergirl joining the Anti-Registration side.
Part 3 please, that's a good list and I guess some of them right from the first video. I like the Blue Beetle/Firestorm dynamic.
And maybe Black Lighting could give him so advice or convince him to join Superman's side
Also I think it be a fun making Flash being the middle man like Trinity constantly convincing Flash to join their side (Because while DC Fandom and Flash himself don't know it, he's pretty much the 4th statue in that mount rushmoore of DC hereos) and Flash is just torn because these 3 are his good friends then maybe join Superman in Vol 3.
I can’t imagine Cyborg siding with registration
i cant imagine cyborg willingly going against superman and becoming a fugitive, either. and something tells me that he wouldn't exactly function well as a normal human being unfortunately in our society

Almost at 11k ...keep up the great content
Thank you, will do!
Continue this! This is entertaining and a dope conversation topic!
Another banger!
The fact that the only cosistent element that i, plus other viewers, disagree with you is your distaste for Lois Lane, shows how good your content is and how creative and knowledgeable you are when it comes to DC as a whole. Major props!

Completely dig your role for the Flash. I'm glad he has something interesting to do that sets him apart from his actions in Injustice.
Awesome video
What a fun video, love to see Question included. I also like the idea of this story simply not having any bad guys, simply a clash of ideals.
We gon need a part 3 on this, brody!!
Love it, and the change. Because the family thing i agree wouldn't make sense for superman either.
Also i feel having flash as the Spider-Man character is perfect. I also feel Batman would be like Nick Fury in the Marvel Alliance game trying to figure out the purpose of all this
I really really like this idea
Please continue this story it’s a very interesting concept
I can definitely appreciate the appeal of flipping their usual scripts and having Supes in the shadows and Bats in the public eye.
The second Zatanna joined the resistance the restigration was screwed
I agree with this 👍🏻
I would love to see this story fully fleshed out
I honestly would like to see Hal initially be apart of the registration but have cost city be a victim of the darkside war and use him as the focus on why the registration would happen
You HAVE to make a plot video of how this story would go!!! I’m downright captivated! 😃😃😃
Teams, Characters and their Significance
Team Registration
1) Superman - everything you said, he's the poster boy and always had decent affliations with the US government, Kansas raised, can't get more american than that
2) Luthor - Definetly not the evil version, more like the darkseid war version, he's still self serving but he sees the benefits and value of the JL. Also, rmb, he hates Superman for what he represnets, not necessarily who he is, so might grow to respect him overtime
3) Hal Jordan - Space cop, maybe Carol Danvers died, he becoems a little fearful of his own ability, thinks the registration is good
4) Shazam - Definetly a beta superman bascially, wants to be the next one
5) Nightwing - I can see something similar to the White Knight arc where his lingering opposition to Batman's tactics becomes exacerbated. Like the GTO, he becomes maybe the task force leader for the specially equipped shoulders that can take down heroes
6) Captain Atom - Literally an ex soldier, bro is on the beck and call of Eiling lol
7) Hawkman - Always thought of him as a brute who tries to make it seem like he's got a good IQ above 100, good for registration cause he was a Lt on thanagar
8) Manhunter - Maybe joins out of fear in a way, he's always been a pacifist at heart even though he's crazy overpowered, Close to superman for sure but didn't have the american upbrining basically
9) Flash - I agree, he's the swing
10) Supergirl - Trusts his cousin and basically would protect him no matter what
Team Anti Registration
1) Wonder Woman - Joins late and becomes the new leader, I really liked that nuance about her. Maybe the story has a two part sequence where her leadership gives hope that the fighting might end or there can be a compromise. Was always one of the two leaders but becomes THE leader
2) Batman - Definetly one of the first Anti-Registration members, and basically at this point, everything superman does, he doesn't do lol. Him being stubborn and abandoning once he is voted out of favour would be a classic, but him relinquishing sole command to WW, maybe after a huge death, and at the end, maybe he stops being Batman by retiring, would be interesting
3) Green Arrow - No explanation, GA is anti-reg is any world, chat gpt literally thinks so as well
4) Zatanna - Not as indifferent as Dr fate but definetly more there for the people at the end of the day, not to say she doesn't hold conviction for the cause. She's almost like an in house consoler or might become the mediator of the fighting in some way
5) Red Hood - Last thing he wants is to be told that something/someone out of his control or familiarity can judge what he can and cannot do, especially if it becomes dictatorial
6) John Constantine - Bit of wildcard, he defintely won't join the other side, but he might bail throughout the story
7) Blue Bettle - He's the swing for this team, joins the registration act because it gives him some internal sense of control, never alleviated the fear of an aline scarab stuck to his back that can disobey, betray and control him anytime
8) John Stewart - Definetly anti-registration. Don't need to paint you in picutre of the colours, but minority group --> registration --> government --> authoritarian rule making, yeah that's not a good train of thought for him
9) Huntress - basically like her injustice version, not a super signifcant characeter but might be impactful
10) Superboy - a wild card for me, definitely super conflicted between superman and cadmus cloning life PTSD.
🔥 video we need a part 2
Bro Gave us the part 2 🙏🏾
I would love to see a whole video about what your dc universe looks like!
We know Hal’s politics and that “by choice” thing should be enough of a ploy to make him feel comfortable enough joining
Hmmm, Wonder Woman, Hawkgirl and Raven being against Government Policing? Injustice needs to take notes
I really like Injustice but I did find it very odd that Raven of all people would side with Superman in that story.
@@tyrellmultimedia Oh yeah I totally agree. Injustice (a lot like the original Civil War) wrote a lot of characters out of character
Hey, glad you're enjoying the content! And thanks for the offer, I might take you up on that offer in the future!
I love everything you wrote here.
@@kingofhearts3185 thanks
Only thing I’d change about this story. Lex Luthor has never been a villain, not openly at least. Becoming president and starting the registration is his big evil plan where he reveals himself by the end.
I wanna hear how this story FULLY plays out bcz I am invested would want to see how it would end
I still think that Superman being pro registration not by choice undermines the point of Civil War.
I said in the video I changed that idea, it's by choice.
@@tyrellmultimediaoh sorry then.
All good 👍🏼
I think a DC Civil War doesn't necessarily have to be about a registration act, and I actually think something like Civil War 2 or Tower of Babel would be more appropriate for DC.
Wasn't it straight up said in the green arrow that he's gonna betray waller and is only going this because she kidnapped his family
@@abiodunsulaiman2297 You might be right! I haven't seen coverage of that yet, just the main story. Thank you for that info!
What about Super boy ?
@@KamilKurzawakomentarze-kk4uu Probably him too. I like a concise superman family-I'll see if I want to use Superboy, Supergirl, or Power Woman.
Plz continue this
Id love to see a whole side story of that Flash storyline.
TMM: Beast Boy and Raven would be in a relationship at this point.
Me: YES!
I'd love to see spin-off comics focusing on individual characters and how they'd deal with this. My personal picks would be;
Aquaman: Arthur using loopholes and threats of war to avoid the registration and taking power away from Luthor. "I'm not a superhero, I'm a foreign sovereign, and those tankers are on the ocean. My territory."
Blue Beetle/Captain Atom: Jaime and Nathaniel would absolutely be heroes who'd need handlers to decide power output and weapons that can be used.
Speaking of remember during Marvel Civil War that they brought in villains to join them Ironman.
You should make a video of what book 1 would be about
Superman feeling guilty for what happened to the world
is very good option..
He thinks if he wasn't here Darkseid wouldn't come
to Earth but he can't see i he wasn't here darkseid would have tear Earth Apart, in this could be the arc..
Batman trying to show him he wasn't the reason
but a protector of Earth..
So does Green Arrow also go off to work with Batman and The Question as well
If you really want to make it interesting then have Bruce become President. Have Congress pass registration act, President Wayne vetoes the bill, Congress overrides the veto. This would make DC Comics` Civil War: The Justice League vs We the People.
I have considered a plot line of Wayne running against Luthor.
T.M.M dropped another bagger
I would change things to that Superman went to lex and asked him to write the act and Superman gives a speech to the UN
I really like that!
@@tyrellmultimedia it would be a massive twist that Clark went to lex and that’s how their friendship starts
Please Do Nightwing Sinister Six
It's coming!
Yes some of these characters such as Raven and Beast Boy would be married and have children or have children on the way.
Then some months to set up the reg then like a month for the initial teams to form then a year of gearing up and sorta soft fighting just arguing and sometimes coming to blows, but nothing huge then the real fighting happens and goes on for like
Six years.
That's interesting!
Doctor Doom would most likely be in the role of Ozymandias.

There should be a part 2 BUT about which villains/anti-heroes would want registration to happen or would rebel
I think Aquaman would want to stay out of it but I believe Lex would force his hand one way or another. Ultimately giving the rebels some help.
Starfire would definitly be anti-registration
Ehhh, she was on of like 4 heroes on president lex in public enemies' kill batman and superman squad that wasn't secretly working with batman and superman

You mean Connor Lance Queen right?
Yes kind of but he is at a young age probably 5 or 6
I think cyborg and aquaman would be anti registration.
Damn. Batmans team is a power house. Firestorm and martian manhunter are heavily underrated
I need more
You need to make an explanation to how the registration would affect the Teen Titans. Lex would undoubtedly target them. He couldn’t get them to register because they’re minors but he would make some super juvenile hall to keep them locked in
You should do secret wars next.
I like this premise. What would DC's Illuminati look like
He actually did a vid kn that: ruclips.net/video/KAImDVuLjYc/видео.htmlsi=Ir8IKpGxlkeJDwG2
